CONTRACT FOR SPECIFIC SERVICES

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That this contract is entered into by and between the following persons this 8th day of July 2013, in the Municipality of Santa Cruz, Province of Laguna: LEOPOLDO T. HUNDANA, of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of Sitio 2, Brgy. Palasan, Santa Cruz, Laguna 4009 and hereinafter referred to as the FIRST PARTY; and DARCY MENDOZA VILLANUEVA, likewise of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of 4414 Brgy. Patimbao, Santa Cruz, Laguna 4009 and hereinafter referred to as the SECOND PARTY. WITNESSETH, that: WHEREAS, the First Party has a project to construct a two-storey commercial building MH Del Pilar corner Alfonso Street, Santa Cruz, Laguna. Hence he is in need of a skilled person to provide an architectural design plan for his project; WHEREAS, the Second Party is a freelance architect with the necessary educational qualification, training, skills and experience to provide a sound and standard architectural plan and design; NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree. 1. The First Party hereby retains the services of the Second Party for the latter to perform the following SCOPE OF WORKS a]. The Second Party will prepare and submit to the First Party an architectural design and plan of a Two-Storey Commercial Building with a modern gothic or minimalist design; Twenty-Five (25) square meters in the ground floor; and Twenty-five square meters in the second floor; The Second Party shall specify in his design and plan the bill of materials in addition to the specific details of the different foundations, walls, floors, entrance/s and egress/es, fixtures windows, and other necessary specifications of the building; The Second Party shall provide two (2) original copies and three (3) blueprint copies; The Second Party shall be responsible in securing a Building Permit for the construction of the building from the concerned Municipal Government offices of Santa Cruz, Laguna.

For and in consideration of the services to be rendered by the Second Party, the First Party agrees to pay a service compensation of Fifthteen Thousand Pesos in accordance with the following schedule, to wit

The parties agree further that the obligations under this contract shall be completed within a period of one (1) month from signing hereof.
