REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (See page IP-14) REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH (See page IP-14) REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH (See page IP-14) REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY (See page IP-15) REMOVE SEAT HEATER SWITCH (a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat heater switch.

INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (a) Inspect the driver side seat heater switch operation. (1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard resistance
Tester Connection E55-6 (LH) - E55-5 (IG) E55-6 (LH) - E55-5 (IG) Switch Position OFF ON Specified Condition 10 k or higher Below 1

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch. (2) Turn the seat heater switch on and check if the seat heater switch indicator comes on. OK
Measurement Condition Battery positive (+) Terminal E55-5 (IG) Battery negative (-) Terminal E55-4 (E) Specified Condition Comes on
