My Favourite Country

There many country in the world with it different atrraction. I'll take an example India country which have it own attraction to all tourist like the peace of the country and the fascinating architecture like Burj Dubai tower. Every. There are about 195 countries in this world and I choose Switzerland as my favourite country. Switzerland lies at the centre of western Europe geographically, yet it fiercely maintains its political independence perhaps the reason for it being one of the world's most prosperous economies. A lesson not easily learned by other countries in Europe. It is sometimes called "Europe's water tower" because its mountains full of snow are the source of western Europe's largest rivers. The Danube, Po, Rhine, Rhne and the InnDanube. The removal of thirsty trees to create new ski slopes has been cited as a reason for the extra water that it currently delivers to its neighbouring countries in more than required abundance. Temperature and it climate vary greatly dependent not only upon season but on elevation. Most of the population is concentrated on the plateau north of the Alps, where summers are warm and winters are dry, cool and often foggy. South of the Alps it is considerably warmer and more sunny. Strong southerly winds can bring summer-like weather even in a winter. First reason why I choose Switzerland is because of their Switzerland has a stable, prosperous and high-tech economy. In 2011, it was ranked as being the wealthiest country in the world. Switzerland has the highest European rating in the Index Of Economic

Freedom 2010, while also providing large coverage through public services. The World Economic Forum's Global Competitiveness report currently ranks Switzerland's economy as the most competitive in the world. For much of the 20th century, Switzerland was the wealthiest country in Europe by a considerable margin. Switzerland's most important economic sector is manufacturing. Manufacturing consists largely of the production of specialist chemicals, health and pharmaceutical goods, scientific and precision measuring instruments and musical instruments. In employment there about around 3.8 million people work in Switzerland about 25% of employees belonged to a trade union in 2004. Switzerland has a more flexible job market than neighbouring countries and the unemployment rate is very low. Unemployment rate increased from a low of 1.7% in June 2000 to a peak of 4.4%, as of December 2009. Next, is about their education which is very diverse because of the constitution of Switzerland delegates the authority for the school systems to the cantons. Their education economy are very stable because their arrangement in education system are unique and effective. Many Nobel prizes were awarded to Swiss scientists, for example to the world famous physicist Albert Einstein in the field of physics who developed his special relativity while working in Bern.

Second reason why I choose Switzerland as my favourite country is because their politics. Switzerland has a long republican tradition, its modern democratic constitution dates back to 1848 only, however, and was put into effect after a short civil war in 1847 leaving a conservative minority in a position of losers for decades. The constitution was totally revised in 1874 and amended organically from

time to time since. The 1999 total revision did not change anything of importance in substance, it's sole purpose was to establish a modern and more readable structure and language there have been more substancial changes in small revisions of single items in the last five years than between the "old" and the "totally revised" constitution. The federal constitution defines Switzerland as a federal state composed of 26 cantons (until 1976: 25 cantons) with far reaching autonomy. For historical reasons, six of the 26 cantons count as halfcantons created by splitting three originally united cantons in two autonomous halves each, so the total number of 23 cantons given in some other sources is also correct in a way. Apart from voting arithmetics in referendums and in the small chamber of parliament, the half-cantons have exactly the same status as full cantons. Although their political system are complex but that what keep Switzerland in peace and harmony.

Next is why I choose Switzerland as my favourite country is because it landscape. There are a lot of beautiful nature and wonderful sight of Alps and so on. This is a country containing the most spectacular mountain scenery, road tunnels that pierce mountains with little thought, chalets located on mountain-sides where only goats might think of making home in other countries. The Swiss talent for neat organization can be seen all around starting at the neatly stacked wood-piles outside remote chalets. There about a hundred mountain peaks are close to or higher than 4000 metres. The beautiful scenery will make you don't want to be in other place in earth except watch the beautiful landscape of mountains in Switzerland. Go summer or

winter, for all seasons have their attractions winter for snow, and summer for spectacular scenery.

Switzerland also have it very own unique culture which makes it a good reason to live in. Three of Europe's major languages are official in Switzerland. Swiss culture is characterised by diversity, which is reflected in a wide range of traditional customs. A region may be in some ways strongly culturally connected to the neighbouring country that shares its language, the country itself being rooted in western European culture. The linguistically isolated Romansh culture in Graubunden in eastern Switzerland constitutes an exception, it survives only in the upper valleys of the Rhine and the Inn and strives to maintain its rare linguistic tradition. Switzerland is home to many notable contributors to literature, art, architecture, music and sciences. In addition the country attracted a number of creative persons during time of unrest or war in Europe. Some 1000 museums are distributed through the country; the number has more than tripled since 1950. Among the most important cultural performances held annually are the Lucerne Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Locarno International Film Festival. Alpine symbolism has played an essential role in shaping the history of the country and the Swiss national identity. Nowadays some concentrated mountain areas have a strong highly energetic ski resort culture in winter, and a hiking (wandering) or Mountain biking culture in summer. Other areas throughout the year have a recreational culture that caters to tourism, yet the quieter seasons are spring and autumn when there are fewer visitors. A traditional farmer and herder culture also predominates in many areas and small farms are omnipresent outside the cities. Folk art is kept alive in organisations all over the country. In Switzerland it is mostly

expressed in music, dance, poetry, wood carving and embroidery. The alphorn, a trumpet-like musical instrument made of wood, has become alongside yodeling and the accordion an epitome of traditional Swiss music. Their culture so unique and majority of their culture it been influence by their four season. What a beautiful country to live in with such magnificient culture. For the last reason why I choose Switzerland to be my favourite country is because
