MillarRich specializes in providing Family Based Services for individuals diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities throughout Tennessee. We serve clients who may also be medically fragile, exhibit challenging behaviors, are mobility impaired, or suffer from mental illness.

MillarRich Mission
The mission of MillarRich is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities so that they may realize their individual goals, develop hobbies, learn skills to become more independent, and live with dignity and respect in the community.

Lifestyle Coaching
Lifestyle Coaching is an innovative approach to program management. Coaches are equipped with a structured curriculum designed to ensure that Family Lifestyle Teachers are able to demonstrate important operational procedures. The families are also mentored in critical skill areas that are specific to each individual served in their home. The coaching curriculum is designed to produce quality outcomes that are at the heart of MillarRich.

Quality Outcomes
Individuals are treated with dignity and respect. Individuals are safe and secure in their home and community. Proper supervision techniques for ensuring safety at home and in the community are assessed monthly. Individuals are supported to live a healthy lifestyle. There are monthly assessments of preventative health maintenance, appropriate hygiene and maintaining a healthy diet & exercise program. Individuals learn skills that teach them to become more independent within all areas of life. Individuals are supported to maintain or develop relationships with their own family members as well as develop appropriate familylike relationships.

The Family Lifestyle Model

The Family Lifestyle Model is a unique service offered by MillarRich whereby individuals with disabilities live in a family setting with trained Family Lifestyle Teachers. Individuals are matched with Family Lifestyle Teachers based on their common interests. This allows individuals the opportunity to participate in activities they enjoy as well as experience new activities together with the family. The family cares for the needs of the individual 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Levels Of Need Supported

Medically Fragile
Individuals classified as medically fragile are served well in the Family Lifestyle Model. MillarRich has a nursing license and currently has families caring for individuals whereby one member of the family is either an RN or an LPN. The Director of Nursing provides the necessary oversight for these homes.

Mobility Impaired
MillarRich serves individuals who are mobility impaired. Many families have chosen to relocate to wheelchair accessible homes in order to provide care to this truly special population.
