Background:
Founded on agriculture, China is a large country with a huge population. However looking back on the national history, it is easy to tell that the country, with a history and civilization as long as 5,000 years, turned out to be a hungry nation. Natural disasters and famines can be seen everywhere along the history. It was estimated that during the 4,000 years since 18th century BC, there had been more than 5,500 disasters, which means that on average disaster happened once in every six months. In other

words, the food had always been a problem of this country. And it remained so until the reform and opening up vigorously promoted the development of agriculture, then the objective to feed the people was finally achieved. China had become a miracle because it finally realized basic self-sufficiency in an almost impossible conditionlarge population but limited natural resources. However the problems restricting agricultural development still existed, such as relatively poor agricultural productivity, increasing demand for grain, decreasing amount and quality of farming land and water resources, inadequate grain safety guarantee mechanism, and the recent up-and-downs of the grain price. We have to give a deeper thought to the grain safety policies and come up with a better strategy. At present, Chinas grain industry is experiencing an important period where the grain economic growth is changing heavily, a period of grain industry structure adjustment and grain circulation development. The grain industry must adhere to the scientific development, seek progress in stability, and seize the opportunity for better development, working hard to develop grain industrialization operation and to provide nutritious, safe, healthy and convenient grain and oil and staple food to assure the society. The developing law of commodity economy applies to grain development as well, the strategy of grain development, therefore, is much related to that of commodity economy. A quality expo can help improve the industry development, activate commodity economy, and promote the industry structure adjustment. As the result, 3rd IGPE China (Shanghai) International Grain and Processing Industry Expo came into being.

Jointly organized by Chinese Nutrition Society, Cereal and Oil Marketing Sub-council of Chinese Cereals and Oils Association, China Green Economic Development Institute, Yonghong Kunxiao Expo (Shanghai) Co., Ltd and Yonghong International Expo (Beijing) Co., Ltd, the 4th IGPE China (Shanghai) International Grain and Processing Industry Expo is to be held in Beijing National Agricultural Exhibition Center during Oct. 29-31. The former three IEOE expos have all seen many famous enterprises, including Cofco, Yihai Kerry, China Grain Reserves Corporation, Hebei Wudeli,

Henan Zhonghe, etc. After the 2nd IEOE expo, the organizing committee had decided that a program managing department should be eastablished in order to serve the enterprises of grain industry since 2013. The IGPE organizing committee will adopt advanced operations and preparation in all ways. With the aim of Safety, Health, and Nutrition, we are making every effort to build a better marketing environment for the industry!

1. Exhibitors must have valid business license which is in the period of validity, QS certification and other legal documents, and etc. 2. The person in charge of the company fill "Exhibitor Application and Contract Form" after selecting the booth, then have it affixed with official seal, fax or e-mail it to the Organizing Committee Secretariat (the fax or photocopy of the contract has the same effect), the Organizing Committee Secretariat will issue a "Booth Confirmation" to exhibitors after receiving the "Exhibitor Application and Contract Form" within two days. 3. Exhibitors should transfer the exhibition fees to the designated bank account of the Organizing Committee of the exposition within five days when receiving the "Booth confirmation", otherwise the Organizing Committee may have the right to change or cancel the qualification of the booth.

4. The Organizing Committee adheres to principles of application, payment and confirmation should be prior. 5. The Organizing Committee is entitled to adjust some of the confirmed booths based on the requirement for overall effect and fire safety of the venue.
