• Running all aspect of the business including importing and exporting, purchasing and negotiating,
• Training staff on customer service, salesmanship and technical matters – many gained formal NVQ
qualifications.
• Developed the business. Staffing up to 10, Turnover from £80K to £900K.
• In 1995 began importing motorcycles from Japan. Importing approximately 400 units per year, selling both to
trade and retail buyers.
• Started as an apprentice mechanic at the age of 16. Trained in-house at Hunters Motorcycles.
