To honor the alumni whose accomplishments exemplify Marian values, effective citizenship, leadership, community and public service and success in their chosen careers. b. To encourage the alumni to continue their interest in and cooperation with the different programs of the Institution. c. To highlight the alumni in the community who uphold the standards expressed in the vision/mission of the institution : Filipino Culture, Christian Values, globally competitive citizenship. d. To serve as inspiration to the youth to harness their potentials to the fullest. II. Eligibility Guidelines: a. Any alumnus/alumna who has outstanding records of accomplishments relating to the objectives of occupations. c. A persons record of accomplishments should indicate interest in and support of the youth, civic, beyond. d. Alumni nominees should be recommended by respectable authorities in the Alumni Association, by and past or present officer of Maryhill College, or by and esteemed individual in the community. e. Any individual who studied at Maryhill College for at least 4 years would be eligible for nomination. f. He/She should be outstanding in a certain line of endeavor such as but not limited to: Agriculture Education Engineering and Architecture Environment Government Service Law public, Church or school activities in the community, country and this award is eligible for consideration. b. III. Judging Breakdown Criteria 1. Citizenship As exemplified by participation in civic, Church, community, school, public service and related activities denoting concern for the welfare of others. 2. Leadership As exemplified by qualities of leadership and acceptance of leadership, responsibilities in civic, Church, school, youth professional business and related activities. 3. Career Accomplishments As exemplified by accomplishments and success in chosen profession or occupation 4. IV. Procedure: 1. Committee on Awards is the body that is primarily tasked to do thorough screening of the prospective awardees. It is composed of the President of the Alumni Association and ten members representing different batches. Results o f deliberation shall be forwarded to the schools Administrative Council for confirmation. 2. Nomination Period: July 2013 to September 2013 3. Meetings of Committee on Awards: September 2013 to October 2013 4. Confirmation Meeting: November 2013 5. Awarding : December 2013 6. All names of the nominees and their documents ,must be received by alumni Awards Committee by September 2013 (through fax, e-mail or postal mail) 7. The official nomination form is available at the directors Office or may be downloaded from the schools website. V. Categories: The Awards are of 2 categories: 1. Diamond Award the highest award and shall be given to but one individual 2. Alumni Award shall be given to not more than 10 individuals
