Apple Tree, LLC, is a Middleton, Wisconsin-based company in the business of building and selling superior quality single-story condominium homes. We are affiliated with EPCON Communities, Inc, a home-building company with a 20-year successful history of developing lifestyle communities for active adults. Apple Tree is planning aggressive growth over the next several years, and is looking for high-caliber professionals to help lead our team. We are currently looking to hire a Vice President of Operations for the Fox River Valley area. The Vice President of Operations is responsible for providing assistance to the Area Vice President in the day-to-day activities of a designated market area. This includes all aspects of site development, zoning and entitlement, construction, managing vendors, project scheduling, quality control, sales and warranty for all projects in an area. Reports directly to the Area Vice President. Directly supports the Area Vice President in the following areas: Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and motivate all personnel for an assigned market area. Responsible for overall project management, construction, and sales for assigned market area. Ensure that all construction activities and costs are on target and within budget. Manage and direct the activities of construction supervisor(s). Monitor schedules and produces performance reports as requested. Maintain positive customers/contractor relations. Directs all sales activities for an assigned area. This includes motivating sales personnel, monitoring sales performance, conducting regular sales meetings, and scheduling adequate sales coverage. Provide and support training needs in accordance with the Epmark Development System. Communication: Display strong written and oral communication skills. Deploy effective listening skills on a regular basis. Teamwork: Works collaboratively with others to accomplish team objectives. Decision making: Makes sound decisions in a timely manner that encompasses objectives, risks, implications, costs, and values. Education and Experience

4-yr college degree. Desirable study concentration in business management, economics, finance, accounting, construction management, or law. 5 years of successful business results with a production residential homebuilder. Experience in managing multiple development projects Experience or familiarity with real estate sales and marketing Urban planning or engineering experience helpful Strong administrative and management skills Proven ability to build and motivate teams High leadership skills, integrity, and trustworthiness Driven, highly-motivated, confident, and assertive Ambitious, highly motivated, and competitive Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities Friendly and out-going in social contacts.
