2008 - Ongoing Tesco Ltd - Based in Forfar Whilst working in Tesco I have been trained, and worked, in many different disciplines. These include: Warehouse logistics, Operation of checkout tills, Product handling, Stock control, Health and safety, Customer service / problem solving, Working with raw and cooked meats, Cleaning all ovens cooking equipment on a regular basis.

The agency specialises in developing strong, long-term relationships and supplies advertising, PR, promotional services, copywriting, exhibition and conference logistics and project management to large companies that no longer have these services in-house because of down-sizing. My role within the business was to accompany the Directors of the business to exhibitions both within the UK and abroad, co-ordinating the design and build of exhibition stands. I also helped in the sourcing of promotional give away items at these exhibitions.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE CONTINUED

2009-2013 Green Fingers Association 181 Craigie Drive, Dundee, Tayside, DD4 7NV The Green Fingers Association has raised a large sum of money from lottery and other outside funding. Completed projects include the creation of a sensory garden within a sheltered housing complex. This project involved creating and maintaining raised flowerbeds and seating and allowed people of different ages and cultures to learn a selection of environmental skills such as garden design and maintenance. I have been involved in all areas of this project including: Financial planning over a period of 5 years The writing of the bid to the lottery fund Design and planning of gardens Actual garden maintenance The Association has already received a Gold Merit Award and parliamentary recognition.

These included: Serving drinks to customers, Dealing with customer queries, Serving hot and cold food, Keeping the building clean, Making tea and coffee, Greeting customers as they entered the building, Regular cleaning of whole pub, operating washing machines and dishwashers, Cleaning cups, mugs and glasses for instant re-use.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

I have been playing the electric and acoustic guitar for about 5-6 years now. I am looking for other enthusiastic people to start a band together, and try to play a few shows. I play songs for my friends on my acoustic and I spend at least an hour a day writing my own music. I try to get out and play sports when I can; I have a group of friends that I play 5-a-side football with every week. I also try to get exercise from other sports such as cycling, swimming and walking. I always go to the local gym 4 times a week. I enjoy researching upcoming improvements in computing and often upgrade my computer with new hardware and software as it comes on to the market.
