On foot, by truck, and by boat, PFC Kenya team does whatever it takes to reach and serve people all over East Africa
The rst half of 2013 has been an incredibly productive time for our PFC team on the ground. With the support of our US donors, PFC staff have reached and served thousands of people all over Kenya. PFC matched the funds pledged by donors in our year-end campaign. As a result, Partners for Care has not only maintained current programs, but signicantly expanded them, allowing our team to reach many more people. Thank you! Some mid-year highlights include: Established two more PFC farms in Malindi, and Marsabit - to feed the children. Opened the Joseph Beasley Education Center in Watamu, which includes a 2nd Chance School and literacy programming. Increased number of water packs distributed from 700 to 7,000. Hand delivered packs to people, coastto-coast in Marsabit, Mai Mahiu, Marurui, and Watamu. Distributed 500 bed nets in Marurui Slum.
