Program Overview
Four years degree program of Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering is offered by the Department of Engineering in AUIC. The program has been permitted by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) after a successful visit of the PEC inspection team on October 17, 2012. The main objective of this program is to provide quality education in the field of Electrical Engineering. The desired output of the program is to produce electrical engineers who are able to handle the technical issues of the field today and are prepared to address the challenges of ever growing and ever changing field of Electrical Engineering. Our industry oriented curriculum makes sure that our graduates will be able to fulfill the requirements of the local and foreign industry. Our focus on incorporating R&D practices in the academics will make sure that our graduates are able to work on novel problems and come up with ground breaking solutions. Academic System: Each academic year consists of two regular semesters, i.e., Fall & Spring. *Summer semester- To bridge the gap Facilities: -Seminar Halls -General Access PC lab. -Simulation Lab -More than 20 class rooms in each campus -Engineering Labs Research Activities: Facilities: -Conference Room -Library with more than 10,000 books & digital collections -Central Wifi system -Cafeteria -Mosque etc. Sports Area etc. Program Accreditation: BEEE at AU has been permitted by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) after Zero visit of PEC Inspection Team on Oct, 17th 2012.

Program Duration: Degree Program 4 years


*Maximum time permitted to complete degree is 6 years

Academic Load: 15-21 Credit Hours per semester

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have 60% or above marks in Intermediate (pre-engineering) or equivalent to apply for admission to the BE Electrical Engineering program. * Students will be required to produce equivalency certificate from Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) within two months of the admission offer. Selection Weightages: a. Matric : 10% b. F.Sc /DAE: 50% c. Entry test, NTS or any Aptitude test : 40% Credit Transfer Students: All potential students applying for transfer of credits must have been enrolled in an HEC recognized institution. Furthermore, they are required to fulfill and complete all admissions requirements for their respective programs.
