Chroma Lightline Installation Document Manual

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION Read this manual before use, incorrect use could damage the product. Check if the delivery is complete and undamaged. Should the delivery be incomplete or damaged, please contact your supplier. Do not in any circumstances use damaged or incomplete products. Any work on or associated with Lightline should be carried out by suitably qualified personal. Lightline should be assembled and used in accordance with local national regulations. Lightline is a technical product and should be treated as a class 2 lighting luminaire. LIGTHLINE MODULE Cables cannot be lead through the Lightline modules. The lamp, electronics and housing are balanced in the factory and are not user modifiable. Cables or other parts may not be modified, lamps cannot be replaced. There are no user serviceable parts, modules. POWER SUPPLY Power supply do not require earthing. Power supply requires 100-240Volt. Power supplies are applied with mains cable tail for connection to the main circuit. Electrical supply requires SELV approval. Power packs used in closed environment may suffer reduced lifetime. ENVIROMENTAL PARAMETERS Lightline units comply with IEC 60529, protection class IP40. Avoid water / moisture in and on the Lightline. Ta maximum 50C and minimum 10 C. No chilling of the Lightline modules. NO COLD AIR, ISOLATE FROM COLD SURFACE. Mounting directly onto metal is not allowed. Lightline is only suitable for interior applications and can be installed in normal flammable materials. ASSEMBLY Locate the power pak in a suitable location. Connect the power pack to the Lightline with the connector cables using the Nector S plugs and sockets. Connect the mains supply to the power pack. In case of malfunction disconnect the mains supply.

General remarks
In case of any technical problem, disconnect power supply and consult the supplier. Unauthorised changes or modifications will invalidate the warranty. Replacement of the lamp is not possible. Avoid water / moisture in and on the Lightline. Lightline contains Mercury and Fluorescent powder which can damage the environment, it must be disposed of responsibly at end of life in accordance with local regulations.
