Mulberry School and Carone Beaucage as a cleanup project. The
original area was a vacant lot that had been “sprinkled with broken glass
and trash. Graffiti covered the nearby warehouse…” Carone had moved
into a house across the street and had said that she did not want her
children to have to view such an unsightly “mess”. The community
(teachers, students and parents) was invited to help out – creating
ornamental, fruit and vegetable garden plots with trucked in soil.
Kingston businesses also donated soil, lumber and plants during this
early period. Ultimately, the group “FRILL” (Friends Revitalizing Industrial
Land Lovingly) was born of this cohesive project and included families of
the students at the school, people in the neighbourhood and Kingston
citizens.

Canada. The union was formally dissolved on January 1, 1865. The
evolution of its municipal history continues. On January 1, 1998, the
eighteen former townships were restructured to form four – the
Townships of North, Central and South Frontenac and the Frontenac

According to the 2006 Census, Prince Edward has a population of 25,496
