II. Mission Activities at Thennangudi - Nedungadu

The Salesian community at Thennangudi-Nedungadu takes care of the faith formation of the faithful in the parish and education ministry to the poor and deserving children through the High School at Nedungadu. ii. Don Bosco High School: Don Bosco High School and nursery school has a total strength of 645 students, from LKG to Std. X. This is a coeducation school with 365 boys and 280 girls. In June, new Land was registered at Thirunallar registar office. The Government of Pondicherry awarded The Chief Ministers Rolling Trophy to the school during the 64th Republic celebrations, for its outstanding 100 percent results in the SSLC examinations. Two German volunteers came here to undergo experiential training in social and educational service. The fencing of the parish campus near the canal side and behind the community building was completed
