MY OLD TIME RADIO LISTENING LOG

so I stumbled upon the joy of old time radio some time ago..and started listening to it online when I am working on other stuff, as well as via a Smartphone app that i listen to at night as I fall asleepso many goldie oldies as they say.. from Laurel & Hardy to many mystery shows such as Mysterious Travel (MT) episodes to Escape to Inner Sanctum stories as well as numerous comedy (Fibber McGee,MisAdventures of Si & Elmer,.., Baby Snooks is hilarious; Father Knows Best is always good;Life of Riley ;The Aldrich Family;Life with Luigi (very funny); The Bickersons (husband & wife squabbling); Our Miss Brooks (re a teachers life); ) , law enforcement genre: detectives & crimestoppers (Philip Marlowe,Squad Cars ; Rocky Fortune (Frank Sinatra); Johnny Dollar; et al) , westerns (eg The Six Shooterwith James Stewart is one of my favorites; also The Whistler; Have Gun Will Travel ; Gunsmoke) adventure (Rocky Jordan, Harry Lime

& Bold Venture are good ones), drama (CBS radio mystery theater; Lux radio theatre; Screen Guild Theatre; ), Science Fiction & Outer Space (eg X Minus One; Dimension X et al) and musical shows, among others, also theres at least one specific site that re-tells the story of the Bible in narration form, which is called The Greatest Story Ever Told and can be found at http://archive.org/details/TheGreatestStoryEverTold and the LIST GOES ON! There are many websites devoted to old time radio, but some of them are actually trying to get people to PAY for what is FREE! These are all shows that are in the public domain (pd) meaning they are available to the public to use as we choose without charge (the copyright is expired). Therefore, I encourage you to find the free sites. One which has a large selection is at http://archive.org/details/oldtimeradio . Just seach the words or OTR and you will find others as well. I didnt start the log until some time after I had been listening for a while, so not everything is shown here. Also in some cases I tried to jot down a brief summary of the plot & characters. Theres even old-time commercials that you may remember, depending on how long youve been around. This is mostly for my own memory, but if you find it entertaining or helpful all the better.
