    This affordable Container Home was constructed using 2 x 40 Type 1A and 1 x 20 Type 1A Containers. Its an interesting example of using Container based Construction on a difficult access site in this case a heavily sloping site. For those of you that have watched our stacking fundamentals video where we explain the basics of stacking containers you will notice that the container s are stacked out of their intended alignment ie they are cross stacked. As you look through the booklet note the modifications made to the containers to allow this style of stacking most obvious is on the bottom container you can see the vertical posts and reinforcement in several pictures.
