Welcome to
Resurrection Sunday By Mike Rose, Senior Pastor
It is a pleasure to welcome you and your family to First Federated Church
this morning. Each Sunday is a celebration of the relationship we have with
Jesus. Easter holds special significance in marking the day Jesus rose from the
grave. In doing this He demonstrated God’s power over sin and death
and displayed God’s unmatched glory. We hope that what you will
personally experience here today will make the resurrection a reality.
I want to take this opportunity to share some exciting events taking
place at First Federated Church. First, a new pastor has joined our
ministry staff. Curt De Graaff has recently
begun developing and overseeing a focused
ministry to young adults. His area of ministry includes young
singles, couples and families, and college students. Following
today’s service you can meet Pastor Curt and his wife Karen
to learn more about how this exciting new ministry focus
may be of benefit to you.
Second, we’re expanding our Sunday
Sunday morning ministries. On Sunday, April 6, we

and children’s ministry programming.
Finally, our present blended service will continue to be
offered for those who enjoy a mixture of worship styles. Pastor Mike Howland will continue
to lead worship and I will be the primary speaker for this service as well.
We are excited about the new ministries, times and worship environments that we are
offering. We invite you and your family to check out the ministries First Federated offers. We
believe you will find a place where you can develop a growing relationship with God, connect
with other believers and use your unique abilities to serve God and help others.
Have a blessed Resurrection Day!
