As a whole class go through K What do they already know about Tectonic Plates? W -). Generate low & high order questions as a class on Plate Tectonics, re: what they want to know? L Read Geoactive pg 88 aloud to the class (review information locating skills ask students to find the page in the book). After each paragraph/idea, stop and get students to see whether their questions from W have been answered. Get students to write down any answers to their questions, plus any other key pieces of information they have learnt.
