Key concepts:
1. Social Contract -The idea of the social contract is one of the foundations of the American political system. This is the belief that the state only exists to serve the will of the people, and they are the source of all political power enjoyed by the state. They can choose to give or withhold this power. 2. Pnoys Social Contract with the Filipino People is a sixteenpoint agenda that lays down the vision of government in the different priority areas of development. 3. The Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2011-2016' is the government's blueprint that defines the strategies and programs that will translate the Social Contract into efficient, effective, and responsive actions that are achievable within the term of office of the President; Source: Executive Order No. 43 s. 2011
