OBJECTIVE: Seeking a challenging job in the Bio-Medical Engineering field to sharpen my skills through hands on experience and work for the growth of the industry. CITIZENSHIP: Permanent U.S Resident EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering. Graduated May 2013
Volgenau School of Engineering, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA [GPA : 3.4 ] WORK EXPERIENCE: INTERNSHIP: Krasnow Institute for Research, (SUMMER 2011) Research, Study and Co-author for an Abstract for BMES Conference 2011 about Understanding Dynamics of -Oxygenation and Blood Flow in the Upper Trapeziums Muscle During Exercise The goal of this preliminary study at Krasnow Institute was to understand the dynamics of blood flow and oxygenation in the upper trapeziums muscle group during exercise, identify repeatable measures, and determine baseline values in healthy volunteers PEER ADVISOR: Volgenau School of Engineering at GMU YEARS (2011-2012) Provided guidance to find alternative and easier approaches for students solving problems in (Calculus, Physics and Bio-Medical Engineering) and provide them with different studying techniques to accomplish success in their academic courses. ACADEMIC AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

LONG SEMESTER PROJECT: (SPRING 2011) Modeling and Controlling of Physiological systems Project using Electric Circuits: Analysis of the respiratory mechanics model with the effect of Lung diseases specifically Airway Diseases PROJECT MANAGER: Senior Design Project Micro Power Motion Sensor (SP-FA 2012) To help a multidisciplinary team at NGS that has been studying Environmental Interactions of specific animals, such as predation and social interactions within the group. We design a module containing an inertial measurement sensor, or accelerometer, to identify trigger events when the animals go from no interest behavior to behavior of interest. In as much as the module will appropriately classify these events, it will allow the heavy power draw hardware (video and radio frequency transmitting/receiving components) to rest and conserve power. LONG SEMESTER PROJECT: (SPRING 2013) Nanotechnology : Extensive literature review for "Using Gold Nanorods for Prostate Cancer Treatment " to kill the cancerous cells in the prostate gland. The proposed method is using the heat created by infrared light to destroy these cells. The design is including gold nanorods which contain polyethylene glycol to avoid the complement system and a prostate cancer-specific RNA aptamer to conjugate to PSMA for assure specificity and enhanced cell targeting.
