Creando la intencin para la unidad de consciencia de la Novena Onda del calendario Maya! En aos recientes ha habido un aumento radical en el inters del calendario Maya y especialmente su final y muchos preguntan que es lo que nos dice esto acerca del futuro. Sorprendentemente, muchas gentes hacen esta pregunta como si la respuesta no tiene nada que ver con ellos o con las elecciones que hacen. Pocos parecen haber considerado que el cumplimiento del plan csmico va a requerir que ellos tomen la responsabilidad del papel de co-creadores con este plan divino. Esto no quiere decir que los seres humanos pueden crear cualquier cosa que quieran en cualquier momento. Las ondas de consciencia tradas por el calendario Maya todava definen el marco de nuestra existencia y lo que podemos o tal vez no podemos crear en una era dada. Sin embargo, solo la creatividad que es consistente con una onda nueva ser favorecida y esto otra vez ser evidente a medida que entramos a la novena y ms alta de las ondas del sistema del calendario Maya. Es por lo tanto pertinente el preguntar que conciencia va a crear la novena onda y que es lo que requerir de nosotros para poder tomar la responsabilidad de convertirnos en co-creadores con esta onda. Para lidiar con esto necesitamos consultar a los Maya antiguos y estudiar a su nica inscripcin que describe el significado del final del calendario, el Monumento 6 de Tortuguero. Este dice que en ese momento del tiempo la entidad de nueve peldaos, Boln Yookte, (Fig. 1) descender.* Lo que esto significa en un lenguaje ms directo es que la combinacin de las nueve fuerzas csmicas, nueve movimientos de onda, se manifestarn por completo simultneamente. Por lo tanto en esta forma Maya de ver el significado del final del calendario no hay nada que hable de un final del mundo. En vez, a lo que el final del sistema del calendario se refiere es a la finalizacin o el cumplimiento, de procesos evolucionarios que han estado pasando desde el principio del tiempo y han guiado al mundo a llegar a lo que es hoy en da. Estas nueve fuerzas csmicas so las nueve progresiones evolucionarias (Inframundos), cada una a travs de trece energas que es de lo que est compuesto el sistema proftico del calendario Maya, un sistema, en el cual los eventos significantes en la evolucin biolgica e histrica estn extremadamente bien correlacionados. Las progresiones diferentes de cada una desarrollan un cuadro de conciencia diferente y actualmente estamos muy fuertemente influenciados por la octava onda. Es sin embargo

la novena y la ms alta de estos movimientos de onda la que traer el cambio final a la unidad de consciencia que culminar a medida que el calendario llega al final. Creo que es imperativo el darse cuenta que stas nueve fuerzas csmicas no estn actuando separadamente de los seres humanos, sin no que a travs de su influencia con nosotros y que por lo tanto solo se manifestarn en la medida en que los humanos se alineen con stas. Tambin creo que necesitamos considerar que la co-creacin de este nivel ms alto requiere que en verdad estemos comprometidos a su propsito. Es en la preparacin de esta un poco misteriosa novena onda que estoy animando a la celebracin de la Convergencia Conciente, el 17-18 de Julio, 2010, como un punto para enfocarse en alinearse con la onda ms alta y decisiva del sistema del calendario Maya, la novena onda. Mucha gente tiene un sentido intuitivo que el final del calendario Maya traer un cambio en la conciencia. Sin embargo, esto raramente est afirmado con claridad o se ha explicado exactamente cul es la fuente de tal cambio, como va a aparecer o cual es su naturaleza. Sin embargo, tal vez de la manera en que cambian en la conciencia son actualmente un poquito menos misteriosos de lo que la gente tiende a creer. De hecho, los cambios de conciencia han venido sucediendo desde el principio del tiempo y continuarn sucediendo en cualquier momento en que haya un cambio de energa significante en el calendario Maya tal como esos de entre cualquiera de sus das y sus noches.

A pesar de todos esos previos cambios en la historia csmica yo creo sin embargo que hay algo muy especial y significante con la nueva conciencia que pueda esperarse a ser generado por la novena onda. Para empezar, al parecer est diseada para traer un cambio a la unidad de la consciencia en donde la mente humana ya no estar dominada por un filtro oscuro (vase Fig. 2). En otras palabras vamos a hacernos transparentes y creo que esta es la conciencia particular ver la realidad de la manera que es sin separacin lo que tantos estn esperando. No solo cualquier consciencia, sino la que va ms all de las dualidades del pasado y ayuda a los seres humanos a ver la unidad de todas las cosas. La razn que este tipo de unidad de conciencia puede ser beneficiaria al planeta, y a la humanidad, es que por que lleva a la transcendencia de toda separacin (entre el hombre y la mujer, el hombre y la naturaleza, el que es gobernado y el que gobierna, el este y el oeste, etc.) Creo que sin la manifestacin de tal cambio en conciencia el mundo va tarde o temprano a terminar. Las gentes con consciencias dualistas y separatistas son parecidas a las clulas del cncer en el cuerpo de la Tierra con poquito respeto a su todo ms grande y eventualmente generarn un derrumbe de su ecosistema. Solo un cambio a la unidad de consciencia va a parar para siempre la explotacin sin control de la Tierra y a un nivel ms profundo nos har comprender que somos parte de la creacin y necesitamos vivir en armona con sta. Pero suceder tal cambio as automticamente?

Onda: Conciencia de Unidad Iluminada Tal como se mencion arriba los cambios de conciencia global tienen su origen en la resonancia con las fuerzas csmicas descritas por el calendario Maya. Por lo tanto, aunque algunos podran haber experimentado temporalmente estados alterados de conciencia, es tan solo as como un cambio es inducido de acuerdo con el plan csmico, es as como podramos comprender esto del calendario Maya, que est aqu para quedarse. Por lo tanto, solo con la novena onda podra un cambio a la unidad de conciencia ser considerado como algo al que le ha llegado su tiempo. Esta es la onda que va a terminar todo lo de las evoluciones previas de la humanidad y va a construir el puente que nos permitir entrar al nuevo mundo que va a seguir despus del final del calendario. Por el otro lado el estudiante del calendario Maya sabr que para que se manifieste un cambio conciente los seres humanos deben estar en resonancia con ste y en un momento por lo menos en el subconsciente haber hecho un eleccin para alinearse con ste. Por lo tanto, un cambio de conciencia en gran escala no es algo que sucede en contra de la voluntad de los seres humanos. Especialmente en los niveles ms altos de evolucin, tal como el noveno, este solo puede suceder a travs de seres humanos que elijen servir como co-creadores. Desafortunadamente muchos han sido llevados a creer que hay un tipo de efecto fsico que se deba esperar, tal como el cambio del polos, Nibiru, erupcin solar, o un alineamiento galctico, resultando en una actitud pasiva que ha hecho que el calendario Maya parezca que le quita poderes y a los eventos como estando fuera de su poder para

poderlos influenciar. Creo, sin embargo, que as como dicen los Hopi, nosotros somos a los que hemos estado esperando. Si hacemos el compromiso de hacerlo para que podamos co-crear unidad de consciencia con la novena onda. As como mucho de los lectores de este articulo lo pueden haber experimentado hay prcticas espirituales, tcnicas de sanacin y mtodos para desarrollo personal que de por hecho causan cambios temporales en la conciencia y la experiencia de unidad de todas las cosas. Sin embargo, lo que parece que hace falta para que tal transformacin juegue un papel positivo en una escala mayor es el compromiso de una masa crtica de gente para crear un mundo basado en tal unidad de conciencia. La idea detrs de la Convergencia de Conciencia, 17-18 de Julio, 2010, es por lo tanto el crear una intencin poderosa para hacerlo. Hay de por cierto una cosa que siempre est dentro de nuestro poder para hacer y en el poder de todos los seres humanos para que lo hagan y esto es el intentar crear y manifestar unidad de conciencia. As como el estudiante de la ley de la atraccin sabr, toda manifestacin empieza con una intencin y sin una intencin no hay resultado. La Convergencia de Conciencia Una Onda de Unidad es por lo tanto para todos esos que intentan manifestar la unidad de conciencia. (Podra ser importante el sealar que no es acerca de tener la intencin de un cambio de conciencia, sino de unidad de conciencia). Es para los que autnticamente dirn: Yo tengo la intencin de manifestar la unidad de conciencia.) Cualquiera que sea en lo que crea, cualquiera que sea la opinin que tenga acerca del mundo, est todava en su poder el tener la intencin de tal cambio para ustedes mismos y los otros. Las fechas propuestas son propicias para fijar la intencin de hacerlo por que este lleva a la manifestacin de la unidad de conciencia durante la novena onda en alineamiento con el plan csmico. Sin tal atencin generalizada es dudoso de que vaya haber un cambio en este planeta ya sea individualmente o colectivamente. Basada en la creacin de tal intencin en la Convergencia de Conciencia parece natural que la gente tambin va a querer hacer ceremonias y participar en prcticas espirituales que son manifestaciones de tal unidad de conciencia y a buscan cualquier manera posible para hacer que estos resultados sean permanentes. De hecho la Convergencia de Conciencia se debera ver as como el principio de un proceso para profundizar una unidad de conciencia que nunca para. Este es el tipo de compromiso que yo creo que ser requerido. Para esos que quieren cumplir el plan csmico, la Convergencia de Conciencia debera ser un punto de entrada para co-crear la novena onda y algo que nunca queramos dejar de hacer. El empezar a seguir el calendario Maya diariamente desde este punto dentro del cuadro provedo por la novena Onda podra en hecho ser en si mismo un factor significante para desarrollar la unidad de conciencia. Solo con plazo de tope se hacen reales los proyectos y el calendario nos provee con un cuadro de tiempo dentro del cual esto se puede realizar. Parece importante que las manifestaciones conectadas a la Convergencia de Conciencia sean planeadas muy cuidadosamente y que expresen esta nueva unidad de conciencia as que estas no son las expresiones del viejo mundo en el que hemos estado viviendo aplicadas con ligereza. Si por ejemplo, las funciones artsticas son parte de la celebracin, seria sabio tomar en cuenta si estas estn aumentando la experiencia de unidad del todo o si estn crean una experiencia de separacin entre los artistas y la audiencia. Lo mismo se podra aplicar a la celebracin de ceremonias si el dirigente no los est incluyendo verdaderamente. Un buen ejemplo de ceremonia que es una expresin de unidad de conciencia en mi mente es cuando Jack Sully en Avatar es llevado como miembro a la gente de Pandora. Adems, si para la generacin de unidad de conciencia las prcticas espirituales valiosas son usadas podra ser considerado irrelevante si se excluye o no el adorar a los

fundadores o gurs. Tal vez las prcticas comunes silenciosas y discretas son de por si las manifestaciones ms poderosas de la unidad de conciencia, pero sea lo que sea es importante que los participantes hagan lo que digan y que no re-creen estructuras dominantes. Como se hace esto es algo para que los organizadores locales lo decidan y aqu solo se enfatiza la importancia de abordar este tema con ojos frescos y de prestarle mucha atencin a los detalles. El nombre de Convergencia Conciente alude a la Convergencia Armnica, una reunin que abri las mentes el 17-18 de Agosto, 1987 (1 Imix y 2 Ik) as que es importante el sealar la relacin entre las dos y el porqu despus de tantos aos hay una segunda, el 17 18 de Julio, 2010, (13 Eb y 1 Ben).** Lo importante que hay en comn entre las dos Convergencias es que ambas estn (esencialmente) puestas en el tiempo de un doblamiento del movimiento de la 8va y 9na. Onda del calendario Maya y por lo tanto reflejan los cambios de energa que anuncian las transformaciones respectivas de la conciencia que trajeron a estas ondas. Dicho de otra manera: Lo que la Convergencia Armnica signific para el salto cuntico a la octava onda lo significar la Convergencia de Conciencia para el salto cuntico a la novena onda. *** (Por lo tanto, se podra comprender como una 2da Convergencia Armnica). O, si incluyramos a la sptima onda y su pre-onda (vase Fig. 3) como comparacin, podramos ver lo que significa para la preparacin a la nueva onda lo que el Renacimiento Europeo signific para el salto cuntico al mundo moderno del industrialismo. Lo que es diferente ahora, y un reto para la Convergencia de Conciencia, es que este peldao no puede decirse que sea para el inters de los individuos separados si no que es para toda la humanidad.

De estos paralelos (Fig. 3) podemos ver que la Convergencia de Conciencia no es en s el principio de la novena onda, que no empieza hasta el 29 de marzo, 2011.**** En vez sta celebracin inicia una onda, la pre-onda, que precede y pavimenta el piso para la novena onda y la lleva directamente hacia sta. La Convergencia de Conciencia es por lo tanto tremendamente importante como un punto para crear la intencin de unidad de conciencia no importa que ste se desarrollara completamente ms tarde con la novena onda. Tal vez ser de por hecho la ltima oportunidad que para fijar tal intencin, que casi con necesidad debe existir en un punto temprano si es que nos tenemos que elevar a nosotros mismos ms arriba del caos econmico que podemos esperar en los aos por venir. En mi propio punto de vista la esperanza para el futuro yace exactamente en el aprender a surfear en esta novena onda y as transcender, en vez de que nos atrapemos en, todas las dualidades y conflictos de los Inframundos ms bajos. Si esto es as tambin se debe esperar que la Convergencia de Conciencia se enfrentar con mucha resistencia de todas esas fuerzas que estn defendiendo a la operacin basada en el ego del viejo mundo y de las jerarquas masivas que sta ha generado. Un pequeo ejemplo de esto es que ha surgido una industria de la media comercial alrededor del 2012 en donde es especulado acerca de lo que va a pasar como si esto fuera independiente de las intenciones y la direccin creativa que la gente elije. Naturalmente tambin nos vamos a enfrentar con nuestro propio cinicismo y apata hacia el estado del mundo y los pensamientos regresarn a nosotros como: esto no es posible, el mundo no va a cambiar, etc., y es por esta razn que se necesita un compromiso muy fuerte.

La Convergencia de Conciencia est supuesta a ser un evento muy inclusivo que puede ser abrazado por todo el mundo que tiene intencin de que surja la unidad de conciencia no importa cules sean sus puntos de vistas acerca del calendario maya o de cualquier otro. Es acerca del usar una ventana de oportunidad positiva y constructivamente y as que la participacin en esto solo requiere un entendimiento del cambio de conciencia a salir del proceso evolucionario del que somos parte en la actualidad. As que, un cambo de unidad de conciencia no es algo que simplemente nos cae encima del cielo en una fecha futura, sino que solo puede salir del proceso evolucionario del que somos parte en la actualidad. Es un principio bsico de la ley de la atraccin que la providencia solo se mueve cuando usted est comprometido y hasta este momento el compromiso para una transicin a la unidad de conciencia no ha surgido en gran escala o ni siquiera ha sido previamente propuesto. Para que este evento tenga xito generando la intencin para el cambio de conciencia de la novena onda una participacin masiva en este tambin sera deseable en sus etapas preparatorias. Los esfuerzos preparatorios deben ser compartidos por los millones que intentan un cambio de conciencia para que ste suceda. Para poder atraerla ser necesario un esfuerzo colectivo y el ya haber elegido en participar es parte de crear la intencin que se ha estado discutiendo aqu. Al principio, habr una gran necesidad de que la gente tome iniciativas para diseminar el llamado para la Convergencia de Conciencia por todo el mundo. Es importante el acercarse a las organizaciones para que estas lo adopten. Luego habr necesidad de que la gente haga que su contribucin nica sea reconocida por medio de sitios web pblicos, de la media social y de otras redes de comunicacin. Tambin existir la necesidad de financiar muchos aspectos de las actividades y a los trabajadores, lo que se puede hacer por medio de: www.CommonPassion.org, una corporacin 501c3 de beneficio pblico sin fines de lucro. Luego, habr una necesidad para planeacin creativa de eventos y la creacin de una red de comunicacin entre estos. Los individuos y las organizaciones que deseen participar en este programa global estn invitados a unirse a la discusin de los detalles de la intencin compartida y para conectarse con otros alrededor del mundo que estarn co-creando sta onda intencional de unidad de conciencia. Un foro de discusin ya se ha iniciado en: http://forum.commonpassion.org/viewforum.php?id=50. Mi propio punto de vista es que sta es la ltima oportunidad que los seres humanos van a tener para que verdaderamente se alineen ellos mismos con el plan csmico. Es ahora o nunca y si no cree que la Convergencia de Conciencia tiene que ver con usted, probablemente no ha estudiado el calendario maya de una manera suficientemente seria. Por lo tanto, no podr haber representantes para su participacin en la transformacin del mundo a medida que el calendario llega a su final. El descenso final de Boln Yookte, las Nueve Ondas (los Nueve Seores del Tiempo o los Nueve Inframundos, o cualquier nombre que prefiera) esta por caernos encima y no es sin razn el por que el nmero nueve es sagrado en tantas tradiciones espirituales. El es autor de The Purposeful Universe (Inner Traditions, 2009 posible titulo en Espaol El Universo con Propsito) un libro que presenta una teora nueva de la evolucin biolgica basada en el rbol de Vida Csmico. El di su primera charla con la mencin del final del calendario maya en 1979 y es el nico cientfico profesional que ha estudiado el significado del calendario Maya (muchos Mayanistas profesionales han estudiado el calendario como tal, pero no su realidad basada en la evolucin biolgica e histrica). El es, entre otras cosas, el autor de Solving the Greatest Mystery of Our Time: The Mayan Calendar -(Garev, 2001 posible ttulo en Espaol: Resolviendo el Misterio Ms grande de Nuestros Tiempos: El Calendario Maya) y The Mayan calendar and the Transformacin of Consciousness (Inner Traditions, 2004- El Calendario Maya y la Transformacin de la Conciencia). Sin embargo, deberamos ponerle atencin al da tzolkin del evento. Por lo tanto, el 17 de Julio, 2010 es 13 Eb, uno de los ms misteriosos signos del da que es traducido tpicamente como El Camino o la Grama y, como est vinculado con el nmero 13, ese da es muy tpico del signo del da Eb. Camino se refiere generalmente al camino de la vida o el camino hacia la pirmide csmica y la grama se refiere a un evento local. Tpicamente la gente nacida bajo el signo de este da es esa que est preocupada por las siete generaciones hacia el futuro, hacen mucho bien, pero no buscan el estar ellos mismos en primera plana.

*** Esta no es la Convergencia Armnica que fu originalmente comprendida por Tony Shearer y Jos Argelles. Shearer, un Nativo Americano, quien fu el primero que propuso las fechas, vi la Convergencia Armnica como el punto final de los Trece Cielos empezando en el A.D. 843 y los Nueve Infiernos (perodos de 52 aos) que haban seguido la llegada de Hernn Cortez en Veracruz en 1519 y Argelles promovi sta intriga en el Mayan Factor (el Factor Maya). Mientras que esto pudo haber servido como una profeca guiadora que intuitivamente llevo a la identificacin de las fechas de la Convergencia Armnica como el 16-17 de Agosto, 1987 (1 Lagarto y 2 Viento), en mi opinin casi no sirve de comprendimiento teortico del porqu estas fechas eran en actualidad energticamente importantes. As que la Convergencia Armnica fu definida ms como mito que como ciencia, pues el conocimiento del calendario Maya basado en la realidad casi no exista.

Sabemos por las fuentes maya que el 13+9 no es considerado como una secuencia linear, sino que cada uno de los Nueve Inframundos estaba compuesto de Trece Cielos (As, que de acuerdo con los libros Maya Books of Chilam Balam Libros de Chilam Balam los nueve seores del tiempo (Bolon-ti-ku) tomaron a los trece seores del tiempo (Oxlahun-ti-ku)asi que la creacin tiene una estructura de pirmide integral en vez de linear. Ya sea que la gene est conciente de sto o no, la evolucin entera del cosmos desde el Big Bang (la Gran Explosin) tambin ha sido bien meticulosamente mapeada debido al calendario Maya y verificada por una evidencia emprica masiva. **** Probablemente yo debo haber contribuido en s a la confusin que existe en cuanto a la fecha del comienzo del Movimiento de la onda Universal y he dado tiempos diferentes para esto. Lo que sabemos es que el calendario se desarrolla de acuerdo a los nueve movimientos de onda, en donde el ms largo regresa hasta el nacimiento del universo, y todas estas son diferentes entre s por un factor de veinte. De acuerdo a tal punto de vista fractal del calendario Maya del sistema proftico la novena onda seria entonces solo de 234 das constituida por 13 perodos de uaxaclahunkin (18 das) diferentes. Esto pone el principio de la novena onda el 9 de Marzo, 2011 y el de la onda precedente (Convergencia de la Conciencia) el 17 de Julio, 2010. The Mayan calendar is about you. According to the ancient Maya the creation of the universe is effected by nine waves. We are now approaching the end of the eighth wave and, on top of this, the activation of the ninth and highest level that will cap off the evolution of the universe. This ninth level of the universe is designed to generate unity consciousness. The manifestation of the unity consciousness brought by the ninth level will require an intention on the part of the human beings to co-create this. The Conscious Convergence, July 17-18, 2010, is for those that are willing to set the intention to create unity consciousness in the ninth wave of the Mayan calendar system.

Creating the intention for the unity consciousness of the Ninth Wave of the Mayan calendar! In recent years there has been a radically increased interest in the Mayan calendar and especially its end and so many ask what this tells us about the future. Surprisingly, many people ask this question as if the answer had nothing to do with themselves or the choices they make. Few seem to have considered that the fulfillment of the cosmic plan will require of them to step up to the role of co-creators with this divine plan. This is not to say that human beings can just create anything they want at any point in time. The waves of consciousness brought by the Mayan calendar still defines the framework of our existence and what we may or may not be able to create in any given era. Yet, only the creativity that is consistent with a new wave will be favored and this will again be evident as we enter the ninth, and highest, wave of the Mayan calendar system. It is thus pertinent to ask what consciousness the ninth wave will create and what it will require of us to be able to step up to becoming co-creators with this wave. To address this we need to consult the ancient Maya and look at their only inscription, which describes the meaning of the end of their calendar, the Tortuguero Monument 6. This says that at that point in time the nine-step entity, Bolon Yookte, (Fig 1) will descend.* What this means in a more straight language is that a combination of nine cosmic forces, nine wave movements, will simultaneously manifest fully. In this ancient Mayan way of looking at the meaning of the end of the calendar there is thus nothing that speaks of an end to the world. Rather, what the end of the calendar system is all about is a completion, or fulfillment, of evolutionary processes that have been going on from the beginning of time and led the world to what it is today. These nine cosmic forces are the nine evolutionary progressions (Underworlds), each through thirteen energies that the prophetic Mayan calendar system is made up from, a system, which significant events in biological and historical evolution correlate extremely well with. The different progressions each develop a different frame of consciousness and currently we are most strongly influenced by the eighth wave. It is however the ninth and highest of these wave

movements that will bring about the final shift to unity consciousness that will culminate as the calendar comes to an end. I feel it is imperative to realize that these nine cosmic forces are not acting separately from the human beings, but through their influence on us and so they will only manifest inasmuch as the humans align with them. I feel we also need to consider that the cocreation of this highest level requires that we are truly committed to its purpose. It is in preparation of this somewhat mysterious ninth wave that I am encouraging the celebration of the Conscious Convergence, July 17-18, 2010, as a point to focus on aligning with the highest and decisive wave of the Mayan calendar system, the ninth wave. Many people have an intuitive sense that the end of the Mayan calendar will bring a shift in consciousness. Yet, it is rarely clearly stated or explained exactly what is the source of such a shift, how it will happen or what would be its nature. Maybe however shifts in consciousness are actually a little less mysterious than many people tend to believe. In fact, shifts in consciousness have been happening from the beginning of time and continue to happen whenever there is a significant energy shift in the Mayan calendar, such as between any of its days and nights.

Despite all these previous shifts in cosmic history I feel however that there is something very special and significant with the new consciousness that may be expected to be generated by the ninth wave. To begin with, for all that we know it is designed to bring a shift to unity consciousness where

the human mind no longer will be dominated by any dark filter (see Fig 2). We will in other words become transparent and I believe this is the particular consciousness seeing reality the way it is with no separation - that so many are waiting for. Not just any consciousness, but one that transcends the dualities of the past and aids the human beings to see the unity of all things. The reason that this kind of unity consciousness can be beneficial to the planet, and to mankind, is that it is one that leads to the transcendence of all separation (between man and woman, man and nature, ruler and ruled, east and west, etc). I feel that without the manifestation of such a shift in consciousness the world will sooner or later come to an end. People with a dualist and separating consciousness are somewhat like cancer cells in the body of the Earth with little regard to its larger whole and would eventually generate a collapse of its ecosystem. Only a shift to unity consciousness will forever stop the unchecked exploitation of the Earth and on a deeper level make us understand that we are part of creation and need to live in harmony with it. But will such a shift just happen automatically?

As mentioned above global consciousness shifts have their origin in the resonance with the cosmic forces described by the Mayan calendar. Hence, even though some may temporarily have experienced altered states of consciousness it is only in as much as a shift is induced in accordance with the cosmic plan, as we may understand this from the Mayan calendar, that it will be here to stay. Thus, only with the ninth wave may a shift to unity consciousness be regarded as something whose time has truly come. This is the wave that will cap off all of the previous evolution of mankind and build the bridge that will allow us to enter the new world that will follow upon the end of the calendar.

On the other hand the student of the Mayan calendar will know that in order for a consciousness shift to manifest the human beings must be in resonance with it and at some point at least subconsciously have made a choice to align with. Hence, a large-scale consciousness shift is not something that can happen against the will of the human beings. Especially at the highest levels of evolution, such as the ninth, it can only happen through human beings that choose to serve as co-creators. Unfortunately many have been led to believe that there is some physical event to wait for, such as a pole shift, Nibiru, sun flares, or a galactic alignment, resulting in a passive attitude that has made the Mayan calendar seem disempowering and events as being outside of their power to influence. I believe however that, as the Hopi are saying, we are the ones that we have been waiting for. If we make the commitment to do so we can co-create unity consciousness with the ninth wave. As many readers of this article may have experienced there are spiritual practices, healing techniques and methods for personal development that in fact do cause temporary shifts in consciousness and the experience of unity of all things. Yet, what seems to be missing for such transformations to play a positive role on a larger scale is the commitment of a critical mass of people to create a world based on such unity consciousness. The idea behind the Conscious Convergence, July 17-18, 2010, is thus to create a powerful intention to do so. There is in fact one thing that is always in our power to do and in the power of all human beings to do - and this is to intend to create and manifest unity consciousness. As the student of the law of attraction will know, all manifestation begins with an intention and without an intention there is no result. The Conscious Convergence A Wave of Unity is thus for all those who intend to manifest unity consciousness. (It may be important to point out that it is not about intending any shift of consciousness, but one to unity consciousness). It is for those who authentically will say: I intend to manifest unity consciousness. Whatever you believe in, whatever worldview you have, it is still in your power to intend such a shift for yourself and others. The proposed dates are timely for setting the intention to do so in that it leads up to a manifestation of unity consciousness during the ninth wave in alignment with the cosmic plan. Without such a widespread intention it is doubtful whether there will ever be such a shift on this planet either individually or collectively. Based on the creation of such an intention in the Conscious Convergence it seems natural that people will also want to perform ceremonies and participate in spiritual practices that are manifestations of such a unity consciousness and seek whatever ways are possible to make permanent its results. In fact the Conscious Convergence should be looked upon as the beginning of a process toward deepened unity consciousness that never stops. This is the kind of commitment that I believe will be required. For those desiring to fulfill the cosmic plan, the Conscious Convergence should be an entry point to co-creating the ninth wave and something we should never want to drop out of. To start following the Mayan calendar on a daily basis from this point within the framework provided by the Ninth wave may in fact by itself be a significant factor for developing unity consciousness. Only with deadlines do projects become real and the calendar provides us with a time frame within which this is to be accomplished. It seems important that manifestations linked to the Conscious Convergence are planned very carefully and express this new unity consciousness so that they are not just thoughtlessly applied expressions of the old world we have been living in. If, for instance, artistic performances are part of the celebration, it seems wise to consider whether these are enhancing the experience of unity of all or if they create an experience of separation between the artists and the audience. The

same may apply to the performance of ceremonies if the leader is not truly inclusive. A good example of a ceremony that is an expression of unity consciousness is in my mind when Jack Sully in Avatar is taken up as a member of the people of Pandora. Furthermore, if for the generation of unity consciousness valuable spiritual practices are used it may be considered whether irrelevant worship of founders or gurus can be excluded. Maybe silent and low key common practices are in fact the most powerful manifestations of unity consciousness, but regardless it is important that participants walk their talk and do not recreate dominance structures. How to do this would be for local organizers to decide and here it is only emphasized the importance of approaching this issue with fresh eyes and much attention paid to details. The name Conscious Convergence alludes to the Harmonic Convergence, a mind-opening gathering on August 17-18, 1987 (1 Imix and 2 Ik) and so it is important to point out the relationship between the two and why after so many years there is a second one, July 17-18, 2010 (13 Eb and 1 Ben)**. The important commonality between the two Convergences is that they both are (essentially) placed in time at a doubling of the 8th and 9th wave movements of the Mayan calendar and hence reflect energy shifts that herald the respective transformations of consciousness brought by these waves. Put in other terms: What the Harmonic Convergence meant to the quantum jump to the eighth wave the Conscious Convergence will mean to the quantum jump to the ninth wave.*** (Hence, it can be understood as a 2nd Harmonic Convergence). Or, if we include the seventh wave and its pre-wave (see Fig 3) for comparison, we may see that it will mean to the preparation for the ninth wave what the European Renaissance meant to the quantum jump to the modern world of industrialism. What is different now, and a challenge for the Conscious Convergence, is that this step cannot be said to be in the interest of separate individuals, but rather of all of humanity.

Examples of how the visions at the beginning of the pre-wave prepares for the full wave consider how the many inventions (on paper) by Leonardo da Vinci around 1498 presaged the real industrial inventions of the 7th wave or how the Harmonic Convergence presaged the much increased interest in the Mayan calendar in the 8th wave. From these parallels (Fig 3) we may see that the Conscious Convergence is not by itself the beginning of the ninth wave, which does not start until Mar 9, 2011.**** Rather this celebration initiates a wave, a pre-wave, that precedes and paves the ground for the ninth wave and directly leads into it. The Conscious Convergence is thus tremendously important as a point for creating the intention of unity consciousness even if this will only be fully developed later with the ninth wave. Maybe it will in fact be humanitys last chance of setting such an intention, which almost with necessity must exist at an early point if we are to elevate ourselves above the economic chaos that we may expect in the years ahead. In my own view the hope for the future lies exactly in learning to surf on this ninth wave and so transcending, rather than getting caught up in, all the dualities and conflicts of lower Underworlds. If this is so it must also be expected that the Conscious Convergence will meet with much resistance from all those forces that are defending the ego-based operation of the old world and the massive hierarchies this has generated. As a small example of this a commercial media industry has now emerged around 2012 where it is speculated about what is going to happen as if this were independent of the intentions and creative direction people choose. Naturally we will also come to be faced with our own cynicism and apathy towards the state of the world and thoughts will come back to us as: this is not possible, the world will not change, etc and it is for this reason a strong commitment will be needed. The Conscious Convergence is meant to be a very inclusive event that can be embraced by everyone who intends the emergence of unity consciousness regardless of his or her views about the Mayan calendar or otherwise. It is about positively and constructively using a window of opportunity and so participation in this only requires an insight that the consciousness shift must come out of the evolutionary processes that we are currently part of. Thus, a shift to unity consciousness is not something that will simply drop down on us from the sky at some date in the future, but can only evolve from the point where we are at the present moment. It is a basic tenet of the law of attraction that providence only moves when you are committed and so far the commitment for a transition to unity consciousness has not surfaced on a larger scale or even been proposed previously. For this event to be successful in generating the intention for the shift to the consciousness of the ninth wave a massive participation in it will be desirable also at preparatory stages. The preparatory efforts have to be shared by the millions that intend for a shift in consciousness to take place. To bring it about a collective effort will thus be needed and already making a choice to participate is part of creating the intention that has been discussed here. Initially, there will be a great need for people to take initiatives to disseminate the call for the Conscious Convergence around the world. It is important to approach organizations to have them embrace it. Then there will be the need for people to make their unique contributions known through public web sites, social media and other networks. There will also be a need for funding of many aspects of the activities and for staff, which can be done through to www.CommonPassion.org, a 501c3 nonprofit, public benefit corporation. Then, there will be a need for creative planning of events and the creation of a network between these. Individuals and organizations who wish to participate in

this global program are invited to join the discussion for particulars of the shared intention and to connect with others around the world that will be co-creating this intentional wave of unity consciousness. My own view is that this is the last chance that human beings will have to truly align themselves with the cosmic plan. It is now or never and if you do not think that the Conscious Convergence has something to do with you you probably have not studied the Mayan calendar seriously enough. Hence, there can be no proxies for your participation in the transformation of the world as the calendar comes to an end. The final descent of Bolon Yookte, the Nine Waves (Nine Lords of Time or Nine Underworlds, or whatever name you prefer) is upon us and it is not without reason that the number nine is sacred in so many spiritual traditions. Thus July 17, 2010 is 13 Eb, one of the more mysterious day signs that is typically translated as The Road or Grass and, since it is linked to the number 13, this day is very typical of the Eb day sign. Road usually refers to the road of life or the road up the cosmic pyramid and grass refers to

a grass roots event. Typically people born in this day sign are those that have the concern for seven generations into the future, do much good, but do not to seek the limelight for themselves. *** This is not how the Harmonic Convergence was originally understood by Tony Shearer and Jos Argelles. Shearer, a Native American, who first proposed the dates, saw the Harmonic Convergence as the end point of Thirteen Heavens starting AD 843 and the Nine Hells (52-year periods) that had followed upon Hernan Cortez landing in Vera Cruz in 1519 and Argelles promoted this scheme in The Mayan Factor. While this may have served as a guiding prophecy that intuitively led to identifying the dates of the Harmonic Convergence as August 16-17, 1987 (1 Alligator and 2 Wind) it in my view hardly serves as a theoretical understanding of why these dates were actually energetically important. Thus, the Harmonic Convergence was defined more mythologically than scientifically, since at the time the knowledge of the reality basis of the Mayan calendar was almost non-existent. We now know from Mayan sources that 13+9 is not to be regarded as a linear sequence, but that each of the Nine Underworlds was made up from Thirteen Heavens (Thus, according to the Mayan Books of Chilam Balam the nine lords of time (Bolon-ti-ku) seized the thirteen lords of time (Oxlahun-ti-ku) and so creation has an integrated pyramidal rather than linear structure. Whether people are aware of it or not, the entire evolution of the cosmos since the Big Bang has also been meticulously mapped out in light of the Mayan calendar and verified by massive empirical evidence. **** I have probably contributed myself to the confusion that reigns when it comes to the beginning date of the Universal wave movement and have given different times for this. What we know is that the calendar develops according to nine wave movements, where the longest one goes back to the birth of the universe, and they all differ from one another with a factor of twenty. According to such a fractal view of the prophetic Mayan calendar system the ninth wave would then be only 234 days long made up of 13 different uaxaclahunkin (18 day) periods. This places the beginning of the ninth wave at March 9, 2011 and that of the preceding wave (Conscious Convergence) at July 17, 2010. These are points in time that are expected to mark significant frequency increases and accelerations of time. As we approach the time when all the nine waves, developing at different speeds, will simultaneously come to manifest fully (28 October 2011, 13 Ahau) there is thus going to be quite complex patterns of overlapping of these waves. The Sacred Calendar rounds of 260 days will still have an unquestionable energetic existence and so these, as part of this overlapping, would continue the three stage rocket into the birth of the new world that started on 9.9.9 (Sept 9, 2009, please see http://www.calleman.com/content/articles/999_and_the_mayan_calendar.htm). For this reason the dates of the beginnings of the two next tzolkin rounds, May 27, 2010 and Feb 11, 2011, will also remain as important times for celebrating alignments with the cosmic plan and potentially very important for the preparation for the Conscious Convergence and the actual ninth wave respectively.
