Your faithfulness in giving and praying has allowed these advances in the ministry and we know that the Lord will truly reward and bless each of you. You may never see these children or come to Hawai'i, but know that your reward is in heaven because of your investment here in Hawai'i. You continue to help us sow those seeds in the lives of the children and you are clearly seeing how the Lord is taking care of growing the ministry and causing many to come to faith in Him. If you can and are able to, we would love for you to come visit and see firsthand what the Lord is doing. We would love to take you to the clubs where children are meeting each week to hear a clear Gospel presentation. And we would love to show you where we work, do ministry and have some fun around the island!

Support Updates
great to be in Hawaii. And yes, it is indeed a very nice place to visit or live; however, I think for me, this natural beauty of Hawaii had caused me not to think of the great need for the Gospel. I think many others have seen it this way and as a result, supporting missionaries in or going to Hawaii has been on a low. Support raising is definitely not something we do because we like it and it was not our first choice to do. But God is ultimately in control and has called us to do so at this time in our lives. As the leader of my family, it is sometimes hard to not worry about the finances and sometimes even second guess myself for raising support. But I am continually reminded that God is our great Provider. God wants us to be good stewards of the finances He has entrusted us with, so why not prayerfully consider making an investment that will last to eternity? We are still a long way from being fully supported; however, it does not have to be this way. Your partnership will help us fully focus our attention on the children of Hawaii. We need your partnership so that the ministry to children in Hawaii can continue for years to come. We have looked back several times over the past months and we have seen how the Lord met every need we had and we truly believe it is because we have been faithful to give to the work the Lord is doing as we support other missionaries and give to our supporting churches to carryout their ministry. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. Luke 6:38

s you may remember from our previous newsletter, we have lost a few supporters this year. Some supporters made one year commitments and gave faithfully, but could not continue to give. I also mentioned in our last newsletter that God continues to provide for our needs and we have gained a few more financial supporters to cover the ones that could no longer give. I guess one of the drawbacks to being a missionary in Hawaii is that many see it as more of a vacationing destination and this was my same thought as well prior to accepting the call here. My knowledge of Hawaii came from the media. The commercials, games shows, TV shows etc. which all carried the same message, Come enjoy and relax in Hawaii. You see the beaches and they look so inviting and then you think to yourself, I wish I could be there or that would be

he Lord has continued to open doors for the ministry in the past few months and it has been a joy to see it happen. The club at First Baptist Church continues to grow. We now have 20 children enrolled in this club. Three more children accepted Christ as their Savior in the last few weeks, one of which I had the opportunity to Children at Good News Club 2013 pray with.

Ministry Updates
The children are learning and are excited to attend each week. This club, though, is in need of more volunteers to assist with the ministry each week. Please pray that the Lord will send New Good News Club workers to this field, so that many more children can be Christians who have a desire to reached with the Gospel. Happy Anniversary

it was a good way to celebrate n May 31st, we celebrated our 1 year of ministry. It was 1 year on the mission field. truly a time of refreshing both Over the past year, God has given us many opportunities to reach the children of Hawaii. Prayers & Praises

rayer is our direct communication line to the Lord. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, and claiming dependence upon God. It is a time we use to thank and worship the Lord for what He has done and who He is. It is a time to intercede for others and it so much more. She is a very quiet and happy baby and a blessing to our family.
