The report of the first group is merely all about the water environment which includes the uses

of water, the crisis we are facing regarding to water supply, and the rules that aims to protect our water resources. Basically the objective of their report is to inform us all about the water environment which includes its components and its uses. Another objective is to teach us how to protect our water resources from pollution and from abusive usage of water as well. Next is to open our eyes and to lead us to the reality that we are facing serious problems concerning pollution and water resources exhaustion. And lastly, it aims to inform and explain to us all about R.A 9275 or the Philippine Clean Water Act which is all about implementation of the rules and regulation concerning the protection of our water resources. These are the objectives that I have observed as I listen to the report of the first group. Water is one of the reasons why lives continue to exist, therefore without it, life would be impossible. As I listen to the reporters of the first group all about the water environment, I was brought to the reality that causes my heart to fell pity to our water environment. Its resources were exhausted from the abusive usage of the living creatures, especially the human beings. It makes me guilty because I am part of humanity which means that somehow I took part in exhausting the water resources. On the other side, I feel relieve also because our officials have thought of a way to protect our water environment. Another thing is I am thankful that I have got the idea of the R.A 9275. It is because I know that I can use it in protecting the water resources and the environment as well. It also gives me a peace of mind because it enables me to know my rights as a citizen of this state. Im so blessed with the learnings that Ive got from the report and from the reporters as well. I just hope that this act would be properly and faithfully observed. To sum up my reaction, I would like to embody it in a quote: Water is a source of life and maintaining it is our responsibility because we are the prime consumer of its resources. After listening to the report, it challenges me to become more responsible citizen of this country.

For the interaction, I think that this report have opened my eyes to the reality that I must let myself be involve in the activities that aim to protect our water resources. It was clearly portrayed that we are one of the primary consumers and benefactors of water. Because of our necessities and consumption, water resources have been exhausted and right now, it is in the critical condition. So we must be involved in rehabilitation of the water environment. And lastly, we must support the programs of our government concerning the protection of our water resources and our environment as well. I guess in this way we can contribute in giving solution to the problem. In that way we could be able to protect the water environment in our own little way just as the famous proverb goes, Great things comes from little things. These are some of the food for thought that I have got from their report: First on the list is the components and uses of the water environment. I have discovered that most of our daily activities involve water in the process. In the cycle of the ecosystem also, water plays a very significant part in balancing the process. It also maintains the existence of life. Without it life would be impossible. Thats how important water is. Same goes with the water environment and resources. Next is the water crisis that we are facing nowadays. I found out that its getting worse as humans consumptions are getting high. Also, more and more problems are occurring because as what I have said on the latter paragraph, living creatures are the primary consumers of water. Abusing the water resources have contributed to the scarcity of water supply. That is why we are the ones who suffered most in this crisis. Lastly, I have learned that in some way we can rehabilitate our water resources through the help of the governments republic act 9275. It is a law concerning the protection of our water environment. It gives us the responsibility to watch over our water consumption which can contribute to the conservation of the water resources. It also informs us that the government is concerned with the environment and we must participate in it. We are also involved in this act because this was made for our own benefit.

To conclude my reaction paper, I just want to put it in a quote again. Here goes, Water simply means life, abusing it may cause life forms to be extinct. Therefore, we must seriously take part in reviving our water environment. We must be active and we must be observant to the rules and regulations that aim to protect our water environment. Another thing is, we are the ones who make the water problem worse. In short, because we are the one who cause the problem, we are also the one who could give the solution to this problem. If we just observe the rules and regulations faithfully then we could start the rehabilitation now in our own little ways. Water is important so we must give importance to it as well. While we still have water in our environment, we must recognize its importance. We must not wait for the time where we can no longer avail the luxury of water. We must take care of our water resources because on the first place, it is not ours. We are only stewards of this world. All of the things on Earth belong to God, our creator. Therefore, we must do our part in preserving our water resources. We must be more responsible in doing our duty so that we can make this world a better place.
