Angela Rutschke EDTECH 597 Blogging in the Classroom: Blog Plan

I am planning to blog for several different blogs, especially come September. The first blog is a collaborative blog (ITP on the calendar) to share ideas for teaching strategies. The next blog will be my classroom blog (CB on the calendar) for parents and students. The last blog I would like to continue will be for teaching ideas and technology integration (AB on the calendar). In addition to these blogs, my students will also begin the blogging process. (SB on the calendar) I will start by having them read and comment on my blog through Kidblog. They will participate in back channel micro-blogging through TodaysMeet, two times during September. They will begin their own blogs, which will serve as a digital-portfolio as well. I have planned to have them write one entry for each subject area and they will comment on at least 3 of their classmates posts each week. August, 2013
