Welcome to DownSouth! This is a guide for you, and it has useful information.

I am not going to repeat anything if asked a question already covered here, so ple ase read all of it. It should take a maximum of five minutes.

:::FEATURES *DownSouth is a very social/active, mainly PVE (with casual PVP) guild that is h ere to help you find friends to run dungeons, nests, and raids with. It is also a storage guild, with a storage open to anyone. We are always offering help if y ou need it. *For our RaidCall number, press O ingame and click the Guild tab. :::OFFICERS *West is our guild leader. His IGNs are Southsiders, TinkAbyss, WestAbyss, and W estsiders. He does not use Skype, but uses RaidCall. *I (Heather) am in charge of the Skype group and recruitment. My IGNs are Firobi sher, Gerita, Shanttae, and Berncastel. *There are also other officers, Sunny (Cheeztastic) is one in the Skype group. A sk us if you need help with guild storage, changing ranks, or recruitment. :::SKYPE/GUILD CHAT *As stated, the purpose of both chats is to find DN friends, ask questions, or t alk about anything. As with any type of chat involving adults, there may be vulg arity here. Please send a private message to me if you feel offended by anything and we will talk about it. *Members of any age are allowed in this Skype group, but I would prefer for you to be 15 years old+. Let me know if you are younger and in the group. *I do not like arguing. I don't want to see it in the group or guild. If you abs olutely have to do it, take it to PM or I will temporarily ban you from posting in chat. *To make the group (or anyone) show up at the top of your Skype contacts, rightclick on that group/contact and select "Add to Favorites." *To add someone from here to your contacts, right-click their name at the top of the group and select "Add Contact." :::DISABLING CHAT *To disable notifications from the group for some time, type /alertsoff and hit enter. Re-enable notifications by typing /alertson and pressing enter. You will still see messages, just not be notified of them. *In Dragon Nest, click on the wrench above the chat box and deselect "Guild" to stop receiving messages from the guild. Re-enable it the same way. :::RANKS IN GUILD *No one in guild should be a Recruit. If you are still a Recruit, please send me

/West/any officer a PM so that we can make you a Member. *To become a Veteran (storage withdrawal privilege), you must have been ACTIVE i n the guild and/or Skype group for at least two weeks. *To become an Officer, you must have been active in the guild and/or Skype group for at least a month and receive West's approval. :::GUILD STORAGE *Members have the ability to deposit items in the guild storage, but cannot with draw. Ask West or any Officer if you would like something from storage. *If you deposit an item and leave it there, do not be upset if someone takes it. *KEEP THE GUILD STORAGE ORGANIZED WHEN YOU DEPOSIT/WITHDRAW ITEMS. This is not h ard to do and saves us time. If you have trouble with this, ask me to do a trade with you at Irine and I will do it for you. *Anyone who withdraws an excessive amount of items from storage (made worse by n ot depositing anything back) will be kicked from the guild without a warning. *Check the storage every day! Some items that remain for a while are trashed. Ev erything is always up for grabs. :::GUILD REWARDS *In game, press the O key, click on the Guild tab, then the Guild Info button. N ext, click on the Guild Reward tab. *You can choose to buy a title with high stats here. You can also buy three piec es of the Pledge set for a 4% exp bonus (I highly recommend the Pledge pieces to anyone who is leveling). No proceeds go to the guild. :::PVE/NESTING (GUILD EXPERIENCE) *We get 2k-3k guild exp per run if four guild members go in a party to an Abyss mode dungeon or a Nest on either mode (Normal or Hell). I am not sure how this w orks in raids yet. *Whenever you want to run a Nest or go grinding, please ask if anyone else in th e guild will go with you. If you can get a party of four DownSouth members, that is going to bring us closer to getting more guild rewards for everyone. Besides , this is a great way to make friends in game. :::RECRUITMENT *Please invite anyone you can to the guild! We always want more people. *To invite someone, click on them IN TOWN and select Guild Invite. Alternatively , you can tell them to send in an application so an Officer can accept it. *We accept anyone level 10+ into the guild. Please do not invite anyone under le vel 10 unless it is the alt of someone already in the guild. :::PLVLING *IT IS OKAY TO ASK ME TO POWERLEVEL OR CARRY YOU IN NESTS. Why? I want to do thi s every day until I hit the guild exp cap. *Sometimes, I will carry in nests even after we have hit the exp cap to get mate rials, but DO NOT expect me to powerlevel you after we have hit the cap for Abys s dungeons. I also expect you to not hound me for plvling all the time (just ask ing every once in a while is fine). *There will also be certain guidelines on rolling since I will be plvling/carryi ng for free. :::PVP *Some members of the guild like to PVP. Just post the room number and password i n both the Skype and guild chat and people may join. This is a more PVE oriented guild, though, so don't expect much more than casual PVP. :) *If you want a lot of members to join, make sure you make the room big enough.
