Camera Recordings

Namibia TV & DVD Productions use state of the
art video cameras and equipment to ensure video
productions of the highest quality.

Our equipment consists of 3 High Definition
Video cameras and is approved by the BBC &
National Geographic for their highly sought after
productions.

Our Canon XF 305 video camera can capture footage
at Bitrates' of 50 megabits per second (high definition
format - 1920 x 1080), while the other video cameras
in use in Namibia can achieve roughly 35 megabits per
second only. In the near future we will increase this to
about 200 megabits per second. Our equipment is truly
of the highest standard in Namibia.

Aerial Camera Recordings

We can do aerial photography from Helicopters, Gyrocopters, OctoCopters or
Microlites, if available.

Freelance Camera Recordings

If you need the services of a camera operator with equipment, we can help.

Multi-Camera Recordings

Namibia TV & DVD Productions can record with up to five video
cameras simultaneously! On request, we can increase the amount
of cameras , providing the best possible opportunity for high quality,

Multi-camera video recordings are useful for filming big events
such as school concerts, festivals, special weddings, working
environments, product launches etc.

One-day Video Camera Recordings

We do short video clips or photos of your business, lodge, game farm
and countless other products. Our day or hourly rates makes it possible to
capture video recordings at minimal cost but maximum outcome.
The video clips are then transferred onto DVD and you can play this DVD at any venue to
market your business. We can add music to your DVD and we can
extract high quality still photos from video. You can use this video
material and still photos for brochures, booklets,

Namibia TV & DVD Productions is making history once again to be the first video production company in Namibia to
purchase an OctoCopter to be used for aerial photography. This highly engineered craft enables us to do aerial
photography and record footage in confined spaces and unusual locations. The possibilities are endless. We can do inspection
flights, research and capture footage for still photography, video or film.

The OctoCopter is ideal for TV advertisements, wildlife and tourism videos and can cater for specific individual needs and
requirements. An OctoRotor, also called an OctoRotor helicopter or OctoCopter, is an aircraft that is lifted and propelled by
eight rotors. OctoCopters are classified as rotorcrafts, as opposed to fixed-wing aircrafts, because their lift is derived from
eight rotors. OctoCopters are highly engineered flying crafts, equipped with the latest technology such as Waypoint flying,
ComeHome commands and CareFree programs.

Our CineStar 8 OctoCopter is the next evolution in professional heavy-lift multi-rotor helicopters. The CineStar 8 OctoCopter
is a reliable and robust system for aerial video, film and still photography.
Wildlife and Documentaries

This is another strong point of our company. Wildlife photography is a speciality field where
certain skills and techniques are vital. We have recently produced a 54-minute documentary
for the overseas market on the African Bullfrog, an endangered specie filmed in Namibia.

A combination of our tourism marketing and wildlife photography skills will ensure that
we produce a high quality video production for all your promotional needs.

Video Editing

Our editing suites are state of the art equipment approved by the BBC. Our main edit facility is an 8-core Apple Mac
computer with 8 Terabyte hard drive space, 14-megabit RAM, another one of a kind in Namibia. We edit on Final
Cut Pro and use Motion 4 for graphics and animation. We are upgrading our edit facilities from two to three edit
suites, which will help to increase our production rate.
Advertising

The outstanding quality of our high
definition video camera and our state
of the art editing facilities enables us
to produce your advertisement for
broadcasting purposes.

Digital brochures

We design and create electronic/digital
brochures for use on DVD and downloadable
brochures for the Internet. This limits the costly
business of printing hundreds or even thousands
of copies for distribution worldwide.
Music Videos

We have extensive experience in the production
of music videos and have already worked with
numerous local and South African artists.

School concerts & multi-camera video recordings

Our company uses at least three to four video
cameras (multi-camera recordings) to capture
your event. We have developed a concept where
we film from close up shots to wide-angle shots,
and never miss any of the participants in school
events, musical performances, outdoor activities etc.
Our school concert productions are of the highest standards
with no out-of-focus recordings or missed moments.
Printing

We do graphic designing of brochures, booklets,
business cards and other printed media. We have
developed a technique to capture high quality photos
from video, which can be use in brochures and
other printed media. We print on DVD's, CD's and
video covers.







Still and Aerial Photography

Although not our main activity, we can do still photography.
We use a 18 mega-pixel camera with a 200-x 400mm telephoto lens,
or we can extract high quality photos from video.

Photos from video

A technique, which we have perfected and studied in South
Africa, is to extract photos from video clips. Video cameras
record 25 frames every second, in other words, you have
25 different photos or pictures every second. The quality
of these pictures is perfect for brochures and other
printed material as well as for Power Point presentations,
Websites, Social Networking and much more.

DVD/CD Duplications & VHS Transfers

Our DVD/CD duplication bank can accommodate up
to a thousand or more DVD's and CD's per day.
We can protect your DVD from illegal copying with
copyright protection. We design face labels
for DVD's as well as video covers for polyboxes,
and we print in full colour on DVD's and
CD's. We also transfer VHS tapes
onto DVD's!

Translations

We can convert any video production into a fully
translated production in any language
in order for you to reach more people with your
video marketing tool. This is a highly specialized
field and our producer is one of only a few on the
African continent with the technique and experience
for doing a production of this kind.

Archive Bank

We have an archive with more than 400 hours of video
material. The majority of these, however, are on
standard definition format. We are in the process of
collecting full high definition format video material
for our archives which we use to help enhance
many of our tailor-made productions.
