So when he joined the National Guard Reserve back in early 2000, he already had a strong persevering mentality. Just one example and Basic Training (as well as OCS in nearly 6 years later) merely added more discipline to his personality than what he already had. My dad tells me however how other soldiers he met may be well-disciplined in the barracks and in the field but if you dig up into their personal life, my dad tells me they are often ****** up people who lack discipline in basic stuff such as personal finance and relationships.
