Introduction
n the current era of digitalization all the fields of our daily life are gone digital. We can see people with smart devices all around us. The children and teenagers are very crazy about these smart devices and they have become too habitual to use these devices that all they need is their education to be digitized. E-books are the future of the education world. We are working in the field of e-books from past 3 years. We do all the pre-publishing activities from scratch to fully functional e-books. More details about the work are defined under the SCOPE OF WORK section below.
Process/ Flow of Work

The designing and producing a flawless e-book we will have to follow the following stages. This will help us to work fast and accurate. 1. Input: For staring the work we need a raw data file of the book text. The input file may be in any of the formats such as PDF, Word document, Page Maker file etc. 2. Production: In this stage we will follow all the steps as mentioned in Scope of Work section. 3. Output: This is the final stage of the process. In this step we will get the digital version of the book. We can provide any of the formats for e-book. However it is upto the client what versions he/she needs from us. We can convert the book in any electronic format such as mobi, epub3, prc, pdf, flash and other smart phone and devices compatible formats. We create e-books with audio-visual effects also, means audio e-books and video ebooks according to clients requirement. We are also able to create the apps of the books for any of the smart phones, tablets and other devices such as iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry and Sony etc.
Scope of Work
Following are the tasks involved in the process we follow for generating the E-book of any of the book or magazine in different formats: 1. Data Extraction (from the given file from client). 2. Data conversion in digital and device compatible format. 3. Spell Checking and corrections. 4. Image Processing 5. Fixing the layout 6. Typesetting 7. Template Setting 8. Proof Reading 9. Testing 10. Insertion of audio and video effects (If needed) 11.Conversion in desired e-book format
Security of Content
For security of the content provided by the client (publisher / author) we will take the following measures: 1. A legal Non-Disclosure-Agreement (NDA) will be signed by both the parties for the security of the content. 2. An application called DRM can be attached with the e-books when they are uploaded to the online-store for sale so that only the purchaser of the e-book can open the e-book only in one system. But DRM software is costly and less reliable so the client will have to pay for the DRM.
Delivery Schedule
s of now we can deliver the lot of 200- 250 e-books in a week. We can process and convert around 1000 pages per day with our expert and dedicated team of highly experienced and skilled professionals. We can extend our capacity as per the clients requirements.
Cost Statement
he cost of the eBook conversion service depends upon the source file format and the quality of the content. To create a compatible form of e-book our general costing criteria is given below:

*These prices are only indicative. The actual cost may differ as per the complexity of the book content. The cost shown above is just for single eBook format such as ePub or mobi or kf8 etc. For more than one formats a different cost scheme will be applied on the additional formats. We can discuss and negotiate for the price depending upon the volume of the work and the quality and quantity as well.
PS: For bulk orders (more than 3000 pages) we avail a discount of 10% on the final amount. Terms and Conditions: Payment:
1. 40% advance at the time of PO or the agreement 30% in between the work process and half delivery 30% final delivery of the project 2. Service tax of 12.36 % will be applicable on the final payment.
General:
1. A non disclosure agreement (NDA) will be signed between Arise Web Technologies and the client organization. 2. The client should provide the error free content in the raw files. Arise Web Tech will not be responsible for such errors. 3. The audio / video/ animation and/or the illustrations will be provided by the client. 4. If client does not provide the audio, video and illustrations then the designing/development charges will also be applicable from the client. 5. We can deliver the digitized books through ftp or the method chosen by client
