Doom 3 may have been an update to the classic Doom formula, but it brought back those classic cheat codes gamers adore. The BGF edition changed how to access the console, but youll still be able to use those same cheats if you know the trick. How to Bring Up the PC Console Add the line +seta com_allowconsole 1 without quotations in the games shortcut. Rightclick the .exe file, choose Properties and add to the Target field. It should look like this: [Install Location]\Doom3BFG.exe +seta com_allowconsole 1 Common Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Doom 3 BFG Edition\Doom3BFG.exe +seta com_allowconsole 1 In the target line, dont forget to put a space after Doom3BFG.exe. Bring up the console in-game with the [~] key.
