Mat 7:13 "Go in through the narrow gate; for the gate that leads to destruction is wide and

the road broad, and many travel it; Mat 7:14 but it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Pro 14:12 There can be a way which seems right to a person, but at it's end are the ways of death.

The question is how much of Babylon do we need to come out of to live a Torah lifestyle in spirit and in Truth?

First: We know in scripture that Babylon is a type and shadow of the World we live in. Babylon is the Worlds System

John 15:19 If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world therefore the world hates you.

Lets look at some Main Stream sects of Religious Beliefs of Babylon. And in the end we will measure them up with the Torah, Writings,Prophets, and Brit Chadasha. We will see just how well some fit into the Word That Yahuah Has laid out for us.

Before we dive into this topic Remember Yahshua said: Do not add to nor take away from the Words in this book.

Rev 22:19 And if anyone takes anything away from the words in the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and the holy city, as described in this book.

Deu 4:2 In order to obey the mitzvot of Adonai your God which I am giving you, do not add to what I am saying, and do not subtract from it.

Jer. 23:28 "If a prophet has a dream, let him tell it as a dream. But someone who has my word should speak my word faithfully. What do chaff and wheat have in common?" asks Adonai.

Lets dig in: Since we are somewhat acquainted with Christianity lets begin with Mainstream Judaism...

So......Judaism has different sects: Orthodox, Modern Orthodox, Haredi, Conservative and Masorti Judaism, And Reform Judaism

Wikipedia: Judaism (from the Latin Iudaismus, derived from the Greek Ioudasmos, and ultimately from the Hebrew , Yehudah, "Judah";[1] in Hebrew: , Yahadut, the distinctive characteristics of the Judean ethnos)[3] is the religion, philosophy and way of life of the Jewish people.[4] A monotheistic religion originating in the Hebrew Bible (also known as the Tanakh) and explored in later texts such as the Talmud, Judaism is considered by religious Jews to be the expression of the covenantal relationship God established with the Children of Israel.[5] Rabbinic Judaism holds that God revealed his laws and commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai in the form of both the Written and Oral Torah.[6] Historically, this assertion was challenged by various groups such as the Sadducees and Hellenistic Judaism during the Second Temple period; the Karaites and Sabbateans during the early and later medieval period;[7] and among segments of the modern reform movements. Liberal movements in modern times such as Humanistic Judaism may be nontheistic.[8]

Judaism claims a historical continuity spanning more than 3,000 years. It is one of the oldest monotheistic religions,[9] and the oldest to survive into the present day.[10] The Hebrews / Israelites were already referred to as "Jews" in later books of the Tanakh such as the Book of Esther, with the term Jews replacing the title "Children of Israel".[11] Judaism's texts, traditions and values strongly influenced later Abrahamic religions, including Christianity, Islam and the Baha'i Faith.[12] Many aspects of Judaism have also directly or indirectly influenced secular Western ethics and civil law.[14]

Jews are an ethnoreligious group and include those born Jewish and converts to Judaism. In 2010, the world Jewish population was estimated at 13.4 million, or roughly 0.2% of the total world population. About 42% of all Jews reside in Israel and about 42% reside in the United States and Canada, with most of the remainder living in Europe.[16] The largest Jewish religious movements are Orthodox Judaism (Haredi Judaism and Modern Orthodox Judaism), Conservative Judaism and Reform Judaism. A major source of difference between these groups is their approach to Jewish law.[17] Orthodox Judaism maintains that the Torah and Jewish law are divine in origin, eternal and unalterable, and that they should be strictly followed. Conservative and Reform Judaism are more liberal, with Conservative Judaism generally promoting a more "traditional" interpretation of Judaism's requirements than Reform Judaism. A typical Reform position is that Jewish law should be viewed as a set of general guidelines rather than as a set of restrictions and obligations whose observance is required of all Jews.[18] Historically, special courts enforced Jewish law; today, these courts still exist but the practice of Judaism is mostly voluntary.[20] Authority on theological and legal matters is not vested in any one person or organization, but in the sacred texts and rabbis and scholars who interpret them.[21]

Sacred Texts could include: Jewish Talmud, Babylonian Talmud, Mishna, Rabbinical Writings. Or the Torah of Moshe

So in line 20 from our Wikipedia site on Judaism we see the word Rabbi. Doesn't that mean just a teacher? Authority on theological and legal matters is not vested in any one person or organization, but in the sacred texts and rabbis and scholars who interpret them.

Rabbi from Wikipedia: In Judaism, a rabbi ( /) is a teacher of Torah. This title derives from the Hebrew word rabi [bi], meaning "My Master" (irregular plural rabanim [bnim] ), which is the way a student would address a master of Torah. The word "master" rav [v] literally means "great one".

The basic form of the rabbi developed in the Pharisaic and Talmudic era, when learned teachers assembled to codify Judaism's written and oral laws.

Wait a minute didnt Yahshua say NOT to call anyone Rabbi?

Mat 23:8 "But you are not to let yourselves be called 'Rabbi'; because you have one Rabbi, and you are all each other's brothers.

You mean I have been calling all of these selfproclaimed Rabbis- Great One?!?

The word rabbi derives from the Semitic root R-B-B, in Hebrew script rav, which in biblical Aramaic means great in many senses, including "revered", but appears primarily as a prefix in construct forms.[3] Although the usage rabbim "many" (as 1 Kings 18:25, " )the majority, the multitude" occurs for the assembly of the community in the Dead Sea scrolls there is no evidence to support an association with the later title "Rabbi."[4] The root is cognate to Arabic rabb, meaning "lord" (generally used when talking about God, but also about temporal lords). As a sign of great respect, some great rabbis are simply called "The Rav".

Rabbi is not an occupation found in the Hebrew Bible, and ancient generations did not employ related titles such as Rabban, Ribbi, or Rab to describe either the Babylonian sages or the sages in Israel.[5] The titles "Rabban" and "Rabbi" are first mentioned in the Mishnah (c. 200 CE). The term was first used for Rabban Gamaliel the elder, Rabban Simeon his son, and Rabban Johanan ben Zakkai, all of whom were patriarchs or presidents of the Sanhedrin.[6] The title "Rabbi" occurs (in Greek transliteration rhabbi) in the books of Matthew, Mark and John in the New Testament, where it is used in reference to "Scribes and Pharisees" as well as to Jesus

So with four different categories of Oral Law what is Oral Law in the First Place?...

The Oral Torah comprises the legal and interpretative traditions that, according to tradition, were transmitted orally from Mount Sinai, and were not written in the Torah . According to Rabbinic Judaism, the oral Torah, oral Law, or oral tradition (Hebrew: , Torah she-be-`al peh) was given by God orally to Moses in conjunction with the written Torah (Hebrew: , Torah she-bi-khtav), after which it was passed down orally through the ages.[1] Later to be codified and written in the Talmud (Hebrew :) . While other cultures and Jewish groups maintained oral traditions, only the Rabbis gave ideological significance to the fact that they transmitted their tradition orally.[3]

There you have it The Oral Law is nothing more than interpretative Traditions....that were transmitted Orally according to... Tradition. Which baits the question: If these laws were only Traditions and not the Word of Yah why should they even matter?

Mat 4:4 But he answered, "The Tanakh says, 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of Adonai' "

...notice He didnt say live by every word of man!

Joh 14:6 Yeshua said, "I AM the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me.

Joh 5:46 For if you really believed Moshe, you would believe me; because it was about me that he wrote.

Mat 23:2 "The Torah-teachers and the P'rushim," he said, "sit in the seat of Moshe. Mat 23:3 So whatever they tell you, take care to do it. But don't do what they do, because they talk but don't act!

Mar 7:13 Thus, with your tradition which you had handed down to you, you nullify the Word of God! And you do other things like this.

Joh 7:16 So Yeshua gave them an answer: "My teaching is not my own, it comes from the One who sent me.

Joh 12:49 For I have not spoken on my own initiative, but the Father who sent me has given me a command, namely, what to say and how to say it.

So now lets look at some of these words a few self proclaimed Great Ones upon their own authority have come up with...

What Jewish Scholars Are Saying:

Rabbi Meir Kahane, told CBS News that his teaching that Arabs are "dogs" is derived "from the Talmud." (CBS 60 Minutes, "Kahane").

University of Jerusalem Prof. Ehud Sprinzak described Kahane and Goldstein's philosophy: "They believe it's God's will that they commit violence against goyim," a Hebrew term for non-Jews. (NY Daily News, Feb. 26, 1994, p. 5).

Rabbi Yitzhak Ginsburg declared, "We have to recognize that Jewish blood and the blood of a goy are not the same thing." (NY Times, June 6, 1989, p.5).

Rabbi Yaacov Perrin said, "One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail." (NY Daily News, Feb. 28, 1994, p.6).

It is no coincidence that The Oral Law, that has been penned down through the centuries has major flaws! Only the Word of Yah is pure and Holy.....set apart For His purpose! Not the purpose of mans own agenda. Or personal gain!

Joh 3:17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but rather so that through him, the world might be saved.

Wait there is more...

Noahide laws Wikipedia: In Judaism, the Seven Laws of Noah (Hebrew: Sheva mitzvot B'nei Noach) form the major part of the Noachide Laws, or Noahide Code.[1] This code is a set of moral imperatives that, according to the Talmud, were given by God as a binding set of laws for the "children of Noah" that is, all of humankind.[3] According to religious Judaism, any non-Jew who adheres to these laws is regarded as a righteous gentile, and is assured of a place in the World to Come (Olam Haba), the final reward of the righteous.[5] Adherents are often called " B'nei Noach" (Children of Noah) or "Noahides" and may often network in Jewish synagogues

The seven laws listed by the Tosefta and the Talmud are[7] Prohibition of Idolatry Prohibition of Murder Prohibition of Theft Prohibition of Sexual immorality Prohibition of Blasphemy Prohibition of eating flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive Establishment of courts of law

Noachide Laws comprise the six laws which were given to Adam in the Garden of Eden, according to the Talmud's interpretation of Gen 2:16,[8] and a seventh one, which was added after the Flood of Noah. According to rabbinic Judaism, the 613 mitzvot or "commandments" given in the written Torah, as well as their reasonings in the oral Torah, were issued to the Jews only, and are therefore binding only upon them, having inherited the obligation from their ancestors.

..do you get that Jews Only. They ONLY get the Torah....you Goy get the Noahide laws. And you sit in the back of the synagogue by the way...

From the Jewish virtual Library: When going to a synagogue, you should dress as you would for church: nicely, formally, and modestly. A man should wear a yarmulke (skullcap) if Jewish men in the congregation do so; yarmulkes are available at the entrance for those who do not have one. In some synagogues, married women should also wear a head covering. A piece of lace sometimes called a "chapel hat" is generally provided for this purpose in synagogues where this is required. Non-Jews should not, however, wear a tallit (prayer shawl) or tefillin, because these items are signs of our obligation to observe Jewish law. If you are in an Orthodox synagogue, be careful to sit in the right section: men and women are seated separately in an Orthodox synagogue.

During services, non-Jews can follow along with the English, which is normally printed side-by-side with the Hebrew in the prayerbook. You may join in with as much or as little of the prayer service as you feel comfortable participating in. You may wish to review Jewish Liturgy before attending the service, to gain a better understanding of what is going on.

Non-Jews should stand whenever the Ark is open and when the Torah is carried to or from the Ark, as a sign of respect for the Torah and for G-d. At any other time where worshipers stand, nonJews may stand or sit.

The Torah of Yah alone is our Fence of protection. Not man's Torah on Top of Yah's Torah to keep us from doing any evil. Yah has never needed our help in anyway. Its only by human logic and rational that we have come up with these silly ideas that we can assist Yah with His own Words.

Ok....Something that I have to ask. What is up with all of the blanks on pages where the name of Yah is placed? Like G-d, or HaShem, or YHWH. I do believe that most people get the point in the whom your eluding to. But what does Yashua say about being ashamed of him?....

Luk 9:26 For if someone is ashamed of me and of what I say, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and that of the Father and of the holy angels.

Ok...IF, we are ashamed of Him and what He says....Then He will be ashamed of us before His Father and His Holy Angles... Right?

Joh 5:43 I have come in my Father's name, and you don't accept me; if someone else comes in his own name, him you will accept.

Who comes in their own name on their own account? Man....

Jer 8:8 " 'How can you say, "We are wise; Adonai's Torah is with us," when in fact the lying pen of the scribes has turned it into falsehood? What kind of falsehood? Im glad you asked!

"The [Seleucid] Greeks decreed that the name of God may not be spoken aloud; but when the Hasmoneans grew in strength and defeated them they decreed that the name of God be used even in contracts... when the Rabbis heard about this they said, 'Tomorrow this person will pay his debt and the contract will be thrown on a garbage heap' so they forbade its use in contracts." (Babylonian Talmud, Rosh Hashannah 18b)

Anyone who speaks aloud the M[ost] Holy Name of God, [whether in... ] or in cursing or as a blurt in time of trial or for any other reason, or while he is reading a book or praying, is to be expelled, never again to return to the body of the community. (1QS 6:27-7:2)

The Talmud seems to understand the word "vain" as "without good reason". This is the explanation offered by the 13th Century Rabbanite exegete Nachmanides who writes: The plain meaning [of the verse] is that it is also forbidden to speak the honorable name for no reason ( ) ... in truth this is also forbidden and the sages called this He that speaks the name of God without good reason (in reference to Do not take Yahs name in vain) ) ). (Ramban on Ex 20:7)

Josephus writes... "What I would now explain is this, that the Pharisees have delivered to the people a great many observances by succession from their fathers, which are not written in the laws of Moses; and for that reason it is that the Sadducees reject them, and say that we are to esteem those observances to be obligatory which are in the written word, but are not to observe what are derived from the tradition of our forefathers." (Josephus Flavius, Antiquities of the Jews 13.10.6

In the days of Darkness... Joe 2:31 (3:4) The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and terrible Day of Adonai." Joe 2:32 (3:5) At that time, whoever calls on the name of Adonai will be saved. For in Mount Tziyon and Yerushalayim there will be those who escape, as Adonai has promised; among the survivors will be those whom Adonai has called.

Deu 6:13 You are to fear Adonai your God, serve him and swear by his name. Deu 10:20 You are to fear Adonai your God, serve him, cling to him and swear by his name.

Jer 12:16 Then, if they will carefully learn my people's ways, swearing by my name, 'As Adonai lives,' just as they taught my people to swear by Ba`al, they will be built up among my people.

Num 6:22 Adonai said to Moshe, Num 6:23 "Speak to Aharon and his sons, and tell them that this is how you are to bless the people of Isra'el: you are to say to them, Num 6:24 'Y'varekh'kha Adonai v'yishmerekha. [May Adonai bless you and keep you.] Num 6:25 Ya'er Adonai panav eleikha vichunekka. [May Adonai make his face shine on you and show you his favor.] Num 6:26 Yissa Adonai panav eleikha v'yasem l'kha shalom. [May Adonai lift up his face toward you and give you peace.]' Num 6:27 "In this way they are to put my name on the people of Isra'el, so that I will bless them."

Let us conclude on a good note....
