Dayna Ma
The best part of the program is the balance between learning time, free time, and cultural studies. You can pretty much adjust your own plans to get a bit of everything while maximizing what you want to do the most.

Andre Choi
The buddy system is the best part of the program. I think interacting with Japanese people was the best learning experience for me in this program.

Ashley Petryk
The buddies were what made this trip amazing. They are what makes Ritsumeikans program special. They are our friends, tour guides, language teachers, and support group. I cant imagine going on a program without them.

Johnny Hidalgo
It provides a learning experience that you cant get learning Japanese back in America.

Elizabeth Cranfield
The activities were definitely my favorite part of the program. They helped me learn about culture in a fun, hands on environment. The cultural activities were so well planned and presented. The combination of Tea, Zen, Maiko, etc really helped me gain better understanding of Japanese culture. The pottery, chopsticks etc also gave me an amazing experience. I will never forget.

Samantha Lam
The language class was interactive and I was able to pick up many useful phrases to use in my everyday life. The teachers were patient and used creative methods to teach us. Although it was an intense language program, I enjoyed every minute of it! 08
