Block Seminar Deadlines: For Applications Incoming Students

02 September to 07 September 2013 Fall Term: 31 May, 2013 Winter Term : 31 July, 2013 It is mandatory for all incoming students to arrive in India on a Students Visa. Nomination for MIM:

Incoming students need to apply for the MIM course through their CEMS coordinator at Home Schools. IIMC will accept the incoming students for the MIM program based on the application and other supporting documents provided.

Before Arrival: Copy of latest Post-Graduate Transcripts for 1st Year translated in English Copy of Bachelor Degree Transcripts translated in English One scanned passport size photo Documents Required: On Arrival: Three passport size photographs Copy of current Passport Copy of Visa (It is mandatory for all visiting students to have a student visa) Proof of Health Insurance with Coverage for your stay in India It is mandatory for all students to stay within the campus. IIMC provides hostel rooms for students. Tuition Fees Exempted Housing Expenses : Approx.USD 160 per term for single room accommodation Food : Approx. Accommodation:

The language of instruction for all courses is in English. Hence exchange students need to be proficient in English. All students in IIMC are proficient in English and other Indian language like Hindi. Exchange students proficient in English will not have any difficulty in communicating in English. IIMC conducts language classes in French, Spanish, and Mandarin. Duration of the classes is 22-30 hours on average for Beginners Level. Additional charges are applicable 2|Page

As per CEMS curriculum, it is mandatory for all CEMS students to complete course in: Global Strategy (in Term 1) Global Management Practice (in Term 2) To meet the remaining ECTS requirements, students can chooses from various courses offered by IIMC such as: Human Resource Management in Multinational Corporations Entrepreneurship in NGOs Leadership Excellence: Insights from the Indian Ethos International Finance Marketing to BottomofPyramid Consumers Sustainable Supply Chain Management Country Risk Analysis Financial Risk Management

Actual courses offered for 2013/2014 will be made available before the students arrive for their term at IIMC. Exchange students need to ensure they arrive at IIMC before first day of the class Class Format Classes are conducted through a mix of lectures, case analysis, interactive projects, discussions and presentations. Extensive inclass participation is critical Students must prepare for each case study before class The PGP student batch consists of a healthy mix of freshers and students with prior work experience 68% of the class has prior work experience of an average of 20 months from diverse industries like public sectors, NGOs, consulting firms, Indian armed forces, healthcare and IT firms. There are also some students who are entrepreneurs and have started their own business. 91% of the batches are from an engineering background. There are also overseas students from universities like The Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University, University of Maryland, University of New Brunswick, Canada, University of Adelaide, Nan yang Technological University, Singapore and University of Melbourne. Student Council IIMC has a student council which acts as an interface between Faculty and administration. This council helps in the close interactions between the students and the faculty members and extends outside the ambits of academics.

Campus Facilities

IIMC campus is located away from the hum-drum of city life to offer a serene and natural environment to all students. The 135 acre campus houses offices, faculty and office blocks along with fully equipped class-rooms, seminar and conference rooms etc. The campus has a 750 seater, state of the art auditorium where conferences, presentations etc. are held. IIMC library is considered to be one of the best management libraries in Asia Pacific Region. Other facilities include a gymnasium, swimming pool, a bank and post office. IIMC has 4 major hostels which are wellequipped with common rooms, games rooms and courts for various sports. Clubs
