Volume 1 Curtain Raiser & Episode 1 to 4 EPISODE 01 Lord Shiva, soul of existence, Master of Universe, creates Brahma and

Vishnu. Br ahma then creates the Gods, Mann (first man), Shatroopa (first woman) and Daksha . Brahma orders Daksha to marry Veerni, Maharaja Veeren's sibling. And Lord Shiv a promises to appear on Mount Kailash. EPISODE 02 With Brahma's blessings, Mann gets into wedlock with Shatroopa and Daksha with V eerni. As promised, Lord Shiva appears on Mount Kailash and tells the Gods that his better half. Shakti, will be born to Daksha and Veerni in the form of Sati. Meanwhile, Kamdev falls in love with Daksha's daughter Rati. EPISODE 03 The now grown up and beautiful Sati dreams about Lord Shiva, without whom both a re incomplete, but Daksha does not approve of this. The irrepressible Kamdev, in the meantime, falls for Apsara Sandhaya in Indralok and so does Brahma. Stricke n by dual guilt, Sandhya, at the instance of Rishi Vashisht, invokes Lord Shiva. EPISODE 04 Lord Shiva appears before Sandhya and as a result of his advice, she is reborn a s Arundhati. After consigning herself to the sacred fire with the blessings of B rahma, Vishnu and Lord Shiva, Arundhati marries Vashisht. On the other hand, Nar ad tries to convince Daksha to consent to Sati-Lord Shiva wedding, but in vain. VOLUME 2 Episode 5 To 9 EPISODE 05 Sati performs Nandavrat and gets united with Lord Shiva. Daksha reluctantly agre es to their wedding at his palace despite knowing that Sati's happiness is only temporary. EPISODE 06 Preparations are agog for the marriage of Shiva with Sati. Brahma and Narad grac e the grand fete. However, Daksha is aghast at envisioning the five different fo rms of Shiva. Vishnu too sees the half-man-half-woman image of the Lord. After t he rituals, Shiva and Sati leave for Mount Kailash where the Gods welcome them. Daksha, upon hearing the well being of the Divine couple from Narad, is not happ y and the latter leaves Daksha's palace in disgust. EPISODE 07 Narad spreads the good tidings of Lord Shiva and Sati to the latter's mother Vee rni and sisters. At Mount Kailash, Kamdev and Rati are engaged in arousing the p assions of the newly married couple. However, the Lord and Sati set out to grace the earth, while an angry Saint Durvasa vents his ire on Indra with a curse by which dreaded demons Rahu and Bali take over the Heavens. EPISODE 08 Shiva's mighty destructive powers churn the ocean, threatening to eliminate the Universe. But then his protective powers balance the fury and the Lord ingests t he diabolic poison, hence acquires the title of Neelkanth (The Blue Throated). T he vile Kahn acquires the nectar that had also dropped from the churning but bef ore he could do any harm, Vishnu beheads him with his halo. Vishnu marries Laxmi , also a divine droplet from the ocean churning. Meanwhile, Daksha s 27 daughter s marry Chandra with the consent of the latter's parents Atri and Anusuya, but t

rouble ensues as Chandra endorses marital status only on Rohini. EPISODE 09 When the neglected wives of Chandra complain to their father Daksha about their plight, in a fit of fury, he brings back Rohini to his palace and informs Brahma and Narad about it. Chandra's parents Atri and Anusuya too are hurt and they in voke the Lord. On the other hand, Chandra sets out to retrieve Rohini but is dis figured by the evil powers of Daksha. VOLUME 3 Episode 10 To 14 EPISODE 10 There is consternation all round, for, if Chandra disappears, there will be tota l darkness. All attempts prove futile but Chandra's mother Anusuya succeeds in p ersuading Sati, who advises her to perform the divine Mrityunjaya Mahadev Penanc e. In effect, Rohini is able to tend to her ailing husband, Chandra. EPISODE 11 Failing in their efforts to locate Lord Shiva, Narad and the other Go ds approach Brahma who advises them to perform Mrityunjaya Mahamantra Penance. A long with Chandra's mother Anusuya and wife Rohini, they perform the penance and invoke the Lord's blessings. But Dakshas curse is so potent that Chandra would be eclipsed for 12 hours every month. EPISODE 12 Back in Mount Kailash, Narad now pleads with Sati on behalf on Suryasha who want s to marry Nandi. Nandi's father Shilad had been an ardent devotee of the Lord a nd Nandi s birth was a result of that devotion. Thus, Shiva had not taken notice of Suryasha's prayers to Him. It is now up to Sati and Narad along with Nandi t o see that Suryasha's prayers to the Lord are appropriately answered. EPISODE 13 While Vishnu and Lakshmi are in awe of Lord Shiva's greatness, Narad is summoned by Brahma, as there is a ritual to be performed, since, the poison out of the o cean churning had spilled over to the Universe, threatening to pollute it. Shiva is also invited to the ritual. When Daksha walks in with great pomp, Shiva fail s to take notice. This invites Daksha's wrath and he seeks vengeance, despite Na ndis defiance. Shiva is deliberately not invited to Daksha's counter-ritual, but Vishnu and Brahma decide to attend... if only to monitor Daksha's crafty intent ions. EPISODE 14 Distraught Sati confronts her father Daksha at the counter-ritual for humiliatin g Lord Shiva. But Daksha is not only unmoved, he is also rude towards her and Sh iva. Having failed in her mission, Sati jumps into the ritual fire and kills her self. Upon learning Sati's sacrifice, enraged Shiva gets Daksha beheaded at the hands of demon Veerbhadra. Veerni begs Shiva for mercy and Daksha is forgiven, b ut his life would now be humble and mellowed. VOLUME 4 Episode 15 To 19 EPISODE 15 Lord Shiva, remorseful at Sati's sacrifice, searches for her soul in the entire Universe, through his Third Eye. The Gods are worried as this will lead to the d estruction of the Universe. On Brahma's advice, coupled with Shiva's consent, Vi shnu incinerates the lifeless body of Sati with his divine Halo. Meanwhile, due to Brahma's penance, Sati, who now rules the Universe as Shakti, seated on a Lio

n, appears before the Gods and says that they will have to wait before she is re born. EPISODE 16 While Nandi and other Gods are embittered over the demise of Sati. Narad comes w ith the good news that Sati would be reborn, but only Shiva knows when. Shiva ad vices Narad to approach Brahma, who, meanwhile, has granted a boon to demon Tark asur that he, would rule the Heavens. Armed with this boon, Tarkasur captures In dra, but Narad arrives at the nick of time and threatens Tarkasur with dire cons equences, as a result of which he releases Indra. However, he proclaims himself as the king of the Heavens. EPISODE 17 On Mount Kailash, the Shivganas are remorse over the self-sacrifice o f Sati. Seeing this, Narad prays to Lord Shiva who advises him to approach Brahm a. On the way Narad witnesses the plight of Shivganas due to the demons and he g oes to Brahmalok. Brahma tells Indra about their plight and that the only way to destroy Tarkasur is through Shiva's offspring . Brahma then tells the story of how Maina's penance results in Sati being born to her. Tbhe tortures of Tarkasur continue unabated. The Shivganas request Narad to invoke Shiva and end his sama dhi. Narad tells Shiva about Satis rebirth and the Lord is elated. EPISODE 18 King Mandata of the Himalayan Palace is looking for his Queen Maina who is invok ing Lord Shiva in the jungles. Their ascendant sage - Ghir, informs the King tha t a male offspring would be born. Meanwhile, pleased with Mama's devotion, the L ord appears before her and tells her that He will be that male offspring. Aghast at this development, Narad and Indra approach Shiva who advises them to be pati ent for the time being. EPISODE 19 Narad, Indra and others including Mighty Mountains Vindyachal and Sumeru at the Himalayan Palace are felicitating King Mandata on the birth of a son. The egoist Sumeru claims to be higher than Vindyachal and when Shiva learns about this fro m Vindyachal and Mandata's invocation, He appears before them. While Mandata doe s not seek any favor, Vindyachal wants to be higher than Sumeru. Shiva now summo ns Sage Agastya to slightly bend Vindyachal. VOLUME 5 Episode 20 To 24 EPISODE 20 Narad looks down and sees that Vindhyachal has bent. On enquiry, he learns that it is due to sage Agasthya's order. Advising Vindhvachal to be modest, Narad bec kons Shiva to rid him of the plight. Shiva promises to appear on the banks of ri ver Narmada. Shiva's devotees Omkareshwar and Amleshwar throng the place but, in the Heavens, Tarkasur unleashes his fury. He does not heed Narad's pleas as a r esult of which Narad asks Brahma not to grant boons to demons. Just then, King B hagirath's plea is heard. Bramha appears and asks Bhagirath to invoke Lord Shiva . EPISODE 21 On Bhagirath's invocation, Lord Shiva grants him a boon that Goddess Ganga would descend on Earth to make it holy. But Ganga is upset with this boon and resists. Lord Shiva is furious and ties Ganga in his hairlock. Bhagirath alo ng with Vishnu, Brahma and Narad pray to the Lord to release Ganga and eventuall y She is released and lands on earth. EPISODE 22 Meanwhile, Shakti is born to Queen Maina and Brahma and Vishnu appear to see Sha kti in human form. Narad too congratulates King Himalaya. He then informs Indra

and other Gods that Tarkasur would no longer torture them. On Mount Kailash, the letter OM appears from the heart of Shiva and from his sweat, a droplet that ta kes the human form of Mangal and falls on Mother Earth, who embraces him. Lord S hiva blesses both Earth and Mangal. EPISODE 23 Mother Earth is remorse at the attitude of Mangal who does not recipr ocate the maternal affection. Mangal invokes Shiva and the Lord grants him a boo n in Heaven. Meanwhile, Parvati, under the tutelage of sage Garg, learns the tru e import of 'OM' and attains womanhood. On the other hand, devotees eagerly awai t Shakti in her human form on Mount Kailash. Narad too arrives there but is stun ned to see Shiva in deep meditation. EPISODE 24 Maina and Himalaya are worried about Parvati's marriage and son Mainak. Narad, o n his visit to Himalayas sees the palm of Parvati and is elated. On invocation, Lord Shiva asks all of them to wait for the inevitable. Sage Garg too opines tha t none other than Shiva would be Parvati's husband. As Shiva has left Mount Kail ash, Himalaya and his entourage prepare to leave for the banks of Ganges. VOLUME 6 Episode 25 To 30 EPISODE 25 Shiva is in deep solitude and does not wish to be disturbed, not even by Parvati who tries to entice him. Nandi also dissuades Narad from paying obeisance to Sh iva, but is convinced of an inevitable union of Shiva and Shakti. Meanwhile, Tar kasur bears his fangs and attacks Indra and other Gods despite Narad's advice. EPISODE 26 This episode is a recap of the preceding episodes, therefore not incl uded in this DVD. EPISODE 27 Supriya and his friends are captured by demon Daruk at the instance of Tarakasur , but the divine powers of Shiva kill Daruk. Upon the invocation of Supriya, Shi va blesses him at Nageshwar Jyotirling. Meanwhile, Mainak admonishes Parvati but she is determined to marry Shiva. EPISODE 28 Nandi concurs with Mainak about Parvati's determination to win over Shiva and is uncertain about the Lord's reaction. The Gods and Narad who are now fed up with the tyranny of Tarkasur approach Brahma, who is in deep meditation. However, Br ahma advises them to seek the Lord's blessings at Kashi. EPISODE 29 Notwithstanding Mainak's ire, Parvati proceeds on her mission to win over Shiva who is unmoved even at Kamdev's instance. The Lord, in a fit of anger, reduces K amdev to ashes. Brahma steps in and sinks Shiva's fury. Shiva relents and says t hat Kamdev will be bereft of a body and he will be reborn as Krishna's son. EPISODE 30 Parvati's obsession with Shiva persists and Mainak has to reconcile. On Narad's advice, Parvati undertakes penance to invoke the Lord. The Gods are worried abou t these developments and they approach Brahma who preaches them the true import and glory of 'Dharma' (religion). VOLUME 7 Episode 31 To 35

EPISODE 31 For the sake of inheritance, Sudeha asks her younger sister Ghushma to marry her husband Sudharma, but after the birth of a child, Sudeha kills him. Lord Shiva steps in and revives the child, but Ghushma beseeches him not to punish Sudeha. For this act of kindness, Lord Shiva establishes the Ghushmeshwar Jyotirling wit h a boon that a visit to this shrine will rid the devotees of their chronic ailm ents. EPISODE 32 Parvati, meanwhile, is adamant in her worship of Lord Shiva, despite the requests of the Saptrishis to the contrary. Queen Maina too wants Parvati to return, but King Himalaya dissuades her from forcing her. Scared of the adamant stance of Parvati, Tarkasur and the demons, which were conspiring to kill the G ods, flee Heaven. EPISODE 33 Due to Parvati s adamant stance, the demons flee Heaven and thus Indra and Shach i ascend the throne. However, Narad is anxious about Parvati's persistence to wi n over Shiva and expresses this to Brahma. The Gods decide to leave for Himalaya palace to propose Shiva's marriage with Parvati. King Himalaya and Queen Maina too invoke the Lord who is in deep meditation. On his part, Tarkasur plans to ki ll Parvati. EPISODE 34 Narad and Indra are worried about Shiva's whereabouts. The Lord had been angry a t Kamdev's intercession on behalf of Parvati. Meanwhile, brothers Nar and Naraya n are also in deep meditation to invoke Shiva. In order to break the penance, ov eranxious Indra assigns celestial beauties Rambha and Menaka to entice the broth ers. EPISODE 35 When Nar and Narayan learn about the real aim of Kambha and Menaka, infuriated N arayan produces an extremely sensuous girl Urvashi from his high to counter the two girls. Urvashi creates a spell and now Nar decides to punish Indra for the i ntrusion. However, on Narayan and Urvashi's behest, he desists from doing so. Lo rd Shiva, pleased at the devotion of Nar and Narayan, appears before them. He al so grants Parvati's long-standing wish. VOLUME 8 Episode 36 To 40 EPISODE 36 With Shiva conceding to grant Parvati her wish to marry him, there is all-round celebration at the Himalayan palace. Shiva also joins in disguise, which only Pa rvati could recognize. He is ordered to be captured but when Narad makes the rev elation, the Royal family agrees to get their daughter Parvati married to Shiva. When Tarkasur learns this news from his commander, he orders his demons to disr upt the peace of the Himalayan Kingdom. EPISODE 37 Enraged Shiva deputes Veer Bhadra to combat the evil Tarkasur and the latter is defeated and forced to flee. The news is conveyed to Parvati by Jay-Vijay. Meanw hile, Shiva disguises himself as a Brahmin and incites Queen maina against him. Parvati tries to tell her mother that the Brahmin is none other than the Lord hi mself, but she refuses to believe. EPISODE 38 Himaaya and Mahla accept the proposal of Shiv-Parvati alliance by Arundhati and the seven saints. Saint Garg too comes to Mt. Kailash with the same proposal. Wh ile everyone is rejoicing the proposal, Narad is caught at the behest of Tarakas

ur. EPISODE 39 While Vishnu Lakshmi and Brahma Saraswati reach Mt. Kailash for the grand weddin g of Lord Shiva with Parvati, the divine rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Krishna and Godav ari proceed to Himalaya palace for the bride's make-up. Narad also reaches Himal aya palace to receive the procession. The most awaited marriage is thus solemniz ed. EPISODE 40 Worried Larkasur attacks the Heaven on hearing the news of the celestial wedding but, the seven saints at the behest of Lord Shiva repulse him. Meanwhile, the p rocession of the newly weds reached Mount Kailash amidst great pomp and glory. T he Lord greets everyone and reassures that he would continue to protect all of t hem from Tarkasur's tyranny. VOLUME 9 Episode 41 To 45 EPISODE 41 Lord Shiva is in a passionate mood with Parvati and not finding the Lord at Mt. Kailash, Nandi, Indra and others go to Brahma and Vishnu to seek their advice on tackling demon Tarkasui s tyranny on earthlings. EPISODE 42 Lord Shiva and Parvati are none-too-pleased with the Gods for their i ntrusion during consummation and curse them. Shiva spits fire and though Narad i ntervenes, sets Ganga ablaze, from where the fire penetrates the wives of seven saints bathing there. Their combined heat gives birth to Kartikeya. Tarkasur now vows to kill Kartikeya. EPISODE 43 Narad proposes that Kartikeya be made Indra's commander in the God's fight again st the demons. On Mt. Kailash, Parvati is overwhelmed with maternal love for Kar tikeya. But then, Tarkasur's commander is monitoring the moves of the Gods and d ecides to inform his master. EPISODE 44 While Tarkasur is agitated with the news of Kartikeya being prepared to attack h im, Parvati too is angry that a child of 10 years should be sent to destroy a de mon. She however relents on Shiva's advice and thus Kartikeya proceeds to invade Tarkasur's fiefdom. EPISODE 45 Kartikeya kills Tarkasur in a fiercely fought battle and Shiva and Parvati are e lated. A galactic group wants Kartikeya back, but Shiva does not relent. Kartike ya on his part appears nevertheless and blesses them with his sublime love and a ffection. VOLUME 10 Episode 46 To 50 EPISODE 46 The six Ritikas want Kartikeya but on the advice of Lord Shiva, they return to t heir galaxy. Parvati is anxious as Kartikeya is missing from Mount Kailash. He, in fact, has gone to meet sage Aagastya, who advises him to spread the importanc e of Shiva's devotion to the world. Kartikeya, thus returns to Mount Kailash. Me anwhile, Parvati is furious at Nandi as he had let the Lord into her chamber whi le she was bathing.

EPISODE 47 Parvati creates a statue and infuses life into it and hence Ganesh is born, who safeguards Parvati's chamber. He repels even Lord Shiva who tries to enter and a ngry Lord chops off Ganesha's head. Parvati, in a fit of fury, transforms hersel f as Nav Durga. All the Gods seek her forgiveness. EPISODE 48 Shiva sends Vishnu to cut the head of the first creature he encounters in the ju ngles in order to replace it with the chopped head of Ganesha. Vishnu brings the head of an elephant and Ganesha comes to life again. While Parvati and Shiva di scuss the marriage of Kartikeya and Ganesha, king Vishwarupa requests Narad to p ropose his daughters (Riddhi and Siddhi) alliance with Kartikeya and Ganesha to Shiva and Parvati. EPISODE 49 Ganesha prevents Parasuram from meeting Shiva, who is in deep penance. In the en suing fight, Ganesha's tooth is snipped by Parasuram. Meanwhile, Kartikeya and G anesha are engaged in a race around the world. EPISODE 50 Both Kartikeya and Ganesha are declared winners in the race around the world. Wh en Kartikeya refuses to marry, both Riddhi and Siddhi are married off to Ganesha . Meanwhile, a child Shreekar, a disciple of Shiva, pleads with the Lord to prev ent an impending attack by Rippuduman and Sinhaditya on Ujjain's ki ng Chandrase n. VOLUME 11 Episode 51 To 56 EPISODE 51 Even as Shreekar's devotion towards Shiva increases, Brahma blesses a demon Dush an with powers, on the condition that it will be ineffective against Shiva's dis ciples. Due to his atrocities, Dushan is reduced to ashes and Chandrasen of Ujja in is captured. Hanuman is thus summoned. Hanuman prophesizes that Shreekar woul d be reborn as Vasudev in his 8"' birth, the father of Krishna. EPISODE 52 This episode is a recap of the preceding episodes, therefore not incl uded in this DVD. EPISODE 53 Parvati, Laxmi, Saraswati and the Gods are worried as Brahma grants a boon to th e three sons of demon Tarkasur. Shiva however puts their fear to rest and the de mon's sons worship the Lord for their safety. EPISODE 54 The waves of Tarkasur's son's worship of Shiva reaches Mt. Kailash an d Narad relate it to Vishnu and Laxmi. Vishnu instructs Indra to assign Rambha a nd Menaka with the task of dissuading Tarkasur's sons from worshipping the Lord. EPISODE 55 Brahmadutt succeeds where Rambha and Menaka fail in preventing Tarkasui s sons f rom worshipping Shiva. Narad, however, informs Indra of the evil intentions of T arkasur's sons to attack the Heavens. EPISODE 56 On being incited by Narad, Indra and other Gods go to see Tripur in spite of Ind rani's protests. At Tripur, Tarkasur's son arrests all the Gods and put them in jail, worried Indrani goes to Shiva along with Brahma. Shiva and Brahma together go to Tripur in Brahma's chariot; Shiv kills Tarkasur's sons and frees Gods. Dr

iven by dire poverty, a boy named Upmanyu goes to his maternal uncle's place alo ng with his mother. His maternal aunt Tara makes their life miserable. VOLUME 12 Episode 57 To 61 EPISODE 57 In spite of doing the entire household chores, Upmanyu is rebuked by his aunt an d is even caused to long for basic; necessities. Narad persuades Parvatr to retu rn to Kailash when she is on her way to her father's palace. Upmanyu leaves home without food and water to worship Shiva, but is declared a thief by Tara when h e does not return home. Narad watches Upmanyu engrossed in Shiva's worship. Parv ati comes to worship Shiva but finds him missing. Narad also arrives at that tim e. EPISODE 58 Narad disappears from Kailash. Shiva in the guise of India, dissuades Upamanyu f rom Shiva's worship and offers him the luxuries ot~heaven but he refuses the off er. Indra on hearing this news goes to Parvati and requests to be protected. Shi va tests Upmanyu's belief in Shiva in many ways and eventually appears before hi m in His own form and grants him the boon of 'Brahmvidya'. Upmanyu forgives his maternal uncle and aunt. Indra's doubts are also removed. EPISODE 59 Maa Shakti gives an indication to Parvati that cosmic energy would travel across Brahmalok, Nakshatralok and Swargalok, bringing about a universal change. A cos mic tremor is felt all over and the Gods seek the help of Shiva who appears in t he form of a divine light and then transforms into Panchmukhi. Narad proceeds to inform Kartikeva about the development, but finds him in deep penance on Mt. Sh ail. Shiva, Parvati and Narad now proceed towards Mt. Shail. EPISODE 60 During the stay of Shiva, Parvati and Narad at Larasu's house, Larasu's daughter gets attracted towards Narad. On learning this, Narad disappears from there and Tarasu marries his daughter in his tribe only. As per aborigine custom, Shiva & Parvati have to marry again during the wedding of Tarasu's daughter after which they go to meet Muruganswamy alias Kartikeya. Kartikeva recognizes his parents and bows before them. At the same time, the tribal of the village also sees Lord Shiva and Parvati in their original form. Shiva Parvati in their cosmic form en tered into Linga and that place was known as Mallikarjun Jyotirling. EPISODE 61 Brahma and Saraswati clarify Narad's inquisitiveness when he visits Brahmalok. G uru Vrihaspali is in deep meditation and hence Vrishaspati. Indra, in order to p rove himself superio, goes to kailash and insults Shiva. Shiva becomes angry and wants to reduce Indra to ashes. On request from Vrihaspati, Shiva spares Indra and immerses his fire of anger in sea. Jallandhar is kept, in care of demons and Guru Khukracharya teaches him use of weapons. Narad informs Indra about this de velopment. VOLUME 13 Episode 62 To 66 EPISODE 62 Jallandhar on being incited by his followers declares his plan of conquering the entire galaxy. Kaalnemi brings his daughter Vrinda to Shukracharya. In Vaikunth , Laxmi comes to know from Narad that Jallandhar is her younger brother and Shuk racharya marries Vrinda with Jallandhar. Jallandhar's commander Dhasmar asks Ind

ra to accept the supremacy of Jallandhar but when refused by Indra, Jallandhar p lans an attack on heaven. EPISODE 63 Jallandhar tests the fighting skills of Vrinda with whom he eventually marries. After the marriage, he declares war on the Gods and deputes his commander to Hea ven. The Gods refuse to accept Jallandhar's supremacy and enraged, the latter at tacks the Heavens. EPISODE 64 Jallandhar goes to the extent of humiliating his own Guru Shukracharya to establ ish his supremacy. The Gods seek the help of Vishnu to combat Jallandhar. Howeve r, when Narad informs Jallandhar that Vishnu is none other than his brother-in-l aw and Lakshmi, his sister, he brings them to his palace, much to the chagrin of Indra. EPISODE 65 Narad dispels Indra's fear of Vishnu and Lakshmi getting close to Jal landhar, as he overhears the conversation between Guru Shukracharya and Rahu. Sh ukracharya advices Jallandhar to banish Vishnu and Lakshmi from his palace, but Vrinda does not approve of this. Jallandhar now admonish Vrinda and upset Lakshm i along with Vishnu leave from there. Narad baits Jallandhar and incites him to abduct Parvati. EPISODE 66 On Shiva's instructions, Narad gets Jallandhar attracted towards Parvati. Jallan dhar takes the bait and deputes Rahu to Mt. Kailash. The later however flees, sc ared at the fury of Shiva. Narad on his part pacifies Indra that Jallandhar woul d not attack Heaven. VOLUME 14 Episode 67 To 71 EPISODE 67 As Rahu runs away from Mt. Kailash, Jallandhar attacks it and after defeating Ve erbhadra confronts Shiva. Lakshmi is worried for her brother and asks Vishnu to destroy Vrinda's chastity so that Jallandhar's powers are reduced. Furious Shiva , meanwhile, throws Shukracharya into the sea. EPISODE 68 Shukracharya predicts the destruction of Jallandhar to Vrinda and the latter's m aids take her to Mahayogi, who is none other than Vishnu in disguise. Vishnu des troys the chastity of Vrinda and she curses him that in his reincarnation as Lor d Rama, he will be separated from his wife Sita. Nevertheless, Vishnu blesses Vr inda that she'd be worshipped as Tulsi. Shiva, meanwhile, kills Jallandhar and p eace returns to the universe. EPISODE 69 As sage Gautam and his wife Ahilya beckon the elusive rain-gods, Narad proceeds to the Heavens and confronts Indra, Indrani and Varun Dev, as a result of which Gautam and Ahilya are blessed with a torrent and water reservoir. The local sain ts and their spouses aren't too pleased and they implicate the holy sage and his wife for cow slaughter and get them exiled. EPISODE 70 Narad informs Lord Shiva about the predicament of Gautam and Ahilya and conseque ntly, Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Indra and other Gods bless the later. Thus, Trimba keshwar is established. Meanwhile, in a fierce encounter, Satyarath exterminates his sworn foe Ketudhwaj, but himself gets killed at the hands of his own son Vr ishdhwaj. The latter's wife dies after giving birth to a child and a dramatic tu

rn entails as a Brahmin woman adopts the infant. EPISODE 71 Shiva, Brahma and Uma discuss about Shuchivrat and Dharmgupt on Kailash. Both Su chivrat and Dharmgupt are blesses by sage Shandilya. Vrishdhwaj, on realizing th at both the boys are alive, makes an attempt to kill them but they are saved by the blessings of Shiva. When the boys grow up, with the help of Sandharv Raj Kod ravin, they defeat Vrishdwaj and regain their kingdom. Diti gives birth to two b oys and orders them to conquer earth. VOLUME 15 Episode 72 To 76 EPISODE 72 Narad appears at Mount Kailash and narrates the atrocities being perpetuated by Hrinakshya and Hiranyakashyap. Indra runs away from heaven when the same is occu pied by demons. Narad advises Indra to go to Vishnu. Thereafter, he advises Hrin akshya to worship Indra for a son as; only after being blessed by a son, he can conquer the earth. Diti marries off both his son. Hrinakshya decides to worship Shiva for a son. EPISODE 73 Lord Shiva and Parvati undertake a sojourn on the skies during which a dreaded d emon Andhakasur is born out of Shiva's sweat at Mt. Mandarachal. Andhakasur is g iven to Hiranyakashyap by Lord Shiva and on the demon's instigation; Hiranyakash yap unleashes a reign of terror on the saints and sages. EPISODE 74 As Diti orders her son Hiranyakashyap to invade and conquer earth, Indra and oth er Gods come down to earth fearing the wrath of demons. On Lord Shiva's advice, Vishnu in disguise liberates earth. EPISODE 75 On Shukracharya's advice, Hiranyakashyap prays to Brahma. In the Heav ens, Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati are worried about the demons evil powers. In dra having failed in all other attempts to contain Hiranyakashyap, kidnaps his w ife Kayadhu by deceit. However, she is rescued by Narad and taken to his abode. EPISODE 76 Kayadhu gives birth to a son, Prahlad, at Narad's abode. Hiranyakashyap succeeds in his prayers to Brahma and gains the blessings of invincibility. On hearing a bout Kayadhu and his newborn son Prahlad, Hiranyakashyap proceeds towards Narad' s abode. VOLUME 16 Episode 77 To 81 EPISODE 77 Demon King Pali, fetches Kayadhu and Prahlad from Narad's abode and Andhakasur i s pleased to meet Prahlad. However, Hiranyakashyap is unhappy, as Prahlad is an avowed devotee of Vishnu. At Shukracharya's instance, Hiranyakashyap invades Hea ven and Narad advices Indra to accept Hiranyakashyap's supremacy. EPISODE 78 Shukracharya admonishes Prahlad for worshipping Vishnu. Lord Shiva warns Shukrac harya against torturing the saints. Meanwhile, Diti fixes Prahlad's wedding, but Hiranyakashyap draws out a sinister plan to throw him into boiling oil. Worried Vishnu now confers with Lord Shiva.

EPISODE 79 As Prahlad survives a pan of boiling oil, his aunt conspires to kill him and jum ps into a pyre. Prahlad escapes death again, but his aunt is reduced to ashes. E nraged Hiranyakashyap fuelled by Diti, launches a search for Prahlad. EPISODE 80 Prahlad appears before Hiranyakashyap and eulogies about Vishnu's omn ipresence. Furious Hiranyakashyap hits a column with his weapon and Vishnu emerg es from it in the form of Narsingh and exterminates him. Meanwhile, Dundhubindad , who obtains many powers, begin to torture the saints and is killed by Lord Shi va. EPISODE 81 Diti admonishes Prahlad when he comes in search of Andhakasur. Everyone is conce rned about Andhakasur, as he starts worshipping Brahma. Eventually, his eyesight is restored and Diti orders him to take revenge on Vishnu, Indra and the human race. VOLUME 17 Episode 82 To 87 EPISODE 82 Andhakasur also seeks out Prahlad and a fierce combat ensues between them. Prahl ad emerges victorious, yet hands over the kingdom to Andhakasur, who now conquer s the heavens too. EPISODE 83 While Lord Shiva is busy in religious fasting, Andhakasur sets his sight on the attractive Parvati. A fight ensues between the Lord's warriors and demons. Shukr acharya aids Andhakasur and this enrages Shiva, who unleashes his fury on both S hukracharya and Andhakasur. EPISODE 84 This episode is a recap of the preceding episodes, therefore not incl uded in this DVD, EPISODE 85 Both Parvati and Narad are moved by the pathetic plight of Mandrachal. While Shi va is helping Mandrachal, a thick dense smoke emanates that darkens Parvati's co mplexion. Meanwhile, Indra is also worried about the penance undertaken by Shumb h Nishumbh and he approaches Vishnu. EPISODE 86 Parvati is disturbed by her dark complexion & complains to Shiva. A virgin can o nly kill Boon & Blesses by given Brahma to Shumbh Nishumbh. Boon delights Shumbh Nishmubh and angers the Gods. Shiva reasons dark complexion to Parvati and Shum bh-Nishumbh occupy heaven. EPISODE 87 Gods refused by Brahma to their appeal against the occupation of heaven by Shumb h-Nishumbh plan to approach Lord Shiva. But deterred by Narad, go to Lord Vishnu who assures help and asks Gods to incognito. Parvati worships Brahma. Shumbh Ni shumbh searches Gods and Narad requests Shiva to pacify Parvati. VOLUME 18 Episode 88 To 92 EPISODE 88 Sage Vrishaspati disappears when brought to Shumbh-Nishumbh by demons. Shumbh Ni shumbh Shaunik locates hermitage of where Gods are hiding and orders to destroy

it. But are driven away by sage Shaunik. Shiva dances his fearsome form on Kaila sh as Parvati is not pacified. Shiva discusses the problem of Shumbh Nishumbh wi th Brahma. Parvati riding a lion appears on Kailash. EPISODE 89 On advice of Narad, Gods approach Devi Kaushiki. Devi Kaushiki saves sages of he rmitage of Shaunik demon lures Shumbh-Nishumbh towards kaushiki. Sage Shaunik cr eates three demons Chand, Mund and Sugreev from holy fire to help Shumbh Nishumb h EPISODE 90 Narad and Gods approach Kaushiki for protection. Shumbh Nishumbh sends Chand & M und with a marriage proposal to Kaushiki but she refuses and advises to send int elligent emissary with proposal. Brahma explains Narad that only Kauslriki can b e the cause of the destruction of Shumbh Nishumbh and sends Sugreev with the mar riage proposal Parvati expresses desire to meet Kaushiki. EPISODE 91 Sage Shukracharya warns Sugreev against his mission, but because of fear, still goes to Kaushiki. Kaushiki declares that she will marry a person who can defeat her in battle. Narad disturbs Sage Shukracharya in order to help Gods. Shumbh Ni shumb annoyed at the reply of Kaushiki, send a warrior Dhumralochan to Kaushiki Parvati comes to aid Kaushiki. EPISODE 92 Kaushiki kills Dhumralochan. Shumbh Nishumbh sends Chand and Mund but are killed by Parvati in form of Chamunda. Sugreev is rebuked for his advise to forget Kau shiki. Parvati also kills Rakrabeej, another demon. Shumbh Nishumbh decides to f ight Kaushiki personally. VOLUME 19 Episode 93 To 97 EPISODE 93 In spite of being warned by Lord Shiva, Shumbh Nishumbh fight with Ka ushiki and are killed. Gods are happy and praise ShivaParvati and Kaushiki. Sage Parvati learns the desire of Shiva and goes to hermitage of sage Dadhichi to wo rship. EPISODE 94 Narad is inspired to have a wife on seeing sage Dadhichi & his wife Suvarna wors hipping. Lord Shiva blesses Dadhichi and his wife for lustrous child and Narad f or a dutiful wife. Narad and Parvati go to sage Tvashta. Indra takes Tvashta to heaven for his powers. EPISODE 95 Narad & Parvati inform King Sanjay about location infested by dacoits. Sage Tvas hta advice's Gods to worship Shakti - sage Parvati & Narad are looked after by k ing Sanjay's daughter Danyant. Indra angers Tvashta with a request for a force s hields. EPISODE 96 Feeling insulted by Indra, Sage Tvashta returns to his hermitage. Indra starts w orshipping Shakti to take revenge on Tvashta. Narad and Parvati both are enamore d by Damyanti and curse each other. EPISODE 97 Narad, who is now monkey faced, is reassured by Vishnu for relief, but enraged s age Tvastha takes Parvat to task. Indra is also angry and exterminates Trisira, who is born out of the holy fire.

VOLUME 20 Episode 98 To 102 EPISODE 98 The wounded Parval who is given succor in the hut of Kureela and his daughter Va nya, falls in love with the latter. Tvashta wants to take revenge against Indra who has killed Trisira, but Shakti advises him against it. EPISODE 99 While Vanya pines for Parvati, he proceeds to the king's palace. Damayanti in th e meantime frees Narad from the monkey-faced curse. Now the mission of Parvati a nd Narad is to cajole the sage Tvashta who has Indra in his angry spell. EPISODE 100 Vishnu now intermediates in this chaos and with his blessings and schemes; Vritr asur appears before Tvashta and swallows Indra. However; Indra has the good tidi ngs of Shakti and is saved. Lord Shiva there after advises Indra to seek pardon of 'Pvashta. EPISODE 101 Vishnu is aware that Vritrasur will be dethroned. Indra calls for peace with Vritrasur but Tvashta warns the latter about the scheme of Indra. Brahma now steps in and suggests a secret weapon to Indra. EPISODE 102 The secret weapon suggested by brahma is none other than the one made out of Dad hichi s bones, which the latter readily offers and in the aftermath, Indra kills Vritrasur. Shukracharya becomes angry and by his curse, Indra is now ugly. On t he advice of Lord Shiva, Indra goes penance in Mansarover. VOLUME 21 Episode 103 To 107 EPISODE 103 Absence of Indra creates chaos and drought Nahush is made king till Indra return s. Shiva imparts wisdom to Nahush in dream to protect Shachi. EPISODE 104 Nahush attracted in Shachi demands right on her. Shachi is invited by him on pla guing carried by seven sages. Angry sages curse and turn Nahush into a snake, In dra returns to heaven. EPISODE 105 On Parvati's request, Shiv relieves Mandarachal of his pain caused during churni ng of sea. Parvati's complexion changes from fair to dark & she blames Shiv for this. Shumbh-Nishumbh are given a boon by Brahma that their death can only occur at the hands of a woman not born by any other being. Parvati starts praying Bra hma to get back her fair complexion. Shumbh-Nishumbh occupy heaven. Brahma produ ces Kaushiki from the dark complexion of Parvati who eventually kills Shnmbh Nis humbh. After the completion of task Kaushiki merges into Parvati. EPISODE 106 Narad reproves Ganesha for not visiting his parents after marriage. On return, N arad visits Chandra & Rohini and afterwards meets Vrihaspati who explains to him about a divine fruit, in which all respected Gods appear in a state of love. Na rad offers this fruit to Vishnu who declines. Narad then takes it to Kailash and offers it to Shiva. On advice of Brahma, Shiva gifts the divine fruit to Kartik

eya even though Ganesha is also present there. On return from Kailash, Ganesha i s painted by the remarks of Chandra. EPISODE 107 Narad on his return from Kailash describes about the divine fruit to Kartikeya. There is a discussion about the divine fruit in Ganesha's abode and he becomes v ery angry at Narad. On invitation from his parents, Ganesha goes to Kailash. Enr oute he puts a curse on Chandra for his insolence and darkness envelopes the who le world, Parvati explains Brahma's innocence in the case of the divine fruit an d begs Shiva to alleviate Chandra & Rohiui's distress. VOLUME 22 Episode 108 To 112 EPISODE 108 Rohini prays to Shiva so that Chandra can be free from Ganesha's curse. Parvati advises her to pray to Ganeesha. Ganesha frees Chandra from the curse and explai ns him the importance of forth day of bright half of lunar month. On Chandra's r ecovery there are festivities in heaven. During festivities, sage Vamdev becomes angry and turns demi-god Crouch into a rat that starts destroying the abode of sage Parashar. On prayers of the sage, Ganesha decides to make the rat his mode of conveyance. EPISODE 109 Parvati enquires Shiva about his anxiety. He explains that his anxiety is caused by strange happenings in the world. Anusuya is advised by Shiva to take on the role of Tridev's mother. Indra is perturbed by the penance of Anusuya and he tri es to disturb her worship in the form of sage Atri but is recognized and admonis hed by Anusuya. Tridev's decide to test the worship of Anusuya. EPISODE 110 Anusuya comes to her adobe with husband Atri. Tridev's in the guise of sages com e to Anusuya's adobe and ask for alms. Anusuya turns all three of them into sibl ings and breast-feeds them. Narad informs Tridev's wives about this incident. Al l three come to Anusuya's hut and request her to bring their husbands in origina l Tridev's form into one as Dattatraya. Shiva gives a boon to Anusuya that she w ill become the mother of sage Durvasa. EPISODE 111 Durvasa is in the habit of becoming angry and annoyed on every small or big inci dent. Narad advises him to do penance in Kashi to control his anger. In spite of his penance for a very long time, Durvasa is not rewarded for the same and henc e becomes very angry. Shiva calms him and names the location of Durvasa's penanc e as Kameshwar. Durvasa on his way home, puts a curse on Menaka. EPISODE 112 Menaka without caring for Durvasa's curse breaks Vishwamitra's worship and Shaku ntala is born out of the union of Vishwamitra and Menaka. She grows up in the he rmitage of sage Kanva. King Dushyant visits the hermitage and gets married to Sh akuntala without anybody in witness. One day Durvasa comes to Kanva's hermitage and calls Shakuntala repeatedly. She is engrossed in the memory of Dushyant and fails to reply Durvasa. VOLUME 23 Episode 113 To 117 EPISODE 113 Parvati is musing over Durvasa's perpetual anger. Shakuntala goes to the palace

of King Dushyant and reminds him of their marriage but he does not recognize her and she leaves the palace. On being admonished by Narad, Menaka takes her daugh ter Shakuntala to the hermitage of sage Mareech. King Dushyant recognizes the ri ng given to Shakuntala when presented to him by a fisherman. Dushyant, his son S arvdaman and wife Shakuntala are reunited in the hermitage of Mareech. EPISODE 114 Nandi brings ashes for Shiva who starts smearing his body with the same. A demon appears out of the ashes, named Bhasmasur, who is ordered by Shiva to search fo r more ash. During the search he meets other demons. On learning about his origi n, demons ask Bhasmasur to get a boon from Shiva. Shiva blesses Bhasmasur with a boon that ar.y living being on which Bhasmasur places his hand will turn into a shes. Blessed with this, he creates terror in the world. Brahma and Vishnu assur e Narad that Bhasmasui s end is very near. EPISODE 115 On the pleas of Narad, Shiva calls Bhasmasur who comes and casts a longing look at Parvati.Shiva becomes very angry at his behaviour. Bhasmasur tries to turn Sh iva into ashes but Shiva escapes. Thereafter, Vishnu turns into a lovely maiden and trick Bhasmasur to turn into ashes himself. Sometimes later, Narad narrates the tale of Bhavnath to his disciples in which Indra & Shachi declare Vishnu as great, while Vrihaspati declares Brahma as great. EPISODE 116 Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu summon Indra Shachi & Vrihaspati to Kailash to admonish them on creating a controversy about the greatness of one against the other. Sa raswali also goes to Vaikunth to discuss about the same. Brahma and Vishnu reque st Shiva to appear as Bhavnath, but he disappears. Parvati gets annoyed at this and orders Saraswati & Lakshmi to send Brahma and Vishnu to Kailash. EPISODE 117 Parvati admonishes Brahma and Vishnu as she holds them responsible for Shiva acq uiring the form of Bhavnath. She orders everyone to search for Shiva. Ganesha lo cates Shiva's flame from which Shiva appears. Worried Saraswati comes to Kailash and informs Shiva that Brahma has turned into statue like stance. Shiva touches Brahma with his trident. Brahma awakens and yawns from which Sindoori appears. VOLUME 24 Episode 118 To 122 EPISODE 118 Sindoori is being discussed in Ganesha's abode. Narad, Brahma and Saraswati disa ppear to escape Sindoori. At Kailash Sindoori takes everyone in her clutches. On a call from Parvati, Ganesha kills Sindoori with his trunk. Narad & Parvati go to the hermitage of sage Chyavan. EPISODE 119 In the hermitage of sage Chyavan, Sukanya enamors both Narad & Parvati. Out of t his attraction, a demon named Madasur is born. On Narad's advice, he is sent to Shukracharya who advises him to worship Shakti. Ganesha requests mother Parvati not to give a boon to Madasur but she still grants him a boon. Shukracharya advi ses Madasur to get married to King Pushpsen's daughter Tilottama. On assurance f rom Ganesha, Tilottama selects Madasur as her husband. EPISODE 120 On enquiry from Ganesha, Parvati explains why she is treating Madasur like a son . Tilottama gives birth to three sons Dhanasur, Lolupasur & Vilasasur. Tilottama stops them from doing wrong deeds but Shukracharya takes all three of them to h is hermitage and teaches them to be warriors. They conquer the three worlds.

EPISODE 121 Narad appears before the Gods and advises them to throw out Dhanasur from Heaven by use of force. Gods attack Dhanasur when he is getting ready to go to earth t o pacify his mother. Dhanasur imprisons all the Gods. Shukracharya admonishes Ti lottama for worshipping Ganesha. Gods pray to Ganesha for rescue. Parvati advise s Ganesha to punish demons in a way that their lives are spared. EPISODE 122 Ganesha calls the demons, Gods and Shukracharya on Kailash and sends Tilottama's sons to the bottom of earth in spite of protest from Shukracharya. He also advi ses Tilottama & Nladasur to do good deeds on earth. Lakshmi also desires to have a son like Ganesha. Shukracharya summons Damanasur and provides him and his sol diers VOLUME 25 Episode 123 To 127 EPISODE 123 Ganesha is pleased by Lakshmi's worship and appears in Vaikunth as a child who i s named Purnanand. On being incited by Shukracharya, Damanasur attacks abode of Ganesha. Ganesha destroys all the demon warriors. Damanasur again on advice of S hukracharya attacks King Vrishabhsen but is killed by Yurnanand. Lakshmi comes t o Kailash searching for Purnanand. Narad advises Shukracharya to go to Shiva at Kailash. EPISODE 124 Shukracharva declares fast unto death at Kailash for the betterment of demons. S hiva on an assurance that demons will stay within limits agrees to the prosperit y of demons. Subsequently, on the wish of Shiva, three powerful demons Danu and his two sons Rambh & Karambh appear. Shukracharya advices them to act with restr ain but they attack Heaven and are defeated by Gods and Danu is killed in the fi ght. Rambh and Karambh are crowned as king of demons by derni-god Samparan. EPISODE 125 Shiva and Yarvati assure demons about their welfare. Shukracharya advises Rambh - Karambh to acquire as much power as possible. They start penance on Narad's su ggestion. Indra becomes angry and kills Karambh in the guise of a crocodile but his effort to kill Rambh also is foiled by the God of fire. Angry Indra orders h im out of heaven but the Gods object to this behavior of Indra. EPISODE 126 Shukracharya on being admonished by Yarvati goes into exile. Rambh tries to comm it suicide on the death of Karambh. God of fire dissuades him and prophesizes th at he will become father of a lustrous son. On earth, Shyamala, daughter of king Yrithvisen, develops horns on her head because of the curse of a saint. A demon tries to molest her but Rambh saves her. He declares her as his queen. Subseque ntly, Rambh is killed by the same demon. Shyamala tries to commit suicide but is saved by demi-god Samparan. EPISODE 127 Demi-god Samparan prays to God of fire to light up the pyre of Rambh. The moment pyre catches fire Shyamala jumps into it. Simultaneously Rambh's son Mahishasur appears from the pyre and declares demon's supremacy in the world. Samparan adv ises Mahishasur to pray to Brahma. Gods fall to detract Mahishasur to pray to Br ahma. VOLUME 26

Episode 128 to 133 EPISODE 128 Narad goes to the abode of Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh but is unable to find out abo ut the future of Mahishasur. Brahma gives a number of boons to Mahishasur includ ing being invincible. Mahishasur sends a messenger to Indra asking him to accept ?vlahishasur as his master. Indra attacks the messenger who is saved by Vrihasp ati; Gods go to Brahma for advice and agrees to accompany them to Vishnu and Shi va. EPISODE 129 Demon Shambhasur gifts Mahishasur a weapon that has heavenly powers and advices him to attack Heaven. Vishnu advises Brahma and Gods to seek guidance from Shiva . Shiva indicates the emergence of super power. Indra loses in fight to Mahishas ur ascends on the throne of Heaven. All the three Goddesses merge together as a flame that is witnessed by Narad. EPISODE 130 GANPATI SPECIAL EPISODE 131 All the gods hide in jungle to escape atrocities of Mahishasur. They reach Kaila sh on advice of Narad. On request from Shiva, the mother with eighteen arms and sitting on lion appears. All present there, give an offering of their strength t o her. Mother fights with Mahishasur and cuts his head, which again rejoins the body. EPISODE 132 Once Mahishasur's head rejoins with the body, he starts creating more destructio n with his heavenly powers. Mother takes the form of Mahakali and kills Mahishas ur. Shiva lies on ground to pacify the anger of Mahakali. Once her feet tread on the chest of Shiva and her anger vanishes due to remorse. Shiva-Parvati gets an noyed with each other while playing 'Chausar' and go to unknown places. Shiva go es to persuade Parvati to come back. EPISODE 133 This episode is a recap of the preceding episodes, therefore not included in thi s DVD. VOLUME 27 Episode 134 To 138 EPISODE 134 Kartikeya narrates the story of Shiva - Mahananda to Parvati who is in the guise of Parvatiya. She laments on this development. Kartikeya destroys the temple of Mahananda in anger. On the disappearance of gems studded 'Shivling', Somsen dec ides to end his life in a pyre. Everyone is petrified on this news. On Somsen's entering the pyre. Mahananda also jumps in. On request of all present there, Shi va appears and blesses Mahananda and also orders Ganesha to control the situatio n. EPISODE 135 Nagrani admonishes Manibhadra on being attracted towards a prince from earth. Ev en then she protects prince Chitraangad from enemies. Simantini coaxes out the p rophecy of an astrologer from her parents that she will become a widow at the ag e of 20. She decides to stay spinster throughout her life but her father King Ch andrasen orders her wedding. In the light of astrologer's prediction, Chitraanga d advises Simantini to worship Parvati who then goes to an unknown place to wors hip.

EPISODE 136 Simantini could not be traced in spite of best efforts. Parvati assures Simantin i about her future. All the princes who have gathered to be selected by Simantin i leave after hearing the prophecy about her. Simantini & Chitraangad get marrie d. Once while traveling in a boat, Chitraangad drowns and reaches the bottom of earth. EPISODE 137 In Hindu religion each and every auspicious work begins only after worshipping G od Gajanana i.e. Ganpati. This practice of worshipping God Ganpati has been cont inued since ages. People believe that by worshipping Ganpati all their problems and tensions are solved and happiness spreads everywhere. Ganpati, son of Shiva and Parvati also has various other names that suggest the qualities in him. EPISODE 138 Snake queen accepts arrival of Chitraangad as will of Shiva. On the suggestion o f snake Queen, Shiva orders Vasuki for the wedding of Chitraangad with Manibhadr a, Vasuki declares Chitraangad as future King. Shiva explains to Parvati about S ilnantini and Chitraangad. VOLUME 28 Episode 139 To 144 EPISODE 139 On Parvati's advice, Manibhadra took back Chitraangad to the earth. Shiva narrat es the story of Vrishdhwaj to Narad. V_rishdhwaj fall's in love with a woman fro m a painting. Even after knowing that any person who sues that woman in painting will die in a year, he is determined to meet her. EPISODE 140 Though Vrishdhwaj and Padmaja secretly get married in front of symbol of Shiva, Ketumati refuses to accept Padmaja as her daughter-in-law. Ketumati orders Vrish dhwaj and Padmaja to leave the palace and they follow the orders but are killed by King Padmanabh in the jungle. EPISODE 141 Kanappa, Anjaiya, Veni and Desia remember their previous birth after drinking wa ter. Kanappa's father Shivappa had thrown him out of the house when he said some thing against killing of animals. When Veni introduced Kanappa to her father, he insulted him. A snake bites Shivappa when an arrow fired by him hit the symbol of Shiva. EPISODE 142 When blood doesn't stop from one eye of Shiva's symbol, Kanappa offers both his eyes to Shiva. Pleased with Kanappa's act, Shiva not only blesses Kanappa with e yes but also takes him along with Veni to Kailash. EPISODE 143 Sumati shows disrespect towards men, which ends up with a fight between Vajrasen and Sumati. Vajrasen defeats Sumati and She deceitfully runs away to save her l ife and hides in a temple. Goddess Parvati in the guise of a priestess advises S umati to fast for sixteen Mondays. Sumati refuses to do so and Vajrasen finds he r hiding place and he takes her away with him. EPISODE 144 King Bhadrasen requests Dhuranati to save his daughter Sumati, but she refuses t o do so. At the same time Vajrasen arrives with Sumati to Dhuranati's hermitage. They get married in the presence of both Bhadrasen and Dhuranati. Pleased to se

e them getting married to each other, Vajrasen's father dies in happiness. Vajra sen thinks Sumati to be a bad woman and starts disliking her but realizes his mi stake later and apologizes for it. VOLUME 29 Episode 145 To 149 EPISODE 145 Shiva decides to test Dhuranati's belief in him. He sends Narad to keep a watch. Here Dhuranati worships Shiva to create rift between Vajrasen and Sumati and or ders Vajrasen to divorce her. Sumati gives birth to a side child. Vajrasen think s that this happened because he did not follow Dhuranati's orders. He orders a m inister from his court to leave Sumati and her child in the jungle. Shiva decide s to take care of both of them. EPISODE 146 Minister leaves Sumati and her child in the jungle. Narad following rs reaches the jungle in guise of a small boy. He advises Sumati to r sixteen Mondays. He names the child as Bhadrayu. This time Sumati d's advice. Narad then advises Dhuranati to give away his negative, s and deeds. EPISODE 147 Shiva saves Bhadrayu from his illness. Shiva and Narad reach Dhuranati's hermita ge, at the same time Sumati reaches there with Bhadrayu, Dhuranati apologizes fo r his past mistakes. Shiva offers his blessings on BhadraYt! and makes him a str ong man. EPISODE 148 Shiva and Narad explain the entire story to Parvati and she forgets her agitatio n. Vajrasen's minister tries to take over his kingdom. Dhuranati sends Bhadrayu to save his father. Bhadrayu fights the battle and saves Vajrasen's life. Dhuran ati offers Nishidraj's daughter, Kirtimalini's hand to Bhadrayu and they both ge t married. EPISODE 149 Shiva and Parvati decide to test Bhadrayu's faith on them. They go to the jungle in the guise of a priest and priestess, where a lion attacks Parvati; Bhadrayu puts all his efforts to save her. On failing to do so he decides to end his life in a pyre. Shiva and Parvati bless him by appearing in their real form. Shukrac harya orders Gayasur, son of Mahishasur to pray to Brahma to gain extra powers. VOLUME 30 Episode 150 To 154 EPISODE 150 Gayasur succeeds in gaining powers from Brahma and starts destructing everything on the earth and from the heaven. All the gods go to Brahma for advice. Brahma tries to assure them of their safeness. Indra refuses to listen to him and sends his 'Apsara' (dancing girls from the heaven) to Gayasur's court. Narad advises the sages from Kashi to worship Shiva. EPISODE 151 Gayasur throws all the dancing girls sent by Indra into the sea. Vishnu assures Lakshmi that the time has come to end Gayasur's era. He advises Narad, that Brah ma twists his words while blessing Gayasur. Shukracharya advices him to stop the prayers offered by the sages of Kashi. He refuses to listen to Shukracharya and tries to attack Saraswati.

EPISODE 152 After refusing to disturb the Brahmins of Kashi in their worship, Gayasur goes f irst to Brahma's and then Vishnu's abode but is admonished both by Saraswati & L akshmi. While returning, he sees Parvati all alone at Kailash and goes after her . Ganesha attacks him and throws him out. Injured Gayasur falls in the hermitage of Shukracharya. On order of Shukracharya, he goes to Kashi to disturb the wors hiping Brahmins but Shiva appears in there as a divine light. EPISODE 153 In spite of Shiva's warning, Gayasur continues to harass the Brahmins in Kashi e ngaged in worshipping. On this, Shiva kills him and dons the skin of Gayasur in accordance with his last wish. Gayasur is freed from his sins. On Kailash, Brahm a, Vishnu along with others shows their gratefulness to Shiva and thanks him on "Mahashivratri." EPISODE 154 The meaning of the word Shiva is welfare of all. Shiva blesses both his disciple s as well as non-believers. Shiva is called "Mahadev" because all Gods revere hi m. He is also referred to as "Vishwanatl" because of being the protector of all who are helpless. He is also referred to as "Trilochan" because past, present an d future are encompassed in his eyes. As he can be made easily happy, he is refe rred to as - 'BHOLENATH'. He judges ever- human being by his/her deeds and rewar ds accordingly. VOLUME 31 Episode 155 To 160 EPISODE 155 Shiva informs Parvati that Tara is under duress. Parvati is astonished to find t he moon missing from Shiva's head. In spite of Rohini's enquiry, Chandra does no t give his reasons of uneasiness. When Budh is enquiring about his mother Tara's problems, Shiva-Parvati appears before them and Tara explains her problem. On r epeated enquiries by Rohini, Chandra admits his misdemeanor with Tara. Shiva adm onishes Chandra but then puts him back on his head and hence is also called Chan drashekhai . Budh goes to Vrihaspati with his mother but is insulted by him. EPISODE 156 King Il's royal astrologer informs him that he will be blessed with his heir but not from his wife. Budh informs Narad that he is going to earth on advice of Vr ihaspati. He seeks permission from King Il to do his penance in the jungle of Ka myak. The king recognizes him as his heir. EPISODE 157 On Kailash, Narad tries to enter the abode of Parvati but is prevented by Ganesh a. Shiva himself goes to Parvati and finds her very upset. Parvati expresses her desire for a place called Shakti to be built next to the jungle of Kamyak. The Sun discusses the situation arisen out of Budh's absence. Shiva assumes the form of a female in 'Shaktivan'. EPISODE 158 Queen Vijaya is engrossed in worship of Shiva for blessing of a son. Shiva takes the guise of a female and sends back Naag, Chandra, and trident to Kailash. Roh ini admonishes Chandra when he is advising his son Budh. Narad declares that he will unravel the mystery of Shiva in the female form, but is admonished by Laksh mi. However, in Brahmalok he comes to know that the mystery is related to King I l and Budh. EPISODE 159

Parvati is astonished to know the blessings of Shiva on his disciples. King iI a nd Queen Vijaya, on hearing of the presence of Shiva and Parvati in Shaktivan, p roceed to that location. On reaching there, Vijaya finds her husband has turned into a female. Shiva informs Vijaya that she will become the mother of a son, Bu dh. On Parvati's request, Shiva agrees to return to Kailash. EPISODE 160 On repeated requests of Indrani, Gods, Brahma & Vishnu, Shiva sheds the form of female and returns to Kailash with Parvati. Before departing, they bless Budh an d Tara. Vrihaspati feels pleased on being felicitated by the Gods. Sbukracharya feels like committing suicide on the defeat of demons. VOLUME 32 Episode 161 To 166 EPISODE 161 Shukracharya decides to commit suicide by fire but is advised against it by Nara d. He advises him to seek the blessings of Shiva. Both Shiva and Ganesha promise not to kill any demon. Satisfied Shukrac:harya, summons demon Ruru who tells hi m about his son Durgarn. EPISODE 162 Shukracharya is pleased to see the huge form of Durgam. Durgam decides to do som ething great for demons. Narad becomes arrogant by the praise of his musical ins truments. Shiva, in order to rid Narad of his arrogance, inspires him to go to P arvati. He is astonished to hear the future happenings. Shukracharya provides tw o extra arms to Durgamasur so that he can carry all the four Vedas. EPISODE 163 Indra notices the two new arms of Durgam and attacks him during his sleep. Shukr acharya forces Indra to flee. Vishnu, in Vaikvmth, reminds Narad of his duties. Gods are scared of the high intensity of penance by Durgam and they pray to Brah ma for protection. Durgam obtains Vedas from Brahma and proceeds towards Pataal. EPISODE 164 Durgamasur commits atrocities on imprisoned Vedas, thus creating a reign of terr or in ihe worid. Bholenath advises anxious Parvati to wait till the evildoing of a person reaches to its extreme. Narad advises Gods to leave Heaven but Indra o pposes the suggestion. EPISODE 165 Durgam defeats weakened Gods and becomes the King of Heaven. Vrihaspati and Nara d fail in their efforts to make the sages understand the cause of these happenin gs. Indra apologizes to Vrihaspali who in turn gathers all Gods to go to Kailash for destruction of Durgam. EPISODE 166 Responding to the pleas of Gods and human beings, Parvati appears as Goddess Sha kti. All living beings in the world are crying of hunger and thirst due to the V edas being captured by Durgam. Shakti appears as Goddess Shakumbari who produces greenery all over. Shakti kills Durgamasur and Shukracharya returns the four Ve das to Brahma. VOLUME 33 Episode 167 To 171 EPISODE 167 Shiva appears before sage Markendeya and blesses him with a son. His wife Sutapa

is deeply worried due to the limited life span of their son. Markendeya advises her to pray to Shiva. EPISODE 168 Shiva satisfies Parvati and Narad about their queries regarding Markendeya. Mark endeya is deeply absorbed in Shiva's worship. On the failure of his messengers, Yamraj personally goes to lake Markendeya's life but at that moment, Shiv-Parvat i appears there. EPISODE 169 Shiv-Parvati admonishes Yamraj and then gives their blessings to Markendeya. Par vati, Laxmi and Saraswati are all keen to learn the ultimate knowledge. Narad al so goes all over to attain the ultimate knowledge. Advice given to him is to inv olve himself in Shiva's worship. EPISODE 170 Narad witnesses Dhrom being cursed by guru. Bholenath assures Narad that he will learn the ultimate knowledge from Parvati. He specifies that such knowledge is imparted to only those who are pure at heart - disciples of Shiva. Shiva also ad vises Parvati on the subject. EPISODE 171 Shiva comes to Amarnath cave to impart the ultimate knowledge to Parvati but Par vati falls asleep in the beginning of the discourse itself. Sage Dhaumya, in the guise of a pigeon, receives the ultimate knowledge instead of Parvati. Shiva ge ts very angry when he hears strange sounds instead of Parvati's acknowledgement. VOLUME 34 Episode 172 To 173 (B) EPISODE 172 As ordered by Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati, Rishi Dhromya leaves for his guru's a shram. Lord Shiva also agrees lo be present in the "Shivling" at the Amarnath ca ves. Rishi Aurva is pleased to see Rishi Dhromya. When Narad comes to know the s ecret of the Amarnath cave from Dhromya, he tells the same to Lord Vishnu and Lo rd Brahma. Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma, Devi Saraswati, Devi Lakshmi, Narad and Shi vgans appear at the Amarnath Cave. EPISODE 173 As the Gods sing praises of Lord Shiva, Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati appear befor e them. In the new chapter, Bahirshmati reminds Priyavrat about his duty to rede fine the boundaries of the earth. Lord Brahma appears before Priyavrat and tells him that Vishwakarma will be of help to him. Priyavral and Bali irshmaii pray t o goddess of earth. Narad meets goddess of earth and requests her to help Priyav rat and Bahirshmati. Priyavrat carries out his duties successfully. Lord Shiva b lesses Priyavrat and Bahirshmati, saying that they will be remembered forever. EPISODE 173 (A) (Special Devotional "BHAKT PRIYAVRAT" Stories) Shanidev accuses Suryadev of killing his mother. Though Suraydev tries to explai n that his mother is not dead, Shanidev refuses to believe. Devi Saraswati learn s from Lord Brahma the reason for the enmity between Suryadev and Shanidev. Vish wakarma and his wife pray to Suryadev and request him to marry their daughter Sa ngya. Suryadev appears and tells them to talk to his father Rishi Kashvap. After getting the permission from Rishi Kashyap and his wife, they get married. Narad guides Dharmaraj and Chitragupta. Lord Brahma tells them that Yamdev will be bo rn as a son of Suryadev and Sangya. EPISODE 173 (B) (Special Devotional "BHAKT PRIYAVRAT" Stories)

Lord Brahma clears the doubts of Devi Saraswati. Sangya gives birth to Yam and Y ami. Sangya and Suryadev have an argument and Sangya leaves Suryalok. Unable to bear the absence of her mother, Yam i overcome with gift and goes down to earth in the form of water and becomes river Yamuna. After leaving Suryalok, Sangya go es to her father's house but she is not allowed to stay there. On being ordered by Lord Brahma, Narad helps Sangya and guides her. VOLUME 35 Episode 173 (C) To 176 EPISODE 173 (C) (Special Devotional "BHAKT PRIYAVRAT" Stories) Devi Saraswati tells Lord Brahma that Suryadev should have understood Sangya and stopped her but Lord Brahma tells her that Sangya is responsible for her plight . Sangya prays to Lord Vishnu. Pleased hv her prayers, Lord Vishnu appear and br ings out Chhaya from within Sangya and orders her to go to Suryalok. lie then tu rns Sangya into a horse and tells her to pray to Suryadev. Chhaya becomes the mo ther of Shanidev and Tapti. Shanidev accuses Suryadev to be partial and does not give tight to Suryalok and Suryadev replies that Shanidev is responsible for th is happening. Chhaya supports Shanidev and they leave Suryalok. Chhaya and Tapti go with Shanidev to Shanilok and they are distressed to hear the waiting of lot s of people. EPISODE 173 (D) (Special Devotional "BHAKTPRIYAVRAT" Stories) Not being able to accept the stay in Shanilok, Chhaya leaves the place. Despite Tapli's plea Chhaya leaves her. Lord Brahma satisfies Narad. Pleased with the de votion of Sangya, Suryadev turns her back into her original form. In the new cha pter, Jayant and Jayanti, the children of Lord Indra, visit Kachh where Indra an d Shachi also come. Indra out of arrogance is not pleased with the way Kachh spo ke to him. Lord Shiva, in order to maintain peace between the Devtas and Asurs, calls Brihaspali and Shukracharya. Elsewhere, Mahasur decides to capture heaven. EPISODE 174 Listening to Shukracharya and Narad's talk about friendship, Mahasur tells his g uru that he will attack heaven. Indra refuses to extend his hand of friendship t o the Asurs accusing his guru of being a traitor. I3rihaspati and Shukracharya g o to Kailash to tell Lord Shiva about their inability to perform the task given to them. The war starts between Devtas and Asurs. Mahasur and other Asurs fall d ead in the hermitage of Shukracharya after India's attack. After a conflict with his conscience, Shukracharya decides to use the Sanjivani Mantra to bring the A surs back to life. EPISODE 175 Shiva takes back from Shukracharya the power of bringing the dead back lo life a s he was misusing it. Indra decides to take advantage of Shukrac:harya's penance . jayanti instead of disturbing Shukracharya's worship gets enamored by his beli ef in Shiva. Shiva is pleased by his penance and blesses him with many powers. S hukracharya accepts jayanti as his wife. EPISODE 176 Indra hatches a plot when he hears that Shukracharya and Jayanti have gone to an unknown place. Vrihaspati, after taking permission front Shiva, goes to Shukrac harya's hermitage in his guise itself. Vrihaspati in the guise of Shukracharya i s successful in turning demons as disciples of Shiva. VOLUME 36 Episode 177 To 182 EPISODE 177

Shukracharya is astonished to find Vrihaspati disguised as his double. He puts a curse on the demons and leaves the hermitage. Indra gets agitated on Vrihaspati , as he could not attain any powers. On advise of' Devyani & Jayanti, Shukrar;ha rya forgives the demons. Vrihaspati s son - Kach proceeds to Shukracharya's herm itage to learn the power of bringing dead to life but goes to Kailash on advice of Narad. After obtaining blessing of Shiva, he goes to Shukrac;harya. EPISODE 178 Shukracharya accepts Vrihaspati's son Kach as his disciple. Demon Mahasur gets K ach killed in the jungle but Shukracharya makes him alive by his powers. Shiva i ndicates Narad regarding threat to Shukracharya's life. Mahasur threatens Shukra charya with dire consequences and is admonished by Devyani. EPISODE 179 Mahasur declares destruction of Kach. Shukracharya assures Narad regarding Kach' s safety. Demons are successful in killing Kach in the night and burn his body. They also mix the ashes of Kach's body in liquor and give it to Shukracharya to drink. On being admonished by Devyani, Shukracharya goes to Kailash. Shiva makes Kach alive in the stomach of Shukracharya itself and brings him out alive. EPISODE 180 Shukracharya is worshipping to impart the power of restoring dead back to life t o Kach. Narad gives an indication of Kac:h being alive to Devyani. Malrasui s so ldiers are searching for Shukracharya and Kac;h. Kach, in the meanwhile, have le arnt the power of restoring dead back to life in the stomach of Shukracharya. On the instructions from Shukracharya, Kach tears open his stomach and comes out t hus killing Shukracharya; Kach ignores the suggestions of Indra and restores the life of Shukracharya. EPISODE 181 This episode is a recap of the preceding episodes, therefore not included in thi s DVD. EPISODE 182 During astral travel, Parvati insists for a place with all luxuries. On her insi stence, Shiva builds a golden palace, which is called Lanka. Sage Visharwa perfo rms the rites for entering the palace. Visharwa's wife Kekasi incites him to ask for Lanka as payment for the rites. On this, Parvati puts a curse on them that this very Lanka will be the cause of their destruction. Visharcva gifts Lanka to his elder son, Kuber. VOLUME 37 Episode 183 To 187 EPISODE 183 Shiva satisfies the curiosity of Parvati. He then suggests Vishnu to appear on e arth in two incarnations in Tretayug. He also blesses Renuka that she will becom e a mother. King Kartveerya is worshipping Dattatreya. Kekasi and Visharwa are a rguing about the deeds of Ravana. Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Vibhishan start worship ping Brahmadev. EPISODE 184 Kartveerya along with Ravana and his brothers are doing penance. On being remind ed by Brahma, Gods reluctantly donate cow Kamdhenu to Jamdagni. Kartveerya, afte r obtaining a boon becomes conceited. All the four sons of Jamdagni are busy wor shipping Shiva. EPISODE 185 Renuka is attracted towards demi-god Chitrarath. Sage Jamdagni becomes very angr

y and orders his son Ram to behead his mother Renuka and three brothers. Later h e repents and brings all of them back to life. Ravana in order to get a boon fro m Brahma cues his head and puts it in fire. Brahma decides to grant a boon to Ra vana. EPISODE 186 Indra is assured both by other Gods and Narad. Brahma gives a boon of eternal sl eep to Kumbhkaran and of ten heads of Ravana. Sage Jamdagni and Renuka permit Ra m to proceed to jungle to worship Shiva. Ravana on instructions from mother Keka si proceeds on a mission to conquer the world. EPISODE 187 Pleased with the devotion of Ram, Lord Shiva blesses him and gives him a Parshu and his Dhanush. He also tells him that henceforth he will be known as'Parshuram .' Ravana on the behest of his mother Kekasi wages war on Kuber and takes away t he Pushpak Viman. On request of Narad, Lord Shiva orders Nandi to stop the person who passes Kaila sh on the Rzshpak Viman. Nandi takes on the face of a monkey and along with the others goes to stop Ravana. VOLUME 38 Episode 188 To 192 EPISODE 188 On the instructions from Shiva, monkey faced Nandi obstructs the path of Ravana. Ravana defeats Nandi and challenges Bholenath for fight. After being defeated b y Shiva, Ravana tries to get the mystery of "Shiva Tatva" through the help of Va gdevi. Shiva is pleased by this and gifts mace Chandrahas to Ravana. EPISODE 189 On the instructions of Shiva, God of air introduces the sacred light into Anjana 's body. It illuminates her body as well as the surroundings. God, demon and hum an beings are all working as per Shiva's directions. Sage Visharwa is making an offering of water to Sun. The lord of Air and Water are trying to stop Kavan but fails to do so. EPISODE 190 Kekasi's prayer to Lord Shiva worries Vayudev and Varundev. Vishrawa gets worrie d on finding Kekasi at the Ashram. Indra does not allow Kekasi to complete her p rayer. Kekasi blames Rishi Vishrawa for her prayer not being completed. Narad fe els a little tense after speaking with Lord Shiva. Ravan returns to Lanka with P ushpak Viman after defeating Kuber. Ravan satisfies his mother Kekasi and decide s to bring Lord Shiva to Lanka. Elsewhere Rishi Jamadagni and his wife Renuka we lcome King Kartvirya to their Ashram. On seeing the power of the divine cow Kamd henu, King Kartvirya becomes surprised. EPISODE 191 Greedy Kartveerya snatches Kamdhenu from Jamdagni and when the Rishi tries to st op him, Kartveerya defeats him and takes away the sacred cow. Kartveerya torture s the divine cow when it does not heed to his requests. After obtaining the bles sings of his parents, Parshuram goes to teach Kartveerya a lesson. Kartveerya's son kills Rishi Jamdagni but with Lord Shiva's blessing he comes ba ck to life. When Parshuram learns this, he vows to kill all the Kshatriyas on ea rth. Twenty one times Parshuram rids the earth of Kshatriyas. He performs the As hwamedh Yagna and gives the earth devoid of Kshatriya to Rishi Kashyap and goes to do penance. EPISODE 192 Hungry Bajrang, thinking the Sun to be a fruit, gobbles it. Seeing this Indra at

tacks him with his Vajrayudh. Lord Brahma alongwith Devas go to remove the fierc e of Devi Anjana and King Kesri. They also bless Bajrang with a lot of strength. Lord Brahma then gives Bajrang the name Hanuman. Meanwhile in Kailash despite repeated requests from Ravana, Lord Shiva does not appear before him. VOLUME 39 Episode 193 To 197 EPISODE 193 Agitated Ravan, on not finding Bholenath, cuts his head and offers it to Shiva. Shiva is pleased by his worship and appears before him. He also expresses his in ability to go to Lanka but gives Ravan Shivling and advises him to take it to La nka without putting it on the ground. This event disturbs the Gods. EPISODE 194 Indra and other Devtas go to Lord Vishnu for help. On the advice of Lord Vishnu, Devtas request Lord Ganesh to help them. Lord Ganesh goes to earth in the guise of a Charwaha, Ravan gives the 'Shivling' to Ganesh and goes for his evening pr ayer. Lord Ganesh puts the'Shivling' on the ground and disappears. Ravan tries t o lift it but fails. On the request of Devtas, Lord Shiva introduces the divine light into the 'Shivling' and names it Vaidyanath Jyotirling. On hearing the new s of 'Shivling' being brought to Lanka by Ravan all the citizens are happy with joy. EPISODE 195 Indra and other Devtas are delighted on the failure of Ravan. On finding out tha t Ravan couldn't bring the 'Shivling' to Lanka, Kekasi decides to kill herself. Ravan asks for forgiveness and embarks to conquer the world. Lord Shiva guides N arad and Nandi. On hearing the news of Ravan's victory on Usherbeej, pleased Kek asi prays to Lord Shiva. Devshri Narad goes to Lord Shiva and is advised to use his wit to turn Ravan's attention away from heaven. EPISODE 196 Kekasi and Mandodari rejoice on the success of Meghnad. Coming to know of Narad talking to Ravan, Indra gets furious. Narad advises Ravan to leave heaven and in stead attack Yamlok. When Ravan says that Meghnad will go with him to Yamlok, Na rad stops him and asks Meghnad to do'Agnishthom' yagya. When Kekasi comes to kno w of this, she gets angry. Lord Brahma stops the fight between Ravan and Yam. Ya m accepts defeat. EPISODE 197 Meghnad completes his 'Agnishthom' yagya and becomes more powerful. Ravan conque rs Yamlok and Naglok. Meghnad joins Ravan. Narad cautions Indra. Indra other Dev tas go to Vishnulok for help. Lord Vishnu tells the Devtas that he will kill Rav an at the appropriate time. Lord Shiva tells Narad the reason as to why Indra wo uld be defeated by Ravan in the war. Indra kills Sumali on the battle. Meghnad t ies up the Devtas with his Astras and they call out to Lord Brahma for help. He also brings Somali back to life. Since Meghnad defeat Indra, Ravan names him as Indrajit. VOLUME 40 Episode 198 To 202 EPISODE 198 Ravan and Meghnad returns after conquer the world. Kekasi is angry with Ravan an d Meghnad for not bringing Indra with them to Lanka. Shoorpankha, the sister of Ravan gets her nose cut and comes to the palace accusing Lakshman of misbehavior

. Ravan promises her to punish Ram and Lakshman. Kavan kidnaps Devi Sita. Lord R am decides to attack Lanka. Lord Ram is advised b_y Narad to place a Shivling on the banks of the ocean. He then asks Lord Ram to call Ravan to perform the rite s to establish a Shivling. When Ravan refuses the offer, he gives the honor to V ibhishan. Pleased Lord Shiva appears and blesses them saying that the Shivling w ill henceforth be known as the'Rameshwar Jyotirling.' EPISODE 199 Kumbhkaran gets angry at the egoistic attitude of Meghnad. Kumbhkaran and Ravana leave for Sahyadri to request kind Bhallatak for the help of his army, where th ey are given a warm welcome at the palace. Bhallatak's daughter Karkati, since c hildhood, had heard a lot about the velour of Kumbhkaran and gets attracted to h im at first sight. Kumbhkaran too could not take his eyes away from her. Raktamb ri meets Kumbhkaran on the request of Karkati and advices him to meet Karkati in the forest. When Ravana feels slighted by Bhallatak. Kumbhkaran and Akampan cal ms him down. Kumbhkaran refuses the love of Karkati because he would sleep for 6 months as per the boon given by Lord Brahma. Karkati however succeeds in convin cing him. EPISODE 200 Kaktambri who is scared by the nature of Ravana was surprised by the talk of Kar kati and reminds Bhallatak of his self-respect. Ravana instead of getting angry at Karkati's adamant gets pleased however, he gets angry at Narad's talk. When R avana tells Kumbhkaran to adopt a sinful way of affair to Karkati, he gets angry with his elder brother. Bhallatak is forced to bow before Karkati's steadfastne ss. EPISODE 201 In order to get help of Bhallatak's army, Ravana had to give his acceptance to t he marriage of Karkati and Kumbhkaran. Karkati was surprised to see Kumbhkaran s leeping on the night of their wedding. Ravana pacifies weeping Karkati and along with Kumbhkaran, Bhallatak and his army leave for Lanka and they defeated Ram's army. In order to save Kumbhkaran's child in her womb, Karkati leaves the palac e and to fulfill her revenge, Karkati starts giving lesson on warfare to her son Bhimasur. EPISODE 202 Narad gets surprised when he sees Bhimasur. Lord Brahma clears the doubt of Nara d. On hearing the angry words of Karkati, Bhimasur announces that he will take r evenge on Ram and Laxman who killed his father Kumhhkaran. After getting togethe r, the Rakshas warriors and Bhimasur decide to attack Ayodhva. VOLUME 41 Episode 203 To 206 EPISODE 203 Karkati tells the Rakshas warriors to protect Bhimasur when he is doing penance. When India and the Dev's try to kill Bhimasur, they are captured by the, Raksha s. Karkati berating the Dev's asks them to be punished. Narad saves the Dev's fr om the anger of Karkati and Lord Brahma appears before them. EPISODE 204 Karkati accuses Bhimasur of being a traitor and insults him. To satisfy Karkati, Bhimasur marches towards heaven to conquer it. Lord Vishnu admonishes the defea ted Dev's and fights with Bhimasur. Bhimasur captures Lord Vishnu. Rishi Subhadr a cautions King Sudakshan and Queen Sudakshina however; Lord Shiva protects Suda kshina from the Asurs. Narad informs Karkati about Bhimasur's success. EPISODE 205

Bhimasur marches towards Kamroop after insulating Karkati, captures King Sudaksh an and Queen Sudakshina and takes control of Kamroop. Bhimasur proceeds to kill King Sudakshan and Queen Sudakshina when Lord Shiva appears and kills Bhimasur. Lord Shiva stays there in the form of a Jyotirling, which comes to be known as B himashankar Jyolirling. EPISODE 206 Shakuni decides to take help of Rishi Durwasa to finish the Pandavas. Mahamantri Vidur cautions Duryodhan. Duryodhan tries his best to please Rishi Durwasa. Ris hi Durwasa tests Duryodhan many a times but at last, Duryodhan looses his patien ce in the service, of Rishi Durwasa. Shakuni tells the story about the "Akshay P aatra" to Duryodhan which is granted by Suryadev to Yudhishtir. Duryodhan decide s to take a boon from Rishi Durwasa to kill the Pandavas. VOLUME 42 Episode 207 To 210 EPISODE 207 Rishi Durwasa is surprised at Duryodhan request to him of being the guest of the Pandavas and leaves for the Dvaitvan but Shakuni does not allow him to go there . Draupadi takes her meal on the request of Yudhishtir. The Pandavas are pleased at the news of Rishi Durwasa's arrival but they get sad on knowing that Rishi D urwasa along with his disciples will be there for their meals. Lord Shiva guides Devarishi Narad. Pandava decide to commit suicide. Draupadi stops them and call s for Lord Krishna. EPISODE 208 By the miracle of Lord Krishna, the hunger of Rishi Durwasa and his disciples va nishes. Rishi Durwasa then decides to leave the place. Lord Krishna tells the Pa ndavas to pray to Lord Shiva to get away from the clutches of Shakuni and Duryod han. Shakuni calms down Duryodhan's anger. Agni Dev is worried by Arjun's devoti on. Indra decides not to grant any boon to Arjun. Admonished by Devarishi Narad, Indra remembers his duty. EPISODE 209 Arjun succeeds in Indra's test. Indra gives Shiva Mantra to Arjun. Shakuni calls Asur Mook. Mook appears but is angry to see Duryodhan. However, Mook promises S hakuni to kill Arjun. Lord Shiva praises Narad and gives assurances to Dev's. EPISODE 210 Bheem decides to punish Kauravas but Yudhishtir stops him. Astir Mook takes the incarnation of a pig. Lord Shiva and Shivgan take the incarnation of Bheels. Arj un and Lord Shiva kill the pig at the same time. A fight starts between Lord Shi va and Arjun because of killing the pig. Lord Shiva appears in his original form . Arjun feels guilty and decides to commit suicide. Lord Krishna guides Arjun an d at last Arjun gets the blessings of Lord Shiva.
