Vaas well and truly exposed by his own subordinates how blood money was collected etc.

(Lanka-e-News09.June.2013, 9.30PM) The relatives of those who were murdered are deeply shocked and dismayed over the interrogations conducted into the cold blooded contract murders committed by DIG Vaas Gunawardena , and the failure of the State to take him into custody in the face of such glaring copious evidence arrayed against him. Following the statements recorded of the two underworld criminals , the police officers and the Mudalalis (businessmen) who gave blood monies to DIG Vaas Gunawardena , it had clearly come to light without any trace of doubt that Vaas is the key player and leader in these contract murders . Hence by not taking him into custody it has become crystal clear that the rule of law is dethroned and jungle law is enthroned under the present rule of beasts and brutes. Lakmini Bamunusinghe SI working under Vaas Gunawardena and who was arrested by CID had also made a confession that Vaas gave him money to commit a murder. The SI who is attached to the North western division Peliyagoda DIG office , and three Police constables (PC) belonging to the special police unit of Vaas Gunawardena have been taken into custody. Sanjeewa Priyantha PC No. 67656 and Gamini Sanathchandra PC No. 51798 are two of the constables in custody.It is PC Sanjeewa Priyantha who had been the driver of the vehicle in these murders . He had disclosed that on one occasion by white Van and on other occasions by police vehicles the victims were abducted , and that DIG Vaas had provided the vehicles for these crimes. Bamunusinghe SI had also by making a confession stated that two days prior to the murder of Bambalapitiya Shyam , Vaas Gunawardena introduced Mohomed Fowradeen who gave the contract to kill Shyam when they met at Mt. Lavinia . Bamunusinghe had further stated that it is their Mahaththaya , (murderer DIG) who orchestrated the whole operation , and all these crimes were committed at the behest of their Mahaththaya. The SI used the name Mahathaya clearly referring to Vaas Gunawardena (the deadliest government Paathalaya) and not to any other Paathalaya or Patholaya . The latest information elicited had revealed that Vaas Gunawardena and the murder team had not only

committed contract murders , but have even indulged in a number of extortions . Despite this copious and cogent evidence against Vaas Gunawardena ,strangely the latter had not been arrested. Perhaps because under the jungle laws there are no provisions to arrest him. On the other hand , the culprit Vaas Gunawardena had stated this is a conspiracy against him hatched by the enemies of his in the police force. It is learnt that President Mahinda Rajapakse had been urged to enforce the law ( if any exists under the countrys legal system not under the jungle laws ) by Muslim leaders of the country against the murderers of Shyam. However , because of the crime record of Gotabaya using Vaas Gunawardena , MaRa is in a deep quandary anyway it is the consensus MaRa will find a way out more by foul than fair means which talent he had always demonstrated -he will pass an enactment under the jungle laws with the help of the brutes and beasts in his fold.

MaRa intervenes on behalf of contract murderer Vaas Gunawardena in CID investigations

(Lanka-e-News-09.June.2013, 9.30PM) DIG Vaas Gunawardena was summoned to the CID for the second day today, and questioned in connection with the grave allegations against him of committing contract murders after collecting monies in millions. However , the CID which ought to have taken him into custody based on the grave allegations was obstructed from doing so on orders from the Medamulana MaRa . He was therefore released. Vaas was questioned for 8 long hours on 6th which alone proves how serious are the charges. It is unfortunate that though Lanka e news as always, frankly, forthrightly and fearlessly reported on four occasions since 1st June that a DIG was involved in gruesome murders based on contracts undertaken by him for money , no other media reported this news about the high rung DIG in uniform in Sri Lanka under a brutal regime who is murdering people like underworld criminal leaders for money. Only June 6th some English media and Broadcasting stations reported about the CID interrogation of the DIG . Two underworld criminals taken into custody recently in connection with the murder of a Businessman of Bambalapitiya had via confessions admitted that this contract was entrusted to them by the DIG Vaas Gunawardena and they had been paid Rs. 2-3 lakhs to execute his contract.

Later , when two Businessmen Chrishantha and Mohomed Fowradeen were taken into custody , they stated that they paid cash to Vaas Gunawardena to murder their enemies . Three police officers under Vaas Gunawardena who assisted in the murders were arrested. Those officers too revealed that they received orders from Vaas Gunawardena for these murders. More police officers were taken into custody. Repeated exposures of this ruthless murder operation , compelled the Rajapakse regime to summon Vaas Gunawardena for questioning, as it was left with no other choice. Moreover Shyam the

businessman of Bamabalapitiya who was murdered and whose body was found in Dompe is a relative of Western province Governor Alawi Moulana .Consequently there has been pressure brought to bear from his side. In any case Vaas Gunawardena is one who carries out the illegal murder orders of defense secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse. 5 murders out of 14 committed by Vaas are on the unlawful orders of Gotabaya, the devil incarnate. In the circumstances , if action is taken against Vaas on Shyams murder and other nine , the murders on Gotas orders will also be exposed. Hence , in order to pacify Moulana , Vaas had been summoned and interrogated but with a view to suppress the murders. Sri Lanka s President himself had intervened today to rescue the contract murderer , DIG Vaas Gunawardena. The President had instructed the CID to interrogate Vaas Gunawardena and release him . That may seem incredible , but that is Sri Lanka now the Commanding chief of the Forces and the highest in the hierarchy of Sri Lanka giving these obnoxious illegal orders . One can now imagine what will be the result of the investigation too, when a licensed contract murderer is being protected by the State. MaRa had openly announced that his theory is to safeguard his men irrespective of their crimes because that is the way he shows gratitude to them . It is well to recall that in the history of Sri Lanka never have there been reports of murders being committed for money and sordid contracts by a police officer of the high rungs. This is therefore creating a most dangerous precedent. This incident only goes to confirm that the rulers in the highest echelons of administration of this regime are involved in cold blooded murders. When the rulers use the paramilitary force to murder people , those murderers who are used naturally become immune from the law enforcement and punishment . They may commit one or few murders to serve and save the rulers , but that provides the encouragement definitely to them to murder many more for their own selfish gains money and other benefits with impunity, as in Vaas Gunawardenas murders. The rulers are unable to punish such murderers because their own murders will get exposed. The contract murderers of the rulers being fully aware of this , feel free therefore to carry out their own murders too to achieve their own personal gains. In other words it creates a vicious cycle to the detriment of the people and the country though the rulers may think they are accomplishing their self centered atrocious goals. While this is the most ominous trend in Sri Lanka currently , the unscrupulous shameless media coolies are turning their gaze away from all these to serve their selfish self fattening ends after doing the sordid biddings of the murderous regime. Very soon other groups in official uniforms committing murders will also proliferate , in that event this media coolies will have to stoop to purifying their blood too .
