PIPELINE MIXERS
Statiflo design and manufacture a wide range of pipeline mixers based on various element designs to suit the application and operating conditions to provide the optimum process performance. The range includes the STT, a twisted element design used for the smaller diameters 4 to 50 mm. The STL is Statiflos most widely used metallic element and has a welded contoured profile to give optimum mixing performance at low head loss. Normally used up to 600 mm diameter. For larger sizes the STM matrix design forms a very compact mixer that can be fitted where conventional mixers would be too long. In addition Statiflo manufacture mixers in a variety of non metallic materials such as uPVC, polypropylene, GRP and PTFE.

Statiflo Channel Mixers

Statiflo 900 series Channel Mixers provide complete mixing in open channels and achieve a low CoV (coefficient of variation) at a headloss of only a few millimetres. Independent trials have shown the Statiflo channel mixers provide the most efficient known form of static mixing, making them ideal for chemical dosing, resulting in optimum chemical usage and significant chemical cost savings.

Gas Disperser SystemGDS

If flow rates are fairly constant, then a conventional Mixer can be designed to efficiently disperse gas, form small bubbles, and effectively contact the two phases. But if the flow rate of liquid and/or gas varies, then the bubble size will vary, and the Mixer will not perform satisfactorily at low flow rates due to the lack of shear. Attempts have been made to design Mixers to provide sufficient shear at the lowest flow rate, but this approach tends to suffer from high pressure drop at higher flow rates. The Statiflo Gas Dispersion System (GDS) is designed to overcome these difficulties by separating the two distinctly different requirements by using two separate Mixers, each specifically designed to either disperse the gas or contact the gas with the liquid. Furthermore, the operation of the dispersing static mixer is totally independent of the main fluid flow rate.
