Faith of a child...
On her second day of school, one of our children had to bring 10 items in a paper bag that "said something" about her. She proceeded to pull out her Bible and said, "I'm a Christian and I love to go to church and this is my Bible." SO proud. That may have been the highlight of MY year! -- her proud mom!

Baby Dedication
Join us for our Baby Dedication ceremony when parents, and sometimes entire families, make a commitment to raise their child(ren) according to God's Word with the love and support of their Church family. Sign-up will begin in September. Dedication Sunday will be at the end of September 29th. Watch for details for this sweet and simple service.

Where can I check in my kids?

There are three areas on campus to check in your kids! Room 11 is the one most are familiar with but did you know there is a station at the Sanctuary entry AND in Room 1 of the Preschool building? This is to give you quick options throughout campus. If you dont have your key fob, there is one computer in Room 11 that allows you to type in your name for check in. All the others need the key fob. If you would like a key fob, please come see us in Room 11 and we will be happy to get you started!

August 21 - Bowling this Wednesday. If you are interested, contact Katy at katy.statler@chaparral.org. August 28 - Fall Youth Group Kickoff, 7-8:30 p.m. in the East Hall, Junior and Senior High students are welcome Wednesday Nights! Sunday, September 22 Adult vs Student Ultimate Frisbee Game and BBQ, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Desert Horizon Park (aka Police Park) at 56th St. and Greenway. Bring a side or drink to share.

Our summer months have depleted our pantry. In your weekly shopping, please consider helping us replenish our shelves with the following items: Peanut buer, canned meat, vegetables and beans, pop-top soup, individual servings of apple sauce/fruit, powdered milk, cereal, juice boxes, granola bars, and small packages of crackers. These can be brought to the Church oce or the Narthex PANTRY BOX throughout the month of August.
