The 2DQ: Questions that Won the Many
Wo n d e r h o w m a n y millions have been asked these two question?
Repeated, daily in all corners of the globe, translated and said in so many languages of the world. The questions are rather personal in nature. Directed to the human heart. One has to earn the right to ask the questions. The two diagnostic questions (2DQs) have been an important ingredient in the operation of the Evangelism Explosion ministr y worldwide. It serves as a guide on how we could effectively present the very core of the Gospel to others. Through the years, the 2DQs have not only served as a spring board to get into the Gospel presentation among the non-believers but even among the believers. Scores of testimonies have been written by church people, who for years, were blinded by the religious systems, who thought they have secured a place in the sight of God. Many trusted in good works or family t ra d i t i o n o f s e r v i c e i n l o c a l churches. In my former church two teaching and leading Elders discovered to their amazement that the duration of being inside the church did not guarantee a place in heaven. Of course, those who hear the 2 questions for the rst time, are shaken to the core of their beings like a thunderbolt. Recently, Kenneth Cabanda, one of EE's new Implementation Field Worker had t he privilege of meeting Litty, a 23 year old Sunday School teacher. Her father was the Senior pastor of their local church. Litty attended a Hope for Kids clinic (H4K) training conducted in the island of Fiji, South Pacic. The 2DQs were asked of her. She failed t o a n s we r c o r r e c t l y. G o s p e l presentation followed leading to her understanding the gospel and a decision to receive eternal life in Jesus Christ. Upon return home, Litty asked the same questions to her parents. Incorrect answers from both. The closest persons to her and the ones she looked up to, loved and respected - lacked the most basic foundation of one's faith. It was Litty's joy to then led her loving parents to The Lord Jesus Christ.

The 2DQ...
It is one thing to share the salvation message. It is quite another to share something one has experienced. What a tragedy for people like church elders in their 70s and or like Litty to spend their entire life teaching and being in church, spent greater part of their lives "in-service" to the Savior only to nd out in the end the absence of the Savior from their lives. The EE ministry is committed to the cause of Jesus Christ- to let Him be known by every single person in the world, as much as we can. This means, in the years ahead, as The Lord tarries and we are given the opportunity, the two Diagnostic Questions will continue to ring in the hearts of the multitude. While it is designed to just open up a conversation leading to the full presentation of the Gospel, it is an invaluable tool: to the witness and to the and the seekers. May we be faithful witnesses. Keep on asking. Keep on s h a r i n g .

Thirty-eight trainees. Fourteen countries. One purpose.

EE Philippines was privileged to send its three new full time eld coordinators (FCs) to the Implementation Field Workers Training in D. Kennedy Training Center, Nadi, Fiji Islands, last April 22 to May 31. Victor Alvarez, Primo Altamarino, Jr., and Kenneth Dave Cabanda joined 35 other individuals in this in-house training. The trainees represented 14 different countries. The main purpose of the gathering was to teach and equip the IFWs for their role in doing the evangelism ministry in the countries they represented. The IFWs will partner with at least 15 churches a ye a r, h e l p i n g t h e l a t t e r i n implementing EE by training their own people how to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The three FCs are now added to the existing eld coordinators of EE Philippines, helping the Lords work in Western Mindanao, Central Visayas, and Northern Luzon, respectively.

We smile and thank the Lord of the Harvest for the privilege of serving Him. The simple point is: He has done great and mighty things and we are simply amazed! -Rev. Bernard Henson
