Conjugacin I was working you were working he was working we were working you were working Significado yo estaba trabajando t estabas trabajando l estaba trabajando nosotros estabamos trabajando vosotros estabais trabajando

There is a book on the table. There are two books on the table. Utilizamos there is cuando el sujeto es: Un sustantivo contable singular: There is an apple in the basket. Normalmente no se utiliza el artculo definido the con there is: *There is the apple in the basket.
Un sustantivo incontable: There is some tea in the pot.
There is ice on the street. Los sustantivos incontables pueden llevar cuantificadores como some, any, much, a lot of etc. 2. Utilizamos there are cuando el sujeto es: Un sustantivo plural: There are two apples in the basket. Importante: Recordad que en ingls los sustantivos irregulares, aunque no lleven la marca s, requieren el acuerdo en plural con el verbo to be: There are a lot of people in the street. There are twenty children in the class. La forma negativa de las expresiones existenciales there is / there are se construye con la partcula negativa not: There isnt any apple in the basket. There arent twenty children in the class. La forma interrogativa se construye mediante una inversin entre el verbo to be y el sujeto postizo there: Is there an apple in the basket? Are there twenty children in the class?
ADJETIVOS DE CANTIDAD
Leave us some apples / Djanos algunas manzanas. I have some money / Tengo algo de dinero Would you like some coffee? Are there any Argentinians here? / Hay algn argentino aqu? There isn't any problem / No hay ningn problema En las frases afirmativas any significa cualquier: Bring me any book you can find / Treme cualquier libro que puedas encontrar 3. Se utiliza 'much' o 'a lot of' cuando el sustantivo es incontable. He has been here many times / Ha estado aqu muchas veces He's got a lot of money / Tiene mucho dinero I haven't drunk much / No he bebido mucho Pueden tambin emplearse expresiones como 'a great deal' (of...) y 'plenty' (of...) con el significado de 'much' I need a great deal of money to travel / Necesito mucho dinero para viajar 'great many'... corresponde al ajetivo espaol muchsimos, y siempre precede a un sustantivo en plural:

The whole world / Todo el mundo, el mundo entero 13. He is strong enough / Es bastante fuerte He has enough money / Tiene bastante dinero
(it wil i..t its fud if it wants) (comer su comida si quiere) -) I wont go on vacations with you next summer. (ai wont gou on vakeishions wid iu next somer) (yo no ir de vacaciones con ustedes el siguiente verano) She wont want to do it. (shi wont want tu du it) (ella no querr hacerlo) ?) Will he watch t. v. Ex: Next week, next month, next year, in 5 years, etc. Ex: +) I will be waiting for you until you arrive. She will be playing the guitar when he comes. (shi wil bi pleing de guitar jwen ji coms) (ella estar tocando la guitarra cuando l venga) Para negar solo se cambia "will" por "wont", y para preguntar primero se pone "will + persona + be + . . .?". Ex: I wont be waiting for you until you arrive. Will she be playing the guitar when he comes?. En ocasiones suceden dos acciones en el futuro al mismo tiempo, en ese caso solo debemos usar los conectores "and", "while (wail) (mientras)", "meanwhile (mi..nwail) (mientras tanto)" o "in the meantime (in de mi..ntaim) (de mientras)".
