Interview
The Speaking module takes between 11 and 14 minutes.

There are three main parts:


Part 1: your home/family, your job/studies, your interests and a wide range of similar familiar topic areas Part 2:The candidate is given a task card with prompts and is asked to talk on a particular topic for at most two minutes. Part 3: The examiner and the candidate engage in a discussion of more abstract issues and concepts, which are thematically linked to the topic prompt in Part 2.

attend the state university of Tehran study civil engineering private universities entered college I graduated about 3 years ago I specialized in medicine my favorite major obtain the score a strenuous year of studying I finally was granted the university admission Im currently preparing myself for the Ph.D. entrance exam have an MS in mathematics give us some insight

complaining about the lessons and the tests a good field applied for it grew an interest in the subject a very modern university equipped with high-tech facilities and laboratories professors were all experienced and well-motivated the education system powerful and efficient practical courses theoretical courses solve unfamiliar problems very interested in my field motivated to learn

work in an international company in charge of our main responsibility is to Im a civil engineer I am employed Ive been working for almost 13 years a full-time employee a 9 to 5 job also responsible for challenging find solutions meet a deadline the deadline fall behind our schedule resume work

You know sometimes we fall behind our schedule, but then we cant extend the deadline therefore we need to work overtime and that could be very bothersome at times especially when youre invited to dinner I mean you cant make it and then you cant behave socially you have to reject invitation after invitation

the neighbors are all very helpful and very considerate very spacious within a walking distance pay any fare or go downtown spend hours commuting from and to work modern household facilities advanced security systems moved in present accommodation there are no restrictions in a house taste real freedom Living in a flat for me is just like living in jail

Do you like living in a house or a flat?
Certainly a house, I mean I prefer a house by all means. Ive never lived in a flat and I think I will never do that unless I have to. You know there are no restrictions in a house, you can play music loud you can come home late you can have a party and you dont need to constantly apologize to your neighbors in the mornings as you run into them. I mean you can taste real freedom. Living in a flat for me is just like living in jail.

Well, yes of course there are seven in my family and we are all married and most of us have a couple of kids so altogether I think we are 23, you cant believe it. But thank God we dont live in the same house nowadays and we are independent which makes the crowd more tolerable, but when we get together on the weekend you can see what a huge family we are

leisure activities in my free time read books play video games going out with friends go mountain climbing spend my time reading books different kinds of hobbies favorite hobby my main interest a fitness freak work out 4 or 5 times a week keeps me in shape keen on cars spend my weekend on my car reading is my favorite stuff like that I am also interested in marshal arts adore her cooking

Well, I have lots of different kinds of leisure activities, but in my free time I mainly read books, I read poetry and books concerning religious matters. I also play video games usually car race games, but I try not to indulge in playing games, and let me think, going out with friends is my favorite too, we usually go mountain climbing or driving

live in the outskirts of Tehran beautiful city located in the northeast of the province the characteristics of a good city clean and safe very quiet and peaceful recreational facilities public transport a small village I dont really approve of it moved out there was really no chance for progress love my hometown very kind and very hospitable the roads and the streets are not paved dirt roads get used to the new conditions in Tehran originally from Ahvaz the nature was scenic go into the jungle and its very popular with tourists historical places ancient places they are worth seeing natural landscapes the most important celebration the arrival of the new year natural spas riverbanks and the lakes the riverbanks have been landscaped go cruising enjoy watching the wildlife mountainous area with cold temperature a desert full of historical places Holy places lucrative and exciting business tourist attractions

As a matter of fact I was born in the southwest of the country in a small village, and there we had nothing I mean we didnt even have a high school and so I dont really approve of it and Im happy we moved out of that small village there was really no chance for progress; nevertheless, I respect the people of the village they are very nice and very kind
