Consolidation of

cbs Transforms SAP System Using SAP Landscape Transformation


Dutch stainless steel tank manufacturer Holvrieka has taken over a major part of the ZIEMANN Group. In addition to the Ludwigsburg site and the production facility in Buergstadt, several international sales offices were also part of the takeover. Holvrieka merged the operations it purchased into a new company called ZIEMANN International GmbH. The newly-created company now faced the challenge of updating the SAP system landscape to reflect its founding as a legal entity. The existing legal structure in the SAP system landscape had to be simplified and consolidated. cbs Corporate Business Solutions helped ZIEMANN to find a suitable transformation solution and restructure the system based on the standard scenario of the SAP Landscape Transformation (SAP LT) software.

As a result of the takeover of a major part of the ZIEMANN Groups operations by Dutch stainless steel tank manufacturer Holvrieka, the business operations in Ludwigsburg, the production facility in Buergstadt, and several international sales offices were merged to form a new company called ZIEMANN International GmbH with its headquarters in Ludwigsburg.
