Who We Are

Visionary Christian Ministry is led by Pastor Audrey Algre, who is orginally fom New York City. After joining the United States Navy she soon answered Gods calling into ministry. She was ordained and licensed in 2002 but it was not until 2006 that she fully understood what Gods purpose for her was, to start and lead Visionary Christian Ministries. Since then, Pastor Audrey has worked to establish a ministry that allows Gods vision to direct His people. She is married with four children. Finally, she is an educator with many degrees and certificates.

What We Do
Visionary Christian Ministries endeavor to bring the lost and down trodden to Christ. We want to be a positive influence by motivating, encouraging, and supporting others in their walk with Christ. We want to help bring forth the vision that leads to salvation amongst those who love and need the Lord!

Our Vision
Visionary Christian Ministries will support and fulfill Gods ultimate purpose, which is to go into the world to preach the gospel and save souls for the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Audrey felt led to establish her ministry in Edisto Island, South Carolina. There she leads a small congregation that follows her in her passion to share Gods light onto the world. She beleives that the word of God is not a secret for Christians, it is the road map that God ordained for ALL people. Sharing, encouraging, laughing, praying and most of all, loving one another as a must for the ministry. It the hope of Pastor Audrey that Gods enternal love seeps through to not only the growing congregation but to all who have ears that are willing to hear.

Our Mission
The mission of Visionary Christian Ministries is to spread the Word of God through Biblical teachings, Christian training, inspired worship, phenomenal praise, and continual discipleship.

Statement of Faith
We believe in the Old and New Testaments. We believe that both were inspired by God and revealed by God to man. We believe in God, the Father, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. We believe that HE is the Author and Finisher of all things! We believe in the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe that HE is the Son of God. We believe that HE was sent from HIS FATHER to be the sacrifice for the sins of man. We believe that man only received redemption through the bloodshed of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe in the Baptism of water. We believe that upon the acceptance of Jesus Christ and the repentance of sins as per scriptures, that man must be baptized. We believe in the participation of the Lords Supper, a celebration of Jesus death and resurrection. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who was sent to help, encourage and support us until, Jesus Christ returns. We believe in the act of Sanctification. We believe in separating ourselves from evil and dedicating ourselves to God.

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ that serves to fulfill the ultimate mission of God to save souls. We believe that ministries within the church exist to praise and worship God, to evangelize, and to add to the Body of Christ. We believe in healing, the anointing, and laying on of hands, as directed in the scriptures. We believe in The Rapture or Blessed Hope. We believe that Jesus will return and rapture those saints who are asleep in Christ, and those who are alive, and take them with Him to Heaven. We believe that after the Rapture that Jesus will return His saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years. We believe that those who have refused to accept Christ will be raised and will receive their The Final Judgment, according to their works. We believe that we will receive a new heaven and a new earth. We believe that the righteous will live in eternity with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost!

Our Youth Ministries

Our girls youth program is for girls ages 10-16 years of age. This program helps to mentor girls in a variety of areas such as sell esteem, self respect, and peer pressure. This program shows them that being accepted and loved by God will give them the power that they need to not only stand up to the challanges they face everyday but to also be a light in the world and especially to those around them. Throught this group they are not only able to grow in their walk with the Lord but to form everlasting friendships that will create accountablity and strength in that walk.
