forty churches in the following states: Indiana, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan. In addition to this, I have spoken in two high schools, one elementary school, and several other small gatherings. My fellowship and experiences in these have been great, I have no regrets. It would take a great deal of writing to make men tion of the many kind treatments I have received in the various places I have gone; such treatments were ren dered by adults, young people and children. Thanks very much for your love and concern.
Because of a time factor and difficult traveling arrangments , it was not possible for me to visit with some brethren I knew* Please do not hold it against me; I am sorry about it.
I hope they will be good* I am glad that some congre gations have found it possible to decide on a monthly support basis for me. I realize that all congregations could not have responded in the same way; however, I hope that those who planned to discuss the matter have
come up with similar decisions.
Concerning funds for the jeep or the vehicle I will purchase, I am gladto say thiss enough money has been
raised in addition to v^at I had in Jamaica that I can
be purchased when I return home. In Jamaican currency it will cost $3200 (Most recent report, U.S. dollar
values 75^ of the Jamaican dollar.) I cannot at this
time say much about other expenses such as license and insurance. With the response I hope to get from the bre thren here in the States, my courage is increased daily.
Of the $550 monthly sipport (US dollars) I'm trying to raise, approximately $200 has been pledged. Please
pray that some day the work in Jamaica will become self'supporting.
There are a few congregations I desire to hear from
soon in regards to a Po A# system and mimeograph mach ine. That is, those congregations who decided to take up the matter. Kindly contact my forwarding agents.
Dennis was my roommate while I attended Ozark Bible College. He helped me in many ways while I Mas there.
He has since been married to a fine young lady, Janet Wagner* He is still a student at OBC. They have vol unteered to be my forwarding agents. A fine Christian couple they are, and I am confident that they will do the best possible in serving in that capacity* Please communicate with them as my new agents; arrangements have already been made*
I thank you all very much for your contributions, directly or indirectly* Your prayers have also been a blessing to me; without them I could not survive* Thank you also for sharing with me by your concern as I tra vel to the different places by bus. It was not always pleasant as you may understand, but at times I had the opportunity to share Christ with someone; this meant a
whole lot to me*
In appreciation
It was my privilege to study in two Bible Colleges, Winston-Salem Bible College, and Ozark Bible College* I
appreciate the great part they played in preparing (Do not forget the other colleges.)

Dear Brethren,
I do believe that many of you are anxiously waiting to hear from me, with such a desire you will be glad to

you greetings in our loving Savior s name. May you at this time be enjoying the blessed sunshine of God's grace
My Visit To The States And Back
My visit to America was a blessed one. I can say so because I felt that the Lord had a great hand in it. Six
months were spent there in the states,- and I do not be lieve they could have been better spent. When the time
can say, it was like leaving home to come home. I was sorry that some friends were not seen, but I'm sure that everyone understands, that time did'nt permit. As I have returned home,, the task is ahead, and I am ready to work.
I left the states on the 3rd of May with one day re maining until the expiration of my visa. My friend, bro ther and fellow minister of the gospel, Duane Gunn took me to Indianapolis where I boarded the plane for Florida.
We stopped in Orlando and once again in Miami before lea

So my
ministry continues. There are quite a few plans yet to be made, and with the help of the Lord I will be going step by step.

I am asking
your co-operation on this. It is my desire, not only to put pictures from Jamaica in them, but also pictures of brethren who are supporting me. This is not a selfish

From FAIRVIEW CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Volume I
Number 3
Time is hastening on so I must hasten to write you. As I write, "I wish above all thi ngs that you may prosper and be in health as your soul prospereth."
We have entered the summer months and, as in America, so
in Jamaica. These are busy days, especially for Christian workers. High on the list of things to be taken care of is VBS program and Christian service camps. Here several of our young people are preparing for camp. I am also preparing my self for two weeks of teaching and other activities in camp at Dint Hi 11j these are the two first weeks in August, Lord
wi11i ng.
My program has si ightl ychanged since I returned to Jama ica in May. I have visited more churches and places in six weeks here than I have over a year's period on previous oc casion. I believe you can tell the reason. It is because I am in the possession of the landrover. It is serving its
purpose very well.
I have decided to devote more time to the Clover Hill
church. Bible study has been resumed there, and with the co operation of the brethren, I am trying to get the church better organized. A vestry on the building needs to be com pleted, and several benches need to be madeo This is not a large congregation, neither is the area a large one, but
souls are there in the district to be won to the Lord. This
brethren of the congregation, but not with the church as a^ whole. It is uncertain whether I will work wi th this congre gation anymore; the Lord knows. I have not gone there to* worship since I returned. Please pray for this work; a vis

our people here at home in my limited space whenever possi ble. The word "now" means much to me; so while making plans for a bigger outreach, the available potentials are being
used.
Brethren, when I visited the states, it was not possible for me to tell in details how I would work, it was suggested
that I minister to one congregation, full time and do more evangelistic work among other churches, especially the weak ones. Teaching would also be a part of my work. That is,
to help train some of our people, plans are still under way, but I cannot at this time give you a report on it. Several calls are reaching me for help from some congregations. You will understand that I have to pray and plan wisely so that I do not spread myself out too thinly.

the church work as possible,

absent from Sunday services. Why? I was sick in bed with mumps> It was not serious, but it was necessary for me to stay in bed for several days.
Can you imagine this? Several brethren said they were glad it happened so that I could get some rest. I have some loving people working with and around me. I love them all. So much the same, my love for you all is firm. The Lord has reasons for allowing certain things to happen..11 is a peace in my mind while I shared my faith with visitors. The words

i wi 11 keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on because he trusteth in Thee," {26i3) ' B. Did you know? Apart from my news-letter, I write a 'few personal letters. Some brethren even writewithout hear ing from me. Please feel free to write if you so desire. It may be a little time before you get a reply, but you will get one so long as I am in this tabernacle. Let us keep up the mutual relationship in the Lord; the letters are very encouraging to me.
EdUIPMENT
What about the PA system and the mimeograph machine? I am waiting to hear some definite word from the States before
I can tell you the exact position, but I still need the PA system very much at this time It is my hope that in the next newsletter I can tell you something more definite.
RESULTS
There have been few responses to the gospel invitation with no baptisms as yet. I am confident there wi 11 be re sults in spite of the working of the Devil. The Lord is in this business; you are in it; and I am willing to work. We hope to have a week of Evangelistic services at Clover Hill
soon.
