Here's what you do to get transcripts made: 1.Figure out how many sets of transcripts you need: Most universities in the US ask for one set. Some ask for two. So if you're applying to 4 american Universities, you would need anything from 4 to 8 transcripts. Figure how many you require. Also have the names of these universities ready. 2.Photocopy your certificates: a. Make one copy of your semester marksheets and consolidated marksheet. b. The semester marksheets can be on A4 size paper. The consolidated marksheet has to be in A3 size. c. Make X copies of your provisional / degree certificate. Where X is the number of transcripts you need. 3. Transcript Application Form: Go to the Transcript Section. This is located at the ground floor of what's called the Old Highways Block. This is on the campus located before the DOTE campus, Chennai. Fill out the transcript application form. Anna University charges Rs. 200 per transcript set - for example, 10 sets of transcripts would cost Rs. 2000 - but confirm this amount with them. 4.Prepare a DD: Once you have confirmed the amount to be paid, get a DD made.
