Allah has forbidden Paradise to those

who associate partners with Him.

} 72 { 5 -

Allah has forbidden Paradise to those who

associate anything with Him as partner, and their
refuge shall be the Fire. No one will be able to
help such wrong-doers.
Because Allah does not forgive
associating partners with Him

} 48 { 4 -

Surely Allah does not forgive that a partner be

ascribed to Him, although He forgives any other
sins for whomever He wills. He who associates
anyone with Allah as partner has indeed forged a
mighty lie and committed an awesome sin.

} 116 { 4 -

Truly it is only associating other partners with

Allah that Allah does not forgive, and forgives

anything besides that to whomsoever He wills.

Whoever joins others as partners with Allah has
Butstrayed
those, who
repent and believe and do
indeed
far away.
righteous deeds

} 61 - 60 {19 -

However; those, who repent and believe and do

righteous deeds, will enter the Garden and they
will not be wronged in the least. They will have
those everlasting Gardens, which the Merciful has
promised to His servants, while yet they have not
seen them, and most surely that promise will be
fulfilled.
It is not proper for the Prophet and those
who have believed to pray for the
forgiveness of the Mushriks (polytheists:
those who associate partners with Allah).

relatives, when it has become clear to them that

they deserve Hell. As regards the prayer of
Abraham for his father, it was only to fulfil a
promise he had made to him, but when he
realized that his father was an enemy of Allah, he
disowned him. The fact is that Abraham was a
tender-hearted, Godfearing and forbearing man.
