Building (B1) (Local Body Level)

1. Applicant submit the application seeking approval of building plan with necessary enclosure ( E ) 2. 3.
3 sets and Form 49 if the Local body fall in LPA or NTDA Area to Local body. Local Body Scrutinize the application. If local body falls in LPA/NTDA Area. The MS/CLPA/NTDA/RDD ( Single LPA local body in non plan area) returned the proposal to local body for want of particulars The MS/CLPA/NTDA/RDD ( Single LPA local body in non plan area) submit the proposal to CTCP after placing in the Authority if necessary. CTCP Scrutinize the proposal CTCP called for further particulars CTCP returned to the proposal to Local Body through CTCP/NTDA/RDD . CTCP Concern the proposal for if the proposal is satisfied all rules, regulations and norms said about approval of building plan shown in table and forward to MS/CLPA/NTDA/RDD ( for single LPA, Non Plan Area ) MS/CLPA/NTDA/RDD collect DC in name of MS in case of site lies in CLPA/NTDA Area and I & A charges if necessary. MS/CLPA/NTDA give P.P to the proposal after placing in Authority if necessary and forward to Local body. Or

1. RDD concern the proposal and forward to Local body lies in single LPA or Non plan area. 2. Local body approve the proposal and forward to the applicant after collecting necessary fees.

Building Multi-storeyed Building (MSB)

1. The applicant submit the application addressed to CTCP Chennai-2 Via LPA/NTDA/RDD 2.
seeking declaration of site as MSB area and approval of Multi-storeyed building with enclosures ( E ) to Local Body . The Local Body Scrutinize the application.

If the Local body in non plan Area/Local body resolve the resolution for declaration of the site as MSB Area and forward to MS CLPA/NTDA and RDD ( non plan Area) If the Local body in single LPA Area . Single LPA resolve the resolution in LPA and foward to RDD.

1. RDD/MS/CLPA/NTDA Scrutinize the application. 2. RDD/MS/CLPA/NTDA called for further particulars if necessary. 3. RDD/MS/CLPA/NTDA returned the proposal to local body for want of particular.

Format of Affidavit regarding stability of the building to be duly signed by the Architect, owner and structural design engineer in a Rs.100/- stamp paper. (see item no.6 of Part IB above) Structural designs are made after conducting due soil test of the site as per National Building Code, 2005 so as to be safe against all natural calamities like earthquake etc., and the structure will be safe in all respects and we all are held responsible for the structural safety/ stability.
