PRAYER LIST
To All Churches: From Edith VanderEnde & family: We want to thank each and everyone who has prayed, loved and supported us with all acts and thoughts of kindness during John's last two years and especially in the last days following his passing into glory. "All (we) have needed Thy hand has provided, Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!" Amen FIRST CHURCH: Change in phone number: Bob and Jackie Lachine is now 519-3590895. This is our new number and it is also to be used if there are any custodial concerns at 1st CRC. GRACE CHURCH: This past Monday the family of Mr. John VanderEnde gathered to celebrate his life and mourn his passing. Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Edith VanderEnde and family. We are thankful for God's blessing in the safe arrival of Breanne Martha Deelstra. Breanne arrived on August 13 and is welcomed by Tom and Melissa and big sister Hannah. Mary Hummelen has suffered a fractured collarbone following a fall. May the healing process be speedy!

Calvary Church is selling tickets for their BROASTED CHICKEN DINNER on Friday, September 6th from 5 7 pm. Eat in or take out. Adults $15; Children (6-12) $7; Children (5 and under) free. Note: last day to order is August 30th. Phone: 354-4235 or 397-4190 to order chicken. No Auditions required, only a heartfelt joy in singing praise and worship. Once again the Chatham-Kent Christian Mens Choir will be starting the 2013-14 year with the first practice beginning at 7:30 PM on Tuesday the 3rd of September. The practices are held at the First Reformed Church located at the corner of Lacroix St. and Indian Creek Road West. This all male choir is looking for other men who enjoy singing praises and having fun while learning new and traditional songs. Give us a try; youll be glad you did. No need to call, just show up at the appointed place and time and you will be warmly welcomed. Outlook Summit: Faith-based business leaders, entrepreneurs and organizational decision makers are called to a live a life of faith in the marketplace and pubic square. We will meet for six weeks beginning September 10, and for eight weeks beginning in January. If you are interested in taking this course, please contact Pastor Jack since materials need to be printed in advance. YOUNG ADULT CAMPING: "Attention all people aged 18-30 (aka- young adults)! Hope to see you there!" The Annual Friesian Weekend will be held on August 24 and 25 at the Tilsonburg Fair Grounds. The Church service in the Friesian language will take place, D.V. on Sunday, August 25 at 3:00 pm with Rev. John Hellinga delivering the message.
