Project Documentation Tab

Use
You create, add, display or delete documentation of structure items in your implementation project, in this tab.

You can specify whether you want the documentation to be displayed on the Project Documentation tab or in a separate window, by choosing Settings User Specific. You can also specify which data you want to save. If you choose Save Automatically, data will be saved automatically when you change the structure element. If you do not select Save Automatically, the data is buffered when you change tabs, but is only saved to the database when you choose Save.

Integration
The documents are saved in the Knowledge Warehouse and are available to you in the SAP Solution Manager.

Features
You can create your project documentation in this tab. You assign a document type to all documents you create. A document template is called, depending on the document type. You can only use document types that either have a document template or a file name extension supported by the SAP Solution Manager. If a document type has no template or file name extension, the text editor is started. When adding a document (link to Solution Manager document, copy Solution Manager document, upload file, web link), you can use all documentation types, regardless of whether they have a template or file name extension. You can add to the documentation types delivered by SAP on the Project Standards tab in the Implementation Projects Administration transaction. With Insert Document, you can: Create new documents Link to documents whose originals are assigned to other structure elements in the Solution Manager.
