ICT Lesson Plan Key Stage/Syllabus Reference (14-19): Date: Period & Time: Lesson No: 8 15/01/2013 5&6

13:30 1500 Numeracy, Literacy & ICT opportunities: Literacy students will be reading out questions and answers to the class as well as constructing questions and peer marking other students work ICT students will be using the interactive whiteboard as well as using word or power point to record/construct their questions and answers

Trainee Target(s) coming into lesson from previous taught lessons/ observations: Issues from previous lesson pupil/ content/ delivery/ completion etc: Keep an eye on Tanvir, Ridhwan Kai and Niamul they have been reminded about keeping quiet/focusing when the teacher/other students are talking/discussing something Tanvir and Ikram separated as they continued to talk both in my lesson and Miss Iqamas lesson Students completed all power point slides on lessons 4-6 and reviewed what has been taught in Chapter 4 & 5 Behavioural management strategies using (inc. attached seating plan): Seating plan attached under document SEN student towards the front of the class Behaviour Monitors off when teaching talking (use net support if necessary) Countdown 5,4,3,2,1 to get students attention No hands up policy (when teacher asking questions) Use Red and Green card in student diaries to check student understanding Green understand/yes/true etc Red No/false/dont understand etc Morpeth Achievement policy Students who work well (students who may normally not perform well or SEN students planners can be signed or postcards sent home Students given one warning about behaviour/chattiness then will be kept back for detention

Objectives 2 minutes

Go over objectives of lesson with student one student to read each objective teacher to quiz other students Grouping: Class put into groups of 3 each pair given an exam question (3 pairs will have the same question students to attempt to answer this question on paper together. Next Students to use their notes/books and the internet to answer the question again, this time after researching the question/topic Students to join up with other group in the class each group will teach the other group how to answer their question correctly (using the answer from their research/notes) Revision Checklist 1 & 2 students to work on

this individually write down key words/things to help them revise

Other relevant information required for the lesson: Ayesha Struggles with ICT and was put through into this module because of an admin error currently struggling with the subject but does show enthusiasm minor EAL issues
