Overview
This Demo shows the placing of sales orders in an IS Mills system. The first scenario shows the entry of the customer material number. This is automatically cross-referenced using an info record to steel manufacturer part number. The second scenario shows the entry of a generic material and some product characteristics. The system then performs product matching to propose suitable materials. The third scenario shows the entry of a generic material and some product characteristics. No product matching is performed, but the characteristics are passed through to the production order.
