Everyone Is Loveable

This is what love is: it is not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven. Dear friends, if this is how God loved us, then we should love one another (1 John 4:10-11 GNB).
he Bible says For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Isnt it remarkable that the Bible didnt say for God so loved Christians that He gave His only begotten son? Rather, it says for God so loved the world, and that doesnt refer to the plants, trees and other physical features in the world, but to the world of mensinners! What could God have seen in these sinners who didnt even want Him, that would compel Him to offer the ultimate sacrificethe death of His Son, in order to save them? This lets me know that God loves everybody, irrespective of who they are and what theyve done. In His eyes, everyone is beautiful; theres a value in man that makes God love him unconditionally. That love causes Him to look beyond your flaws, faults and shortcomings. The Bible says To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them (2 Corinthians 5:19). Gods love for man is both unconditional and irrevocable. In Ephesians 5:1, were admonished to be imitators of God as beloved children. In other words, God expects us to love everyone in spite of their actions. Theres a beauty in others that God expects you to acknowledge irrespective of what you see and how you may feel about them. They may act and do things in ways that you dont like but youre required to love them nonetheless.

When you train yourself to relate with everyone around you in this manner, anger, malice and bitterness will never be a part of your life! There wouldnt be anything that someone could do that would make you want to hurt or hate them. Rather, youd respond to people with the love of God. Let Gods love burn in you, such that youll always see the good in others. Let there be absolutely nobody that you cant love, for everyone is loveable. Pastor Chris often says that he has never met anyone that he didnt like. Thats the right attitude for the true Christian. Theres nothing that can be told me about someone else that would colour my perception of him or her negatively! Ive made up my mind to love the way God loves. I love everybody because I see them with the eyes of the Father. Remember, everyone is loveable, for theyre all worth the blood of Gods own Son.

Prayer
Dear Father, just as youve loved me with an everlasting love, Ive made up my mind to love everyone I meet and show them the compassion of Christ. Thank you for filling my heart with your love such that its impossible for me to grudge or take record of any wrong done to me by anyone, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
